About this restaurant

  • Good for special occasions
  • Great for fine wines
  • Charming
Bistro du Midi's cuisine features French Cuisine inspired by Coastal New England influences. Our wine list represents the true soul of a bistro wine list. In a classic French bistro, wine is very much a part of every meal. As such, we offer a variety of experiences and wines at a tremendous value in a range of prices. Our elegant yet relaxed environment overlooks Boston's beautiful Public Garden with a spectacular view. A street level Bistro features floor-to-ceiling windows, and in the spring and summer our patio provides some of the most optimal al fresco dining in the city.

Staff were nice. Surprised you didn’t have a Bastille day special menu. Food was over salted and overpriced for the value. I would not go back and wouldn’t recommend it. It’s barely French. You should have more champagne by the glass on your menu. I spent 500 dollars and felt rushed with dishes arriving while other dishes were still on the table. Again the staff and waiter were nice people. The restaurant is meh at best

One of the best nights out in Boston! Great setting, great food & great service! (If it’s in the menu, try the pineapple Soufflé. Will definitely not disappoint. Magnifique)

I can’t recommend Bistro du Midi highly enough. We have had the pleasure of eating in the dining room twice for special occasions, and they were the two best meals we have ever had. The food and presentation is perfect, the service is wonderful, and the ambiance is lovely.

This was my second time here, but this time the service was not very impressive. The server took away the plates without asking. Not very attentive. No changing new plate between the course. Me and my friend were sharing steak, but only one steak knife was given. This shouldn’t have happened in this level of restaurant. Not planing to go back again!!!

At Bistro du Midi, I attended a significant business dinner. Our table was elegantly situated, and our invitees were thoroughly satisfied with the cuisine and ambiance. Notably, our server, Louis, provided exceptional service, ensuring that our experience was truly memorable. His manager should be commended for his decision to retain him as a valued member of the service team. We thoroughly enjoyed the dinner and express our sincere gratitude for the exceptional service you provided. Thank you, Bistro du Midi Team!

Great experience and strongly recommend if you are looking for a little taste of French atmosphere in Boston. We live in Europe and I was very positively surprised to find a couple of local bery good brands for beer and wine. Compliments to the stuff for the selection.

Great service and food, as always. Went for my birthday lunch with colleagues and they sat us as a lovely table by the corner window on the second floor. Always recommend this restaurant

Outstanding experience. Dinner with friends. Food is always creative, delicious, and perfectly prepared. Wine list was fun. Service is what you expect (which is a lost art). Just a seriously good meal, overlooking the public garden - hard to beat that.

My husband and I had a lovely dinner at the bar! The bartender was training a new person and they were both very helpful and knowledgeable!
