Very pleasant experience. I will go back to this restaurant.
Great experience celebrating a friend’s birthday - would recommend
Our favorite restaurant in soho, always consistent food and efficient service. Lamb shank is perfectly cooked, onion soup without a doubt the best in NYC and our favorite the cassoulet. If you must have desserts either flan or blueberry crumble.
I wish the food has been better because everything else was first rate. My drink was a Gibson, not a gimlet. My spouse’s onion soup was bland and the creme brûlée was not vanilla enough. The service was delightful as was our wine but the total experience was meh because the food wasn’t as good as a New York French restaurant ought to be and can be.
Great atmosphere and wonderful staff. Everyone made us feel welcome and taken cared of. Food was excellent as well.
We wanted a low key - holiday and birthday dinner. We got that and more!
This is a charming place with attentive service. Thank you Bistro Les Amis!
What a lovely, intimate, friendly-vibe, unpretentious little spot. We always go when we’re in the neighborhood.
Excellent service and delicious food
Jam packed om a Friday night. Superb Cassoulet and Monkfish
Great time! Would go back again! Best French onion
Great original french restaurant that has a cozy ambiance. The cassoulet was amazing (more than enough for 2) as well as the mussels. Very friendly staff!
We enjoy returning to Bistro Les Amis every time we visit New York. We are always certain to have a lovely dinner and enjoy the evening.
A cozy, pleasant vibe with friendly service, very tasty food, comfortable, relaxed....our third time dining there and not disappointed.
Bistro Les Amis is a fun, local French restaurant with great energy and good food. As we were waiting for our table, our bartender could have been a little more welcoming and friendly, but once we sat down, the waitstaff was very accommodating and nice. All of the food was great, except for my steak frites. The steak was dry and not really edible. The French fries were outstanding. Everyone's else's meal was great. If you go, realize that it is very much of a "clique" place and you can tell there are regulars who are wary of newcomers. But, it is worth it. We'll be back.
We always are treated like family at Bistro Les Amis. Carla, Ben and the managers Debbie, Roy and Sayed are always gracious and amazing hosts. It’s our favorite neighborhood spot and serves great food, especially the onion soup which is the best I’ve ever had.
Wonderful as always. We keep coming back!
Wonderful experience at Bistro Les Amis. Met our son who was in town for work to celebrate his birthday. Did not tell staff we were celebrating a birthday but they figured it out and brought out a candle lit sorbet. Food was delicious, staff was attentive - would definitely go back.
Everyth8bg is always great at Bistro Les Amis. Delicious food and a great staff.
Great service from our waiter. Food was nom nom
Good food and we were treated well. Load and very close however
Great neighborhood bistro vibe with great service and thoughtful menu.
A great, classic French restaurant. Excellent food, service and ambiance. One of the few left in soho.
This is a reliable French restaurant with generally good food. The soup and the appetizers were excellent but the cow au vin was disappointing. The other entrees (duck and steak au poivre) were good. noise level excessive and the tables are bit cramped.
Bistro continues to be our favorite place. It has been consistently good for over 15 years.
Wonderful place, maintaining high standards in everything. A real pleasure to be there.
This is our second time at this very friendly very cute little French Bistro. It is quickly becoming a favorite of ours. The wait staff are all very friendly and make you feel at home and the owner greets you as you come and go. The decor is nice and the food is fresh and delicious. The menu is varied. There is a full bar and their drink specialties are worth trying. Prices are NYC average but not excessive. All in all a very pleasant, clean, relaxed French bistro with excellent food. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Our new favorite place, my teenage son wanted the poutine as an app, said it was good but missing chunks of beef.
Duck is amazing, highly recommend!
Escargot was perfect, outside of the crazy shells and tremendous amount.
Cocktails and wine are always perfect! If you Love Sancerre, I highly recommend!!!
Great food again , we will be back
A wonderful place to go to with great food friendly staff and in a very nice area.
Enjoyed everything. Quiet and civilized. Will definitely come back. Meal was delicious and service great.
Welcomed in to a crowded yet chill room. Enjoyed everything. Great dinner. Just charming.
Lovely little french bistro....great food. Will be back for sure!
Lovely experience and most attentive and professional service. Food was good overall. Oysters and starters excellent. We both had specials - goat cheese and tomato tart and a seasonal salad with Gorgonzola. Entrees were classics - Coq au Vin and Chicken Paillard. Solid dishes but a little dry and Paillard a bit salty. Classic flan for dessert, yum! Vine list is quite reasonable too any my husband had an excellent very dry martini.
Always a quality meal and great service
Great celebration for my daughter’s birthday.
Our first time here. We met cousins we hadn’t seen in a long time. It was hard to speak over the noise from a big party.
Everyone seemed to enjoy their food. The onion soup, mussels and my kale-quinoa salad were very good. The 2 pasta dishes were tasty (pappardelle and one with shrimp). I ordered the sesame -crusted tuna. There were NO seeds. The waiter took it back. The second fish hardly had any seeds. That is false advertising. I wasn’t happy with the dish at all.
Went to Bistro Les Amis on a recommendation and we were not disappointed. Food, service and ambiance were excellent. The only constructive feedback (meant with best intentions) I’d give is to update the bathroom...at the very least fix the faucet...the black tape is not working.
I always love the vegetable lasagna, delicious, but don't miss the seasonal specials always a treat.
