of comfort food they serve down south. This style of food is the inspiration behind some of the dishes we serve at Nolah

Awesome restaurant. The food was exquisite. The service left nothing to be desired. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants a nice New Orleans type food experience. Definitely worth it.
Great service, great staff. We were seated immediately after we came and our waiter was very nice. Food wasn't as good as I remember from the first time I visited. The oysters were bland and we felt it relied a little too much on the sauce. Chicken special was good and sweet but was probably missing something acidic or salty. Shrimp and gritz was good. I would probably come back but not anytime soon.
Pork Creole was very tasty. My wife and I ordered 4 entrees that we just had to try.
Great Service and tasty food.
Food was great as usual, we don’t go very often and I’d say it doesn’t change dramatically but it has always been reliable tasty and that’s why people’s love it. The waitress was both efficient and very sweet.
Very authentic cuisine! with beautiful presentation!......just as we remembered it from our trips to New Orleans!!
The gumbo was delicious and the shrimp jambalaya had just the right amount of smokiness......and be sure to leave room for the amazing bread pudding!!
Thank you for being here so we don't have to travel so far so we can get our "fix" of cajun and relive our fond memories!
Staff is very nice and friendly.Liked the idea of the little tasters they had as a complimentary drink. Food was good and I was sitting beside a blogger where we were able to see different types of food and her opinion for the next visit.
We stayed for 2 hours, we did not feel rushed or anything. Good experience overall!
Bistro Nolah has been terrific each time I have eaten there. Lunch, brunch and supper choices are all fantastic and well presented. Service is always excellent. The only negative is the noise level which can be very high if the restaurant is full
Awesome food! Great service! Great value. Great time
The food was very good, but honestly, it was so noisy, we had to speak very loud and we were only 2 people. We were sitting in the middle although other tables were free, and yes I did make a reservation, I asked to be moved and they told me no. So, i would not return unless we are seating somewhere else.
Very Nice food
The waiter describe every dish with passion
Love the Bourbon shrimp
Will redo the experience
Great evening with good food and wine! Really enjoyed the service, the head waiter is awesome, extremely knowledgeable about the menu and drinks, a pleasure!
First-time for brunch at Nolah - as awesome as dinner! Everything was excellent!
We had a birthday lunch there and it was very nice. Food is really good. The place is small but very well done. They could use a few more vegetarian options on the menu, as its very meat heavy, but the food was really delicious anyway! Waiter was very sweet but rarely there. The main thing we didnt like was that we waited an hour to get any food at all. With kids thats long. They should definitely brush up on the service and check on the tables more. I also didnt get offered to receive the receipt .. thats a first! :)
This was my millionth time at Bistro Nolah, and it was just as incredible as usual. Service and food with both amazing. There is really nothing like it around, and you can feel the love and passion of the owners in the food. I highly recommend Bistro Nolah! You will 100% never ever be disappointed.
We had a wonderful dinner, our waiter was very informative and when we asked him for recommendations he gave them. Food was outstanding as always. The only down side was the people around us were talking really loud, because the music was a little loud. (It was good but too loud)
Nolah never disappoints. Lea, our server was excellent as usual. The fried chicken entree was very tasty as was the shrimp taco. My husband loved the shrimp and grits and my daughter her shrimp jambalaya. The ribs were so tender you could cut them with a fork. We had a very enjoyable supper and the bistro was busy on a Wednesday night.
The food was amazing. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anybody that enjoys cajun food
Amazing food as always! Great drinks, great service!
Disappointed with the wine and beer selection but the food was outstanding.
Never disappointed! The food is fantastic and the service is great.
Fantastic! Amazing food! Amazing service!
My 2nd time in a week and a half...last time was brunch, this time supper. Never a disappointment, food, presentation...2 thumbs up!!
For the price of the mussels I was very disappointed. The size was no bigger than you nail on your baby finger. Which is small.
Service is bad. They charge 5$ for 2 cup of hot water. When we finish the water(cold and hot), No one come to ask if we need more water. No smile, no water refill. Food is good.
As always, Bistro Nolah never ceases to amaze. The food is always on point, service is like no other, ambience is incredible and overall experience is definitely memorable.
I would highly recommend this restaurant.
My favorite restaurant in the West Island! Service is impeccable, our water new exactly what the chef had on the menu and is able to describe each plate and ingredients. The food is outstanding. The homemade cocktails are great. You won't be disappointed.
The food was delicious. Fried chicken not greasy and so tasty. Had the shrimp and grits sooo good. Shrimp jambalaya was also very good. I would highly recommend this restaurant. I have to say that the service was a bit slow.
Been a dozen times. I almost hesitate to say how good it is in fear of making it harder to get a reservation. Gumbo, shrimp and grits and creole shrimp and jambalaya are all amazing. One of top three restaurants on the West Island in my opinion.
Food and Service were outstanding! So great to not have to drive downtown Montreal for such culinary experience.
Great food as always.
I wish I could give a better review this time because of my past experiences, but the restaurant was off its game this time. I had to give back two consecutive different wines by the glass because they were both undrinkable. The soup of the day, which was a tomato bisque was thin and had droplets of oil in top. The flourless chocolate torte had a strange consistency and the caramel sauce drizzled over it made it way too sweet. The meal was saved only by the incredible blackened catfish main course, that had a truly wonderful texture and taste. I would highly recommend it
Very nice outside on the terrace. Not too loud, ambiance good. Not sure I would want to eat inside though, very loud and squishy. Food excellent, servers wonderful.
Amazing food, great terrace with even better service !!
The service was excellent. The food a bit spicy as expected and very good.We dined on your outdoor terrace which is very nice.We did notice that indoor was rather loud.
We had a great experience.
Very unique cuisine. The food tastes amazing and the waiter was really great.
Another great meal for supper at Nolah’s !
We started off with a lentil soup of the day and also a sausage gumbo. Am amuse bouche of a sweet potato hush puppy was offered afterwards -all very delicious and well seasoned!
We both had decided on the special -pork chop creole omg was so juicy and Tender the large size portion of meat and the corn Salsa and side of sausage jambalaya
Both plates were cleaned! Great choice .
No room for dessert this time though so we skipped!
Definitely highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return soon ! Bon appétit!!
Fabulous service, food, drinks, music as always!!!!
Went to eat on two different occasions. For dinner which was amazing. The shrimp and grits were just delicious. You have to try the crab cakes. They are purely divine. Then went back for brunch. Was blown away once more. And let’s not forget the service. Always smiling and so ready to guide you through the menu. My two experiences were more than enjoyable. Will definitely go back. It’s a bit pricey but I don’t mind paying the price when it’s this delicious.
