Food was great. They did mess up on one of our meals that had allergic exception. They fixed it and comped it.
We try to visit bistro Molokini at least once a month either for their poke nachos, fish sandwich, crabcakes, or any new addition to their menu. Enjoy the friendly bar staff and delicious cocktails. I’ll be back soon for more tasty snacks and personable service.
Casual dining. Fish of the day & Tuna nachos excellent and 6 children all happy with Keiki dishes
Waitress asked my wife is it your birthday? My wife says YES! Waitress then turns around and leaves... doesn’t say Happy Birthday. We think a complimentary dessert may be coming.. at the end of dinner waitress brings the dessert menu. My wife asks if she’s getting a birthday dessert? Waitress says no. We wouldn’t have asked or expected anything except for the waitress bringing it up when we were seated. Overall experience was good except for the slow disingenuous service.
The view is lovely!! We all had something different and it was all very very good. Our waiter was really nice and efficient. It's a great place for lunch as well.
On our honeymoon
Tried as part of our stay at Grand Wailea
Probably the best « standard » restaurant of the resort
We went here for my moms Birthday, the food and appetizers Were very good. Although they got my moms order wrong, the waiter was very nice and paid for our dessert. Overall the experience and food were great.
Everything was perfect!
Miss Karen was very accommodating and thoughtful. The servers helping her were also very nice and welcoming. The food was delicious and the servings were a good size for the price. The views were quite nice of course especially the sunset.
While the views were picturesque, sitting by the ocean, the food was very sub par and over priced. We were expecting more out of a Waldorf property .
Wonderful. Very appropriate for the kids, are early.
My lobster pasta was my favourite dinner in Maui by far! My husband was missing some starch with his fish. He was hungry after fresh fish and ratatouille. My daughters burger was a bit over cooked and dry. A bit noisy of a restaurant but then again they have TVs on the wall so you get it all with a gorgeous view of the ocean. Delicious wine! Great service...but a bit slow with dessert and the bill. Overall...good place on resort!
Third time eating at this restaurant in Maui and it was amazing as usual. With a table of 10 we ordered an assortment of appetizers, entrées, and pizzas. They use only the freshest ingredients and the service was outstanding!
View was great, food was ok. Menu is not large and they were out of one of the items we ordered. Pork chops were edible but not worth sharing about.
Fantastic all around.
Burger was dry. Lobster smelled bad
The food was fantastic!
Amazing view of Sunset. Food was delicious. Relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
A very nice restaurant at a hotel. Nice change.
Beautiful views great service lovely good - lower key than other places -but prices still in par with the rest of the neighborhood:)
Beautiful view of ocean but our table was blocked by the bar so not much view. Very overpriced
This is our favorite place in Wailea. Superior service (water glass never reached empty!); excellent food and drinks for adults and kids. It is not cheap, but unlike many of the other resorts which charge the same, you feel like you get something for the money here.
Average food that’s WAY overpriced. If you’re looking for local flair or anything even remotely interesting, don’t bother here. Standard American menu. Deep fried, cream/grease heavy food choices. Save your money and go to Humu Humu!
Food was good. Banana split for 2 was excellent. Views of ocean were nice. Overall very good. Table service was a little choppy, but other factors made everything enjoyable.
The Service was great and the Baked Alaska is the best!
i reaally nlike the grand wailea and have eaten here before but this time the food wasnt good, we went for happy hour ( 4 of us) mybhusband got th etomatoe and goat chees salad and it litterslly was a plate of haleved mini tomatoes with a couple pieces of goat cheese,
the happy hour menu was more of a sad hour menu withnonly a couple drinks and 4 appetizers
my friend got the fried calamari and it needed to be deep fried a little longer and i got the fried chicken sanwich which was over done
will not go back to this place
Married to my hero, mother of three, successful entrepreneur currently running two thriving businesses. We live in the beautiful PNE. I enjoy all activities with my family who loves to travel and dine world wide.
It was unfortunately a let down. The food was bland and the service was lacking. For over $300 USD we expected more. Great ocean views at sunset.
We have already recommended Bistro Molokini to others who are frequent travelers to Maui.
First night at the hotel and wanted something light. We split the tuna poke which was the best I have ever had. My wife had the clams combination and enjoyed it very much as I had the butter lettuce salad which was very good
Loved the music and ambiance. Our fish entree was very good. The pizza had a smoky flavor that I didn’t like and the baked Alaska dessert was mediocre. Will skip eating here next visit.
Lackluster at best. We’ve come here about once a year and this is probably the most bland, most pricey, and limited menu there’s been. The calamari was bland and had a sweet jam to go with which was too heavy for the little delicate calamari, the romaine salad was just fine, and the pork chop was dry/bland and I couldn’t understand the bean purée underneath. And this comes from a person that puts minimal if no salt on things. If you want the view come and have the banana split for two for dessert.
I wish they’d have just yummy food with a normal menu - like burgers, fish and chips. Grand Wailea is missing a “coffee shop” type restaurant.
The crispy chicken was very bad but my server Karen was so good I didn’t complain but I won’t order the crispy chicken ever again.
Good variety on menu. Great views. Good food and excellent service.
Great atmosphere and great service. Food was decent, not bad just not the best. Will definitely go back since the rest of the experience was so good.
We could tell at the sight of the menu that there was a new chef in town. Nothing jumped out at us. We went with the steaks, which were okay but not great. Our daughter ordered her usual scallops, and it was a plate noticeably devoid of any greens or starches or even garnishes...just some unevenly browned scallops piled with clams and resting on a ton of sauce. The days of the Bistro Molokini corn succotash have unfortunately passed. We will most likely be trying new restaurants rather than Bistro Molokini in the future.
Great food. Great experience!
