Outstanding. Everything from the COVID safety, to the ambiance, to the food & wine. Cannot wait to come back when California is back open!!!

We were missing Original Joe's in SF so we were told to come to BDG as a replacement! It was great! Food, atmosphere, service were all wonderful. A huge place! Pretty fancy. Good for a date night.

In the age of Covid, we are lucky to have access to such quality restaurants as Don Giovanni. I feel safe bringing my 87 year old father there as they observe (above and beyond) CDC guidelines for keeping their restaurant diners safe. All are wearing masks and gloves, tables and chairs are disinfected, menus are disposable. We have been fans for many years and are pleased to continue as we soldier through this pandemic. Our meal was up to standard and we over-indulged in dessert. One of the favorites of our family are the porkchops. I had the pizza margarite and had enough for dinner, too. Plenty of good choices!

Bistro Don Giovanni is one of our go to places in Napa. They have a well designed and laid out patio. For was very good and service was excellent.

The food & drinks were amazing (the pear drop martini soo good). The services was just as good. When I made the reservation I noted that it was for my boyfriends birthday, no one mentioned his birthday or anything which was a disappointment. Other than that I was happy with my experience

This is a must do restaurant if you come to the Napa Valley.

As always, the food, wine and ambiance were perfect. Giovanni, a gracious host, and Ruth, an attentive and fun server, made the evening enjoyable. Even faced with California restrictions and guidelines, the restaurant was safe, warm (plenty of outdoor heaters) and welcoming. I hope the region recognizes the need to provide (outdoor) dining experiences to support our economy and mental health. Thanks for a wonderful evening.

Outstanding food, service and great COVID protocol. Even came back a week later for another delicious meal. The lasagna bolognese is the best you ever tasted. You will really enjoy the minestrone soup. Fresh produce from their garden. Beautiful scenery. We really enjoyed sitting by the fountain in the sunlight. They have ample heaters and are very accommodating to make sure you are comfortable.

Exceptional food, service and outdoor setting.

We had a lovely dinner on the patio and appreciated that it was a heated area. We also appreciated the complimentary appetizer. I tried your lasagna for the first time and loved it. Our service was first rate too! Hope you will bring back the roasted red pepper soup as it is one of my favorite soups that you make. Hope to see you again soon ❤️

We thoroughly enjoyed our outdoor dining experience at Don Giovanni. We were seated next to the fountain, which was delightful. The overhead lights added a warm yet celebratory ambience and the large heaters kept the temperature just right for outdoor dining at night. The food was excellent and the service great. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely dine there again.

Dining around the fountain at last was a surprise silver lining to COVID, which I guess finally pushed Napa to do the right thing. Felt like being in Tuscany and the food, as always, did not disappoint. With so many choices in the Valley, there's a reason we go back again and again to Gio's.

Been here many times. Food is still excellent, today however the service was appalling. Thought we would never receive or drinks, appetizer or meal. Despite several requests to have our heater turned on (which never happened) we finally just asked for the check and left before we got too cold.

Such a pleasure to go out and eat!!
I can always count on a wonderful meal at Bistro Don Giovanni.

A Napa Valley landmark. Can't go wrong here. Been going here 12 years.

Tables set outdoors in garden setting. Staff tending to COVID precautions. Menu varied; Butternut squash soup more like a stew with chunky vegetables; risotto with artichokes and smoked chicken, parmigiana well done. The branzino was delicious, good sized portion. Servers attentive.

Lovely atmosphere, extra in the waiters helpfulness friendliness and spreading cheer- it was part of making the experience enjoyable

Always wonderful at this popular Napa Valley destination. Excellent food / don’t miss the home made focaccia and tiramisu.

Excellent food!! Had the salmon that was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The service is great! Always there to refill my drink or remove dirty dishes.

Always loved Bistro Don Giovanni and this time was no different in spite of everything. Great feel and environment, accommodating and no pressure. Considering all the adverse affects on restaurants and the invasive requirements they may impose on patrons, they did not create an uncomfortable atmosphere for those of us who want to simply enjoy their time out and not be continually reminded of how to behave when we are fully aware of the new rules. Thank you Don Giovanni for treating us like adults and keeping the experience as you always have -- relaxing, delightful, delicious and very worth the visit!

Excellent salad and pizza. Server was efficient. Gorgeous outdoor dining!

We sat on the patio by the fountain on a very lovely fall day this week. We shared the Frito Misto which was delicious. My friend, whose birthday we were celebrating. She ordered the mussels which she claimed were outstanding!!! I had the meatballs with polenta. Again an outstanding dish!!! I couldn’t recommend Bistro DG any higher.

Our server was rude and needed an attitude adjustment.

Don Giovannis is always excellent. Today they had a fish stew and also a mussels appetizer. Also always have the frito misto.
Everytinng was good as it gets. Social distancing is perfect in the garden.

This restaurant NEVER disappoints! Everything is excellent— especially the food and atmosphere. Always my first choice for an evening out.
