The eclectic menu boasts such delights as ; U.S.D.A. prime steaks, homemade pastas and the freshest seasonal seafood including colossal stone crab claws. Each and every dessert is made on the premise. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and the seasoned service staff will make you know that you belong.
Food was good but nothing special. Excellent service, nice ambience a bit pricey for the quality of food.
Great evening at Bistro Messaluna!! From the moment we arrived, everyone was accommodating and wonderful. We requested a booth and asked to be seated in Phil's area--no problem was the response and they made it happen. Phil, our waiter was beyond fabulous--he was attentive, informative, personable and made several great recommendations. Mezzaluna has an extensive and amazing wine list. Dinner was delish-- At our table we had for starters a Caesar salad, pear salad and the wedge salad-- they were all perfect with lots of "stuff" on them and the perfect amount of dressing. The main courses included chicken Parm (which wasn't on the menu, but Phil said that they would happily prepare whatever we wanted), the yellowtail snapper with crabmeat (sauted spinach and broccoli was substituted for the mashed potates and whatever veggie was on the menu), salmon with a mustard sauce (which Phil recommended rather than the grilled salmon on the menu) and meatballs. The portions were ample to large (meatballs and chicken parm doggie bags went home) and each dish was perfectly prepared, beautifully plated/presented and truly enjoyed. The special dessert of molten chocolate cake with coffee chip ice cream and whipped cream was shared/devoured by all along with coffee/espresso, etc. We had not been to Bistro Mezzaluna for quite some time and we all agreed that that had been a mistake or an oversight-- we will be back soon!!
Excellent in every way but very expensive- quiet is a big plus!
An excellent way to celebrate my birthday - great food, wonderful service and the special summer season menu. The same portions and quality you'd expect from this kitchen but on a prix fixe menu ($35) with price reductions on some very nice wines. We don't dine here as often as we'd like because the regular menu, as good as it is, is also rather pricey. And Hector, our waiter, was a gem; personable, efficient, and knowledgeable. We'll go back soon to take advantage of their largesse.
Great food always good no surprises we always come back with my group today small group only 12
Fabulous as always. Robert is an awesome waiter
The new summer menu is a true bargain. It's 3 courses, with 4 choices in the appetizers and main entrees and 2 desserts. Portions are not small and the food is excellent along with the servers.
Alfredo sauce a little bland. Drinks were great! Find your happy hour dishes better than the restaurant menu. The others in my party of 8 found the food great. But they have never had the happy hour food...
Also, u have a special of 3 courses for 30 or 35... my party of 8 were never shown that. We found out because that menu was given by accident, instead of the dessert menu. I think that's pretty sneaky.
Everything was excellent love the atmosphere love the piano bar. Great place we will be back soon.
Been there many times. One of my favorite restaurants with great food, service, ambiance,
And great entertainment too!
The food is always consistently perfect at Bistro Mezzaluna.
Amazing food and service! The bartender was Bobby and was a pleasure to talk to before getting our table. Waz the server was the best! Highly recommend!
It was my birthday and I had a great dinner with my family.
Their food is just the best. Every time we go.
The service outstanding, the food was cooked to perfection, hector was very professional very informative and funny we loved our experience especially since this was our first visit here, will definite return.
Everything, from my Espresso Martini thru our entrees and our chocolate soufflé, was perfect. We were greeted cheerfully at the front door and was immediately seated at the booth we requested. Our server was excellent as well. We have dined at Bistro Mezzuluna many times and have yet to be disappointed.
Waz was great as always. Food is still the best in South Florida
Service was excellent. Lamb cutlets were excellent. My guests and I were well pleased.
Consistent quality food and service. Comparable to Capital Grille for a business luncheon but independently owned. Professionally managed ala Ritz level training for both management and kitchen.
Great Fathers Day dinner. We had thee best waiter in the entire place, and our busboy looked like Andre3000 so it was a double score!
I go to Bistro Mezzaluna regularly and have never had a bad experience. The food is always excellent from prime steaks to fresh seafood, and the service is impeccable! I highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a quality experience, and are willing to pay a reasonable price to get it.
great dining experience, but a little rushed for not being that busy
The best pasta I've ever had!! So much flavor and not dry at all! The drinks were great as well! amazing service. Even if they did not have what you wanted on teh menu they still asked you to suggest it and they would make it happen.
Excellent as always. Very well kept secret for the area. Top notch quality and Top notch service.
We have been here often - always excellent- great wine list!!
Food and the service ("Was"was our waiter) were both great. Can't wait to go again.
Bobby our server was very good. Entrees, apps and salads were excellent. Desserts were subpar and over priced. My apple pie was mushy, had little flavor and was $14. Go for the food and service but get dessert on the way home.
Soups and salads ordered were good. Pasta ordered was ok. Lobster and shrimp scampi was over seasoned and fish over cooked. When we complained about the scampi the waiter gave the friend a dessert. Would nit go back there. Was so noisy also.
Best food! Best ambiance! Best service! Ask for Hector!
It was a Birthday dinner for my wife, and i mentioned it in my reservation and to our waiter, no special recognition or cake. My prime rib was not cooked well and very overpriced. Not good for a birthday celebration
Service and food was phenomenal. Love going there.
Fantastic cuisine and service served in a very attractive restaurant
Waitress completely walked off an ignored us to serve another older group who came in much later than us. My margarita pizza had literally 1 leaf of basil on it. Over priced for the food and service.
Very disappointed & I almost got up and left without ordering.
I'm sorry to here that you had a bad experience on May 4th. I do feel that possibly you have reviewed Bistro Mezzaluna in error. I say this because We do not serve Pizza of any kind. Also on the 4th we did not have any female servers on shift.
Always on our list when we are in Fort Lauderdale. Consistent across the board!
Enjoyed the food. Our server provided excellent service. You could feel the level of experience 😃
Dinner was exceptional! Our waiter, Todd, was awesome. Our meals were amazing. The Sea Bass the best we have ever eaten.
Salmon over cooked and Lamb not flavorful best ceasar salad in a long time stone crab dip not to my liking. Excellent waiter though.
Visited for a birthday, parking was a breeze, the food was exceptional, the service was great and the desserts were exquisite! Will return
I have recommended Mezaluna to many!
Best place in town not only for dinner but also happy hour.
Very friendly waiter from Columbia-he's the best.
Our favorite in Ft Lauderdale for stonecrabs, steaks, chops, and Pasta, always great.
We enjoyed (or shallI I say devoured) everything; from my amazing Espresso Martini to the “to die for” Chocolate Soufflé.
