AMAZING!!! From the hostess Gabriela , to the General manager, wine Director it was all about Hospitality and that it’s all what makes a big difference, our server Daniel has a lot of knowledge about splitting items and making you feel like if you were having a tasting menu, food was amazing and great presentation, can’t wait to go back!!

We came with a party of eight and the seating was very spacious and private. The service was absolutely superb. The food was exceptionally prepared, Presented, and was such a delight to partake in. The wine was exceptional. The service was outstanding.
Felt like we were in Paris! The food was wonderful and thanks to the weather, we were able to enjoy a leisurely dinner with our adult children outside . Can't wait to go back!
I was with 2 friends and would have preferred to sit downstairs We felt very under dressed for the upper levels.
We had a wonderful dinner at Bistro du Midi. The staff were really welcoming and friendly. Our server was very informative with explaining the meals and the specials. Also, she gave us excellent customer service and she was super nice. I recommend the lamb tartare for appetizer and the chicken, shiitake risotto. I’m usually not a fan of oysters but the oysters at Bistro du Midi were really tasty, especially the big briny ones. Also, the chocolate soufflé was so good! We ended the night with some cheese platter. The jam was lovely. I could eat it alone. Overall, our night at Bistro du Midi was memorable. I would really recommend this place for any one who wants to treat themselves to beautiful, delicious food.

Delightful experience overlooking the Boston Garden. We used to live in the Boston area so it was like “ coming home”
Food and service was grand. We were not rushed and our server Jose, was very accommodating.
The food was spotty. The octopus appetizer was outstanding. The bottle of wine was very good. My bouillabaisse had a very generous portion of seafood; however the broth tasted strongly of fennel and no saffron. My wife's vegetables and salad were generous portions but unremarkable.
It is an excellent spot in the neighborhood for any occasion. We were able to sit on the ground floor which is very “French cafe romantic and just fun” The ground floor can not be reserved.
Fantastic visit -- the food was almost universally outstanding(*) (better than before the pandemic, I would say), the service was exceptional, and the setting is always lovely. (* Though I didn't care too much for the halibut -- it was a bit overcooked and didn't have a lot of flavor.)

Meh. That’s it. Meh. For the price it should have been much better. The caviar service was sloppy, although delicious. Our first courses were good, just not spectacular. The main courses were meh. The service was decent but not at the level expected. Pretty disappointed.

Looks like fine dining, priced like fine dining. Not fine dining. Ideal for those who can afford multiple rooms next door at the Five Seasons to prove they can play host at a restaurant that uses expensive ingredients. Unfortunately, they have no idea what to do with them and seems not to be able to read their pull by dates. Perhaps the most disappointing expensive meal I have ever had.

Our second time in a matter of weeks! Incredible service — everyone is attentive and kind. Great value and quality dishes. You may be surprised to hear that it is my favourite burger in Boston! The bouillabaisse was one of the best my husband has ever tried (including experiences in Europe). We will be back :)

Delicious food in a beautiful space with superb service. On the pricey side.
Excellent food and service. The Spanish octopus is to die for and all of the combinations so well done. The tasting menu looked fantastic but we passed because it seemed like so much food.

Loved the ambience of the upstairs dining. Many dressed for the occasion, which was nice. Servers were wonderful and the food was great. Would come back again. Our table was a little too big for the four of us though. Most tables were set for either two or six.

Just the noise. Food was worth the price.
They steps on the game for the restaurant week, the cheese cake with pistachio icecream stole all my hearts with variations of tasted, textures and appearances. Perfect combination with dried nuts, icecream and cheesecake. Don't get me wrong, sometime French cuisine would get you hungry at the end by the slightly samll potions. Howver, Bitro du midi made the perfect potions for these three courses. I will come back for more without any doubt.

I ate here recently from the Dine Out Boston menu. Everything my partner and I ordered was absolutely delicious. I had the mussels, chicken, and raspberry cheesecake and wouldn't change a thing. My partner had the cucumber soup (so unique and tasty!), the steak (their house butter on top is mouthwatering) and the cheesecake as well. Our server was super friendly and attentive. We certainly plan on returning.

The wine was good and well priced for a restaurant week meal. However, the appetizer and main meal itself was very average if not below average. The salad was essentially tasteless and the steak quality was not great for the price. The cheesecake however for dessert was pretty good. Portion size was also decent for restaurant week.

I made reservations during restaurant week to celebrate my partner's birthday. What was supposed to be a celebratory event turned downhill quickly. While I went to the restroom, the staff served the appetizer and the sauce from the mussels spilled all over my seat and my purse. When I got back I informed our server but he was at a lost on what to do. I had to ask for extra napkins to wipe the seat and my purse. They brought out the rest of the food and it was fine. Nothing spectacular. The place got busier as we were about to leave. We were waiting to get our church but our server was not in sight so we asked another person to inform him. When he came around to our area 10 minutes later there was still no bill so we had to ask him. Another 15 minutes went by and still no bill, he was at the table next to us so I tried to get his attention but he walked away. A customer at another table ended up flagging him down for us to request for the bill again. This time he finally brought the bill but the entire ordeal was so frustrating. I'm very disappointed in the level of service and the restaurant is understaffed with just 2 servers but it should not take multiple attempts to get our check.

We have had dinner a few times. This time, I tried Dine Out Boston lunch alone. Well, they always satisfy my taste buds and do not betray my expectations. They are the best.

Food quality was notably down to many many prior experiences. The service was also quite terrible. Very disappointed with this, what used to be a terrific, restaurant. I think they need an urgent review.

Outstanding "boston restaurant week" experience, for which they definitely weren't skimping on the quality of ingredients and presentation. Dishes were all original and cooked perfectly, I will definitely be back for the regular menu! Staff was exceptionally attentive. Lovely drinks selection, especially the dessert wines. 5/5 all around!
Wonderful staff, beautiful location! Excellent menu options – the roasted hake was fabulous & the duck was well done overall though a bit too overdone for my personal taste. The raspberry cheesecake is a must - perfect blend of salty and sweet and great crumb!
Amazing food, probably one of the best pancakes I've ever had! I will definitely come back when I'm in Boston again.
Two of my all time favorite restaurants are Le Bernardin in New York and Bistro du Midi in Boston. I think that says it all. Keep up the good work.
