Enjoyed lunch here 2 days in a row. Great service, excellent food.
I've been skiing in Vail for awhile. If you don't ski, take the Gondola up and have a meal here. The views are amazing. While I understand everything is more expensive due to the logistics of getting it up the mountain, the prices here are even high for the mountain. That aside, great service and very good food plus the views make it a must visit.
Lovely experience eating on top of the mountain in middle of a long day of skiing and playing at adventure ridge. The food is just okay. Definitely do not order the chili. It lacked flavor and the consistency was more akin to a broth based soup than any chili I’ve ever had. The small desserts are really good and perfectly portioned.
We were pleasantly surprised to find such a fine restaurant on top of a mountain. We anticipated it to be more of a novelty than a well-kept fine dining secret! The Rocky Mountain trout was outstanding and prepared exquisitely. Service was impeccable. Highly recommended.
Vail for the weekend! Good food and atmosphere!
Great for families, friendly service. Wonderful views and gondola ride
Desserts were wonderful , beautiful views! Waitress was a measure to talk to. (Molly)
Perfect during a day on the slopes. Good food, great service, fair price...
Was expecting a little more upscale for the top of the mountain at Vail -
A little too casual - Service was GREAT and food was Good!
Great service and great food. If I had to make a recommendation it would be to turn up the heat a little. The men seemed comfortable, but the ladies we’re putting on their jackets. It seemed colder the closer you got to the windows. Excellent Dinner! I plan on going back on my next trip to Vail.
Food, desserts and service were very good. Fun ride up in the gondola at night.
several things happened. The service was very friendly but it took a very long time for our food to come.
I ordered a beet salad but it came without any beets. When I asked, the waiter went to get a beet salad and discovered that they were out of beets. He said he hadn't known and the order went in as a beet salad. They eventually brought a different kind of salad which was very good. As a result of all this the salad was comped and we had a discount, which was very nice.
This restaurant is in a beautiful location and has a nice alpine atmosphere.
Salads were ok, rest of the food was just meh.
The server was very friendly and accommodating,
but she wasn’t cooking the food, so.......
Good food, busy day on presidents weekend, line out the door. Make a reservation. Expensive food but killer view. Would eat again.
Great location crowded but fast service, everyone very pleasant!
Bistro 14 is a great place on top of Vail Mountain for great views and food. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the turkey pot pie. My trout and rice were okay. The asparagus was delicious.
The pastry chef at the restaurant is amazing. Save room for dessert. We shared 3 mini desserts for $12. Outstanding!
Wonderful for families to enjoy the beautiful mountains while eating a delicious dinner. The gondola ride up at 5pm was gorgeous and the evening ride down in the dark was amazing as we could see all the stars! Highly recommend this experience!
Beautiful gondola ride, great food, amazing service and fun atmosphere-a perfect place to celebrate my daughter’s 23rd birthday!
Overpriced mediocre food on top of a mountain with great views. Accounting for the $49-$209 per person per meal to account for lift ticket prices, my chicken sandwich cost $229... I've had better $229 chicken sandwiches...
Cindy our server was great but also tending to like 15 tables so everything took a long time.
This place is great for grabbing a long relaxing lunch on the mountain. It's not as expensive at The 10th but the food is just as good (and it's easier to get a reservation). The menu has had a couple changes in the last few years but nothing that's blown my socks off. It's a hair dated but that's easily fixed (hopefully soon).
Refueling after a great morning of skiing!
We were almost the only ones there on a Friday night. Service was fast. Food was average. Burgers were definitely a disappointment. BUT is was so much fun to take the gondola at night. It was a fun way to go to dinner on a beautiful night. We will go again.
Food is not that good for such an expensive price.
Amazing food! Beautiful views!
We were offered the soup of the day and it was not a non-sufficient portion. The main dilema was that waiter failed to mention the cost of the soup which was irrational for a cup of soup with barely any chicken to begin with. The “cup” of soup was fourteen dollars which did not compliment well with the quality of the soup. :/
Not good for date or special occasion
A unique and outstanding experience.
Went at night and could not see anything. Food overall was not great
The perfect spot to wrap up a gorgeous ski day at Vail !
Food was fantastic, and service was amazingly fast. Waitress was super attentive and friendly. Atmosphere can’t be beat, dining watching a gorgeous Vail sunset from the top of the mountain.
We skied from the top of Vail at the end of the day down to the Lions Head gondola, took off our skis, rode up the gondola to eat dinner, and then rode the gondola back down - very easy, and fun.
Amazing place!! This is a full of opportunities place! But need to improve the menu at lease the dinner. A great view deserves a great menu! This is a review for the management!!
Not fancy dining but service was great and everyone had something pleasing to eat. Best of all my son with food allergies was well taken care of. Trio of desserts were delicious. And my hasband was very happy to watch football on the many screens!
Out server was awesome and the food and views were amazing!
Great food, great service. We will be going again this trip. Bar service also very friendly.
The view of the mountain makes it worth it.
The food, ambiance and service is just Fair...
It’s good place for family
Great place for bite. Staff was very helpful every time we have gone. Thanks
Food was really good. My son has severe peanut & treenut allergies and our family is gluten-free by choice. They handled the allergies with complete competence and had Udi's GF buns for all the sandwiches. The views are phenomenal!
Very much enjoyed the mountain top atmosphere - food was only average but the service was very good.
The food was great and we have a great nature walk.
Hey, you're in the mountains with fabulous views. Plus ... Wines, chili and bison/sweet potato chips appetizers, entrees, dessert ... all excellent. (Bison brat was HOT with the jalapenos.) Our waiter Brian made the meal especially fun. A great guy, and super service. Misc. thoughts: Good-sized servings. Music outside was just OK, so we sat at a window inside. Nothing fancy in terms of ambiance, but that actually was a plus for us ... more comfortable. It's not cheap ... but nothing unusual for Vail. 20% tip is automatic. Lots of tables with kids, so good for families. Overall, we had a wonderful time.
