   The east coast oysters were served so cold and were the best. A very special feeling atmosphere. Good wine choice. Will return again the tuna tartar was delicious

   Celebrated another birthday at the Bistro (daughter’s 30th birthday). Brunch service - food & service- was fantastic and they baked a special mocha soufflé for my daughter (usually reserved for post 5pm service) and served it with a candle. Another great experience and one of our favorite restaurants in Boston

   He had dinner here before seeing the Nutcracker, my 10 year old and 14 year old. The food was amazing, they were very accommodating to my picky eater, and the sommelier was extremely knowledgeable, and not at all condescending, which was particularly enjoyable, given, that we are not extremely wine savvy!

    Dinner and service were excellent. Pumpkin dessert was disappointingly small, gateau also. But creme Brule perfect.. Other than that, Thank You!

    Great ambiance but food was subpar. Bread rolls were hard, drinks weren’t great and entrees were not delicious. The waitress sweet but it was busy and felt a rushed. Overall it was a nice and festive place to go for thanksgiving but food and service weren’t worth the price.

    Nice setting, good food. Too much pressure from waiters, collecting dishws too soon while guests were still finishing, missing a drinks order, over-pouring wine. Would expect more professional waiting, given price.

    We went here for an anniversary dinner and everything about our experience here was phenomenal. We never felt rushed, the service was impeccable, and the food was amazing. The king salmon, ribeye, and A5 Wagyu appetizer were all fantastic.

    We had such an enjoyable lunch at the bar. We had the pumpkin soup and salad and of course the fries! The bar tender was wonderful-fun and helpful on wine and food selection! It’s a very cute French bistro!

    I had the chicken sandwich and the nicest thing I can say was it was not good. The chicken was so over cooked with no flavor. I rarely leave bad reviews but I left there and ate somewhere else. They really should be ashamed

    Lovely arugula salad! And the bouillabaisse was great! Our niece loved her chicken. And the creme brulee was a great end to the meal. The service was very attentive, Overall lovely evening.

    Had moules frites: mussels weren't bad--couple bad ones--but the pot they were served in made it impossible to get to the broth until they were halfway gone. It was served with three 1/2 slices of toast; good, but not a crusty baguette and not enough of it. Fries were coated in some Cajun seasoning powder that tasted like... Seasoning powder. But the beer was excellent, the charcuterie plate tasty.

    Rather disappointing, they forgot to bring out the appetizer and when asked for cream for the Irish coffee we were told they didn’t have any. We’re told they would accommodate us somehow and nothing was done. Atmosphere was great and upstairs was quieter than downstairs but I won’t be recommending it to anyone. Ma Madison has better food and better waitstaff.

    My daughter and I decided to do a nice brunch on a recent visit to Boston. We dined upstairs in the white tablecloth area and were greeted right away. The space has beautiful windows facing the Commons/park area. We started with a mocktail for my daughter and a mimosa for me. We ordered a cheese plate - there were fantastic cheeses as options. For brunch, she ordered a Croque Madame and she loved it! I ordered the lobster (4 oz on ice). And a chopped salad. For dessert we had the daily selection of sorbets. We had a great time and would definitely come back!

    We had the tasting menu with wine pairing. It was good but not showstopping memorable. Also felt rushed - 7 courses over about an hour and 20 minutes. Nevertheless, a nice place. Would probably dine again at the bistro instead of a full meal in the dining room.

    The lentils in the duck dish was water and didn’t fit with the duck. Way too expensive for what you get. Fois gras was great

    Our family group of 7 (including some from each of three generations) had a wonderful evening and dinner with you. The variety of drinks, first courses, mains and desserts defy listing. But everyone was thrilled with their own dinners, plus some cross-table tastes and sharing (!!!), and of course that enhanced our conversation and family pleasures. Thank you. PS Next time do remind us in advance of the scuffles that require more prep time and you'll have more customers for them :-)
