A wonderful place to celebrate a birthday or just to enjoy a great meal. They even wrote the birthday person's name in chocolate on the dessert platter.
The maître d’ was very friendly. We were first introduced to the waiter, Joseph and his assistant Damien. It’s always fun to be in a classy restaurant. But we were a little disappointed because another table that sat down about 15 minutes after us was served first. Joseph did apologize for the wait. Damon was super attentive. I had the Seabass which didn’t have much flavor but was a large portion. My husband had the Crab lump soup which he said was absolutely amazing. We did get a pre-appetizer salad from the chefs creation, I could’ve had a bowl of that that was super good. I highly recommend this restaurant but would add to request some lemon for your fish.
Experience was wonderful. Server was professional. Food was delicious and priced well.
nothing more to add here...................................
Excellent meal, service, ambience. Our waiter Sherwin was fantastic ~ helped with menu, gave great suggestions & service. The food and drinks are always wonderful.
Overall nice and a happy place. The noise level was a little high. Waiter were attentive. Surroundings pretty.
The waiter was excellent and his assistance was very good as well. Very impressed with food and service. Needed a wheelchair due to being handicapped to get back to my car and everyone was very positive and helpful.
Our favorite restaurant. Sherwin was our server and he was the bomb.
The restaurant was quite busy for a Tuesday evening! Pretty noisy. Service was good but slow, probably because the kitchen was overloaded. People obviously want to get out after Covid!
outstanding meal. nice ambiance, excellent food and outstanding service. our waiter Kamel was very professional, thorough, and attentive. best cioppino my wife had ever eaten and my seafood fetuccini was delicious and loaded with seafood. tuna tower was an awesome appetizer and cheesecake was very good.
It is always a joy to eat at Bistro Napa. I go there about 6 times a year and have had a great experience every single time. Great food and wonderful service.
One of the best restaurants in town. Always consistent, hot and delicious!
Another outstanding dinner at Napa Bistro! Christian, Mark and their teams are outstanding.... stands out more with most places having pandemic service issues.
Food was delicious. The short rib melted in your mouth. The filet was so tender and juicy. We enjoyed the atmosphere. It’s a little pricey but we rarely get out, so it was worth it to us.
Our servers Susan and Erick were great! Made our birthday/anniversary special. Will return next time we come back on vacation.
We celebrated our anniversary and the friendly, attentive and helpful wait staff made it very enjoyable, including complimentary strawberry shortcake with a chocolate happy anniversary message written on the plate!
We especially ordered prime rib, one of the most expensive entrees on the menu. It was tough, and definite not up to defining prime beef. The rest of the meal was very nice.
Two birthdays to celebrate. Service was great!!!!
Delicious food, superb service, and a wonderful ambiance.
There lump crab chowder was amazing! Well worth the price.
The good and service was impeccable. We went to enjoy an anniversary dinner and it did not disappoint. Their wine recommendations to pair with dinner were amazing.
From the moment we walked to the host stand until we left the restaurant, we had an incredible experience. The wait staff was prompt & continually checked on us. The food was absolutely amazing. My filet was cooked perfectly and my husband's prime rib was one of the best he's had. We were celebrating our 25th anniversary and were treated to a lovely strawberry cake. The icing on the "cake" was as we were leaving the restaurant, the chef thank US from coming in for dinner. Top notch!!!
Fillet and Lobster was delicious, good wine and cheese cake with blue berries and strawberries for dessert. Service was excellent.
We have been to Bistro Napa several times and have always been quite pleased with both the service and the food. This time, not so much. While the ambiance and service remained excellent, I was disappointed with my dinner. I ordered the 14 oz. Prime Rib. While it was definitely big enough and was properly cooked (medium rare), it had absolutely NO TASTE. Really. It was almost completely flavorless. I like prime rib and have enjoyed it here and at the Atlantis Steak House. This time it was very disappointing. In fact, I have had better prime rib at neighborhood casinos for $12.95!
One of the best meals I have ever had in Reno and worth the value
The service was excellent. The staff was very friendly and our waiter was excellent with recommendations and knowing the menu very well. My only complaint about the experience would have to be the short ribs that my family ordered. The ribs was cooked well but the seasoning and sauce was very salty. The meat was overly salty and the mashed potatoes underneath did not help balance out the flavor. Those that ordered the dish were only able to eat about half. Other than that, wonderful experience.
Always a beautiful and relaxing setting, excellent service and a delicious meal. The crab cakes and sea bass are always a favorite, but my husband tried the Rib Eye Steak special and it was very tasty. Thank you again for a wonderful dining experience!
A beautiful restaurant. Service impeccable. Unfortunately my meal was mediocre. Started with prawn cocktail and crab cakes. Prawns were good except one was not cleaned very well. Crab cakes very good. I had filet and crab legs for $120. For that price it should have been much better! The crab was literally tasteless. even dipped in butter. I had to send back the filet because it was raw inside, no exaggeration. Same filet was cooked more and was returned and it was tasty. My partner had the sea bass and that was scrumptious! The bread served with meal was also excellent. Guess I just ordered the wrong thing. I was comped two glasses of wine in reparation Would I go again? Maybe, and order fish. But only if the Atlantis steakhouse was sold out like this particular evening.
Our first time here and it was wonderful. Food was great and reasonably priced. We will be back!
The service, food, and ambiance were all excellent! We’ll definitely return and recommend.
The Bistro was quite crowded for a Tuesday night. Most likely because everybody has been cooped up for a year. I started with an artichoke wedge salad which was crisp with a refreshing dressing. I had the braised lamb shank and it was done to perfection, tender meat and a crisp exterior. The dessert ( I can't remember the name) sautéed bananas with gelato, whipped cream and fruits was quite a presentation. Enough for two. I was tempted to order the pink cotton candy that I saw being carried by waiters. It reminded me of the country fairs I attended years ago. Single glass wine was very good with an ample pour. Prices for food and wine were certainly not the loss leaders that once were used to attract people to the casino but were at levels one would expect in a fine dining restaurant.
Great food and even better service. I highly recommend Bistro Napa.
The food was not great : extremely salty lobster bathing in salty butter, very chewy and tough. the food in general at Atlantis is very salty especially the dressings in general. I couldn't touch the salad because of the saltiness of the ranch dressing. When I complained I was told that the dressings is brought in bulk and they have no way to change it. Not a very satisfying answer definitely.
We were celebrating my moms birthday. The staff was so kind and generous and worked hard to find a drink my mom liked. We shared many laughs with the staff! Thank you for an amazing experience!!
Anniversary, the butternut spuadh ravioli is a must!!!
Possibly the premier restaurant Reno has to offer. Fabulous beginning to end. Get reservations, you'll not be disappointed.
Fantastic did and service! Matthew was attentive and a great server.
Where do you mark a special occasion, like your 31st Anniversary? For us, it’s always Bistro Napa. From seating to wine selection (thank you Christian) to excellent service and of course, a lovely meal. It was all topped off with small slice of cake with Happy Anniversary written across the plate in chocolate, perfection. Thank you Bistro Napa for making our Anniversary a memorable one!
We have never had a bad meal in any of the restaurants at the Atlantis, especially the Bistro Napa happy hour and main Bistro restaurant. Atlantis is #1 in all aspects of service.
The service and food have gone down since we stating visiting 7 years ago. My steak was over well done when I ordered M-MW, my wife's steak was MW when she ordered MR, and my mother-in-law's steak was Well done when she ordered Rare. All in all the food was poor.
