One of our favorite Saturday night spots!
Delicious as always!
We always enjoy our meals here.
I thought it was a wonderful classic French bistro. The profiteroles were absolutely to die for
Good food and friendly staff
Always a great place. Food is delicious, and the staff are friendly. I missed coming here!
Everything was personal and special. Wonderful food. Will definitely be back.
Wonderful food and service.
I have been coming here for years and it’s always such a nice dining experience. Wonderful service and excellent food.
Our favorite restaurant in NYC. The wonderful food and ambience is only surpassed by the cordial hospitable professional staff and management.
The service was incredible, and the food was great! Get the Escargots in puff pastry. You will not regret it. I wish we had room for dessert but two appetizers and entrees were quite filling.
Forever wonderful and outdoor dining made it feel more European than ever!
Lovely dinner outside. Food and service were excellent. A bit noisy from truck and car traffic on the way to the Holland Tunnel! We loved it, regardless.
Nice to see restaurants coming back to life and busy...nice food and service experience overall. Onion and cheese tart very tasty. Pomme Frittes delicious. Duck main exactly what I had hoped.
I stumbled across this quaint little place in Soho and fell in love with it! I went about 5 different times in my 2.5-week stay. A lovely little French bistro with absolutely delicious food. Their gnocchi, which says "fried," is one of the best gnocchi I've ever had. It has a very creamy pesto sauce and doesn't taste or look fried and doesn't have a batter on it, so don't be scared of it. You can tell they must pan sear it or something, but you wouldn't know if the name weren't such. The seared foie gras was delicious, as well. I'm not a big bread fan, but the bread was very good, too. The waiter Alex was great, as well! He has good service but doesn't bother you a lot. They have lots of outdoor seating, too, which is great during this time.
A SOHO classic, great food, service and beautiful outdoor seating. One of my NYC favorites, pandemic or not!
Fantastic meal and the price for the quality is beyond amazing!
The lobster grilled cheese sandwich was recommended by another reviewer. It was just OK.
Always wonderful, now sadly closed. I hope they make it through this terrible time!
Love Bistro les Amis - Atmosphere, staff, drinks, service food all great. Cassoulet is top notch. Lobster Grilled Cheese is delicious!
authentic bistro: charming atmosphere; quick delivery of excellent cocktails; typical bistro fare: well-prepared, attractive presentation, not to mention delicious. definitely a return to restaurant.
A FAVORITE SPOT. iN OVER 16 YEARS WE HAVE NEVER HAD A BAD MEAL. THE ONION SOUP IS GREAT AS ARE THE MUSSELS. OSSO BUCCO IS ALWAYS GOOD.
wAIT STAFF IS COURTEOUS AND ATTENTIVE.A WONDERFUL RESTAURANT
We are locals and love this neighborhood gem.
we used Yelp and Open Table to find this lovely restaurant and it lived up to the reviews. We were running late (constuction in NY!) and called and they were very understanding. I had requested a qiet location when I made the reservation and they had 2 choices for us- both perfect. the staff couldnt have been any nicer- really lovely with just the right amount of attention. The menu is extensive- lots of choice and good price points. we ordered wine by the glass and some call brand drinks. bar choices were good with some specialty cocktails. food was wonderful- between us we had trout, chicken, tuna and beef and we all indulged on fabulous French onion soup. at the end of the meal, our waited didnt rush us at all and quietly brought out ice cream with a candle for our birthday guest who appreciated that there wasnt any singing, we will come back to this gem
We had a wonderful time at Bistro Les Amis! Our server was attentive and friendly and the food was great. Definitely would come back.
The food is delicious. It is a comfortable and welcoming restaurant with appropriate prices and offerings. It is what my restaurants were always supposed to be
A local favorite!
Truly an excellent experience. I’m only upset for one reason - I’ve lived a short walk away from here for all of a decade and only just now “discovered” it. We will be frequent visitors from this moment on.
We had an unfortunate 45 minute wait for our reserved table. They clearly overbooked that night. The hostess was a frantic which didn’t put us in a relaxed mindset. Fortunately, Once seated, our waiter was a pro and put us at ease. He was calm and attentive. Wine list was surprisingly limited. Food was above average and once seated we had a very nice meal.
The staff was so nice and considerate. Not sure if he was an owner or manager but he had grey hair and a black sweater, he was really funny and very very nice. Everything was great from the food to the hospitality. I will be back
Luv the atmosphere perfect for a nice quite romantic dinner. We had the risotto with mushrooms and pesto it was delicious and great wine selection
We are always treated like celebrities!
Always so warm & welcoming.
One of our favorite places!
We booked a table following a business event. The group did not know each other well, and the restaurant provided a fine venue to enjoy getting acquainted while enjoying a wide selection of well-prepared dishes. Servings were generous, and the wait staff was attentive and wanted to make sure we had a good time. It’s a nice find in SoHo.
+Food was outstanding.+ -Service was attentive but slow. After waiting 30-35 minutes for our appetizers/first course, the server tried to explain that “everyone walked in at the same time...”- +great wine list. *+Desserts were scrumptious!+ -Cramped seating.-
Would definitely go back!
I have reviewed this restaurant before. This is such a lovely place to spend an evening enjoying friends, family, food, and drink. Just try it once, and you'll be hooked forever.
Great atmosphere, service and ambience. We will always come back.
The most welcoming, consistently very good restaurant. Never anything but really good, and the staff is always glad to see you. True pro's.
Best French restaurant for the money, period.
Lovely dinner. Went with friends. All 4 of us enjoyed dinner.
Lovely little French boite to try a variety of dishes, well prepared. Low key. Try it. . . you'll like it!
Always a perfect meal and wonderful service
