Very tentative service! The entire staff helped make our honeymoon a special event while dining with them. The big pluses were the sunset views and delicious food!
They were just too busy. Did not get what I ordered. Waiter said it wasn’t his fault because he placed my order as I had described and it was the kitchens fault. I also opened and poured our wine.
The issue was that the gratuity was automatic as we were with a large party. They didn’t have to work for it.
Yummy. But too loud. Felt like a nightclub.
This is the second time and it's just as good. Miss Karen was our server again and she's still pleasant and helpful. Appetizers-- ahi poke and chips(good size bowl enough for 2 people) and crab cakes(2 pieces) very tasty. Hangar steak medium rare/ greens/pesto and potatoes with garlic--- delicious. My wife had the pork ribs pizza with pineapples. It was so good the first time she ordered it again. Several slices need the to go box to reserve room for dessert....Trifle(chocolate pearls, whipped cream, macadamia bits, layered) light yet satisfying. My wife had the Alaskan Bistro. She couldn't finish it not because it wasn't good, but she was tooooo full! Thank you again Bistro Molokini! We'll be back!
Nice alternative to Humhumu (adjacent restaurant). Resort pricing- food was tasty, ambience and service ourstanding
Service and food good, server very helpful
We enjoyed our meal and our server Genevieve was grear
prices are the same as Dukes & Ilanians. but the food quality & presentation didn't compare. Hamburger was thick but didn't even cover bun. fish sandwich- piece of fish was thick but fell out of bun on first bite, not enough to even be a sandwich. get server but probably won't eat there next time
We had salads with fresh fish and they were delicious. I loved the ocean sunset view
Great food and great service. Poke nachos are the best on the island. The hibiscus margarita is my new favorite. ❤️ Mu husband ordered the roasted chicken and loved it. I got the fish tacos which were good too.
The crab cakes are excellent, enough for two as an appetizer. The scallops with clam's were very nice. Very nice wine selection by the glass. Server was excellent.
Our waitress was very helpful and attentive
It was an accident , but I am vegan, I ordered a vegan wrap, and there were two strips of bacon in my wrap. I discovered it with my first bite. They apologized, made a new one, didn’t charge us for the wrap.
Dinner was quite late being served and cold. The appetizers (crab cakes) were good, but dinner itself was not.
Great food. We had the fresh catch of the day. Very yummy and tender. Great service. Beautiful views!
Excelente comida, pasta y mariscos, pocke Nachos son deliciosos.
Do not go there. Food is not good, for instance, fish tacos are soggy by the time they are served. Service is bad, we get our entrees while still finishing appetizers. Drinks are worthy of a dive bar. On top of that, they broadcast football and you get drunk people yelling every few minutes.
beautiful island ambience, friendly and energetic service staff. Food was good.
Excellent food. Excellent service. I go there for the Poke Nachos. We had a table for 5 and everyone enjoyed their meal.
Nice views, relaxed atmosphere.
The fish tacos were flavorless. The kula pork pizza had no flavor or toppings. Basically bread. However the crab cakes were delicious and well presented. Location was open airy.
Nice place with good food and service. Thank goodness for a 15% kamaina which also made it an excellent value.
Great sunset view and nice waitstaff, but food is mediocre at best and prices are high, though what isn’t in Wailea...
Great family spot.
Serving raw burgers to children. Server was sarcastic and did not care. Won’t be back.
About as good as it gets. From easy and free valet parking, to a delightful walk to the restaurant. Very friendly staff, easy menu, well executed, all against the backdrop of the sea. You hate to leave at the end.
The shrimp pasta had shell shrapnel throughout, the sauce was weak, watery and there was too much. It was basically spaghetti soup. The shrimps were too tough to cut with the butter knives they gave us and finally the tacos were soggy and the fish in them overcooked. Overall this would have been a bad meal at McDonald's but was a shocking experience coming from such a highly rated resort. One more thing! I had to get up from our table and ask the busboy to find our waiter to pay our bill.
We ordered the pre fixe Thanksgiving meal. The food tasted okay, but it appeared to be thrown into the plate, just unappealing piles of mushy food.
Poor service and food was ok. Not great for a dinner ...
So Good, We Ate Here 2 Nights in-a-row! Very good bar/restaurant choice located between pools and ocean beach (with sunset view)! My wife and I purposely chose different food and beverage choices each night, and everything we chose was excellent! For the convenience of being right at Grand Wailea Resort (and within the expensive reality that is “Maui”); this place is hard to beat!!
Perfect. Our server was exceptional. Will return again. Mahalo.
Waitress only came 3 times throughout the night and it was not an overly busy evening. The fish tacos were great however the shrimp sandwich my husband order was not great.
This is a great place to catch the sunset and the food is outstanding. 👍👍👍👍👍
Food was great. They did mess up on one of our meals that had allergic exception. They fixed it and comped it.
We try to visit bistro Molokini at least once a month either for their poke nachos, fish sandwich, crabcakes, or any new addition to their menu. Enjoy the friendly bar staff and delicious cocktails. I’ll be back soon for more tasty snacks and personable service.
Casual dining. Fish of the day & Tuna nachos excellent and 6 children all happy with Keiki dishes
Waitress asked my wife is it your birthday? My wife says YES! Waitress then turns around and leaves... doesn’t say Happy Birthday. We think a complimentary dessert may be coming.. at the end of dinner waitress brings the dessert menu. My wife asks if she’s getting a birthday dessert? Waitress says no. We wouldn’t have asked or expected anything except for the waitress bringing it up when we were seated. Overall experience was good except for the slow disingenuous service.
The view is lovely!! We all had something different and it was all very very good. Our waiter was really nice and efficient. It's a great place for lunch as well.
On our honeymoon
Tried as part of our stay at Grand Wailea
