We were disappointed they no longer serve the hot bread with lunch. Also my dad ordered the salad with goat cheese of which there was about a thimble. The hot sandwich was nothing special. The scallops were excellent as always but we couldn’t help but feel that things are. Or what they used to be here.
Restaurant was great.
Open table did not represent the available seatings accurately. I had to call to make the appropriate reservation time. This has happened before with the Open Table App. I’m not sure why this happens but it could cause a patron to not go to the restaurant thinking there was no seating at the requested time.
Each time I go Bristro Niko I continue to like it more and more. Great location, great for date night, great for any occasion. Great vibe and lots of energy. It will continue to be at the top of my list. Each staff person I meet there goes out of their way to make sure everything is good.
this one has to be high on your list to experience.
A little too loud. Beet salad was unremarkable.
Not as good as it has been in the past.
Excellent food and service. Our waiter Chris was spot on with his recommendations as well as his attention to detail. Seafood tartine was a very pleasant surprise.
Bistro Niko is an french cuisine at its finest. This place never disappoints.
Food was excellent, and all of our guests enjoyed everything.
We have never had a bad meal at Bistro Niko. The staff is friendly and accomodating. The food is always delicious. I had my favorite Salade Nicoise the fingerling potatoes and the mustard vinagrette were perfect. My husband had the smoked salmon pizza and enjoyed every bite. They have a wonderful selections of wines and cocktails. The ambiance is great! During our visit last Saturday, all I could see out the front windows from our seats was the breeze playing with the trees. I felt like we were out in the country! Definitely take the time to visit, you won't regret it.
Bistro Niko is a very nice restaurant with authentic French provincial dishes. I have eaten there at both lunch and dinner. The only issue I have is that if the restaurant is crowded, it's very loud and hard to have a conversation if you have a group of people. If you are having a business dinner or group where you want to have a decent conversation, I recommend requesting a table in the smaller room near the Maitre d' stand.
Very good classic french cuisine. The service was excellent and the restaurant is beautiful.
I love Bistro Niko. This is one of my and my wife’s favorite restaurants. The food is always great and the service attentive and friendly.
I love you guys!
Always great! Had the best 30th birthday with family and friends. Fantastic Service
Service and attention to our table was virtually non-existent for
almost 15 minutes. I got attention of Mgr., and things were better.
Server misunderstood two orders and advised it would be 30
minutes for preparation, we followed up and got him on track.
Brunch out of town guests
Great experience, accommodating friendly staff. Sunny provided excellent service with a fantastic attitude and a bright smile. The only suggestion is to “gate” the patio to keep the homeless from wandering in to pander for handouts. It’s not a big deal as we had a little fun with our intruder, but it’s obvious this was not his first time and was comfortable with sitting down at an empty table asking for some food. Oh well it’s the life of the city.....
Food and service were amazing! It was just really hard to hear or carry on a conversation from the noise. I won't go back on a date night, but a night with some friends or if you have the kids with you, this place is fine. It was surprisingly cheaper than I thought it would have been as well.
Wonderful experience, as usual. From lunch with a friend to a special occasion for 8 I have always loved Bistro Niko. It is a big open beautiful festive dining room. The food is very good French Bistro cuisine, excellent Country French but approachable not cutting edge. Lots of French dishes; Bouillabaisse, Coq au vin, Cassoulet, etc. I have each of these and any of them is worth the visit to Buckhead.
I have gone with children and teenagers, as well as "Foodie Snobs" and all have had a good experience. Appropriate wine list, bistro not fine steak house length
One of our favorites.
This was our first visit to this restaraunt for the wife and I. The service was impeccable and the food was spot on. We had the crab cake that was a different variation to what we were used to, but it was exceptional. My wife had the salmon and I had the tenderloin. Both were exceptional. We will rerurn.
Fabulous restuarant
The food was amazingly delicious, but the service was terrible! Extremely slow. Plates and glasses were dirty, no refills. The portions were also very small so the value was not great, but if you are prepared for a very slow experience with a small amount of food, may be worth it for the great tasting food.
Victor was a great waiter and helped us maneuver the many great choices on the menu
EXCELLENT!!!
Best Duck Confit in town, better than in Paris based off my experience
Amazing food with amazing service!!! Excellent wine list as well. Save room for dessert!!
Have been there a few times over the years. Enjoyed a very nice dinner with my wife.
Really good - was there early and the place is lovely. Wonderful French dishes - best mussels I’ve had in a long time. The escargot were a bit heavily sauced but still were quite good, and the apple tart was awesome. Will be back.
One of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta. Food is outstanding.
It was absolutely wonderful!
My husband and I came to Bistro Niko for our 4 year anniversary and everything was impeccable from the ambiance to the service and food quality!
Hubs had the special of the night which was a monkfish and love it. I had the Coq Au Vin; super delicious. They brought out a complimentary dessert for our anniversary and it was the perfect way to end the meal.
We will be back again and again I'm sure.
Went this past Saturday night. The restaurant is in the heart of Buckhead near the Financial Center. We had the Shrimp and Oyster Florentine to start. Wine list was extensive and our waiter gave us some great suggestions. My spouse had the special Haddock and I had the lamb chops. Both were prepared perfectly. We finished the meal with the Flourless Chocolate Cake which was wonderful. The restaurant was busy so this created an energetic atmosphere so this would not be suitable for a quiet romantic dinner. We would definitely go back.
Excellent food and service. Very impressive A++++
We celebrated my husband's birthday - the meal was wonderful, Cheryl took great care of us! Would recommend this restaurant to everyone!
Excellent food, service and overall experience. We Started with the salmon tarte which is always amazing and great for sharing. We then moved on to the monk fish and ratatouille which was delicious. My better half had the skate fish which was equally delicious. We finished dinner with fantastic chocolate martinis and profiteroles which were a perfect dinner ending to a perfect meal. Out waiter Joe was very attentive to out needs and made us feel relaxed and welcome.
Consistently wonderful! Does get pretty noisy, but we just talk loader. Service always impecable!
Perfect evening on the patio. Food was outstanding, the Belon oysters were MAGNIFICENT! We ordered a second batch! It can be loud inside however outside on the patio it was PERFECT.
Dinner was great! Strange that our waiter had to come back 2 if not 3 times to verify what each of us had ordered!! There were only 4 in our party... A little surprised at this situation at a restaurant of this caliber.
Bistro Niko is one of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta. I tend to book it for special occasions because it has never disappointed me. This restaurant does seem to assume that patrons desire a leisurely meal so if you have to get somewhere please tell your server. The service is attentive and helpful. My server knew the wine list very well as in this vineyard is 60 yards away from this vineyard so the two wines are quite similar. His suggested pairings were perfect. The Scallops St. Jacques was very good, served with asparagus on a bed of mashed potatoes. It was paired with Pouilly Fuisse, which was an excellent choice. My husband had the Minced Veal Roulade which was also excellent. I enjoyed the caramel ice cream for dessert. The atmosphere is upscale French but not fussy. The prices are very good especially considering the excellence of the food, wine, and atmosphere.
My wife and I enjoy dining at Bistro Niko. Our waiter, James is outstanding! Very professional, yet extremely affable. Bistro Niko is one of our favorite dining spots in Atlanta.
