The filet mignons were cooked to perfection, and the service couldn't have been better. Bistro Daisy is a real gem!
It was such a treat to dine again at Bistro Daisy. The most creative food, best wine list, and top service makes this our favorite neighborhood spot.
One of the best neighborhood restaurants in New Orleans. Open for take out and open sit down on weekends. Very glad they are back. Wonderful food always, great friendly service. Excellent fish specials, fantastic duck and steak. The chicken is excellent as well. You cannot go wrong with this place. Support them as they reopen
One of the best restaurants in New Orleans. Service is impeccable, and the dishes are perfect! Probably the best grilled tenderloin steak I've ever had, like butter in my mouth. And the oysters with herbsaint cream was out of this world. I'll be back for this intimate setting and heavenly food.
Love this restaurant, the food and service and atmosphere is superb! And I felt safe with regard to Covid guidelines.
We expected it to be empty with all of the news developments. To our surprise, it wasn’t. What a great little break from reality and a true testament to the spirit of New Orleans. Food and service were amazing as always!
loved everything about our meal!
Nothing wrong with this restaurant. The food is always prepared so well with an excellent bar. Can't go wrong here.
This is one of our local go to restaurants. I usually give it all 4 stars or higher but really off night with service. I literally almost had to tackle our waiter or send up flares to get his attention. Unacceptable in a restaurant of this small size.
We found this restaurant by accident but thoroughly enjoyed it. Will definitely be back on our next visit to NOLA!
After a spectacular meal a month ago we booked a party of 6 after an art opening at NOAFA. We were again delighted with another delicious meal, ably served by Michael and Jacob. The sazeracs were stellar, oyster appetizer, duck and bouillabase wonderful. Bistro Daisy does not disappoint when it comes to a memorable dinner out. We shalll return!
Bistro Daisy is my first choice restaurant for all events, except those where my party exceeds 12 persons
We took our son out bc we gad nit done so in a while. He used to work in an upscale restaurant and he likes Bistro Daisy. Everything was superb.
I love this place
Superb meal, service, ambiance.
This place is always just like coming home to eat with family.
A best kept secret in NOLA dining that is not so secret anymore. Thanks for everything!
Delicious food & beautiful atmosphere - but our waiter wasn’t very pleasant at all which made our overall experience sub par
Nice place, great staff, food and drinks both great.
Wonderful experience! Our dinner was absolutely divine. Service impeccable. Lovely ambiance. Now among one of our favorite New Orleans dining experiences.
I chose this restaurant because of an article I read naming the 100 best restaurants across America,Daisy Bistro, being one of them. We were planning our first trip to New Orleans so I made a reservation. We were not disappointed. We were thrilled with the food and the service. My tenderloin of beef was the best I’ve ever had . My husband loved the mussels and I enjoyed the salad appetizer. Considering the quality of the food, the prices were very fair. The only negative was it was a little noisy at times. A wonderful experience in a charming setting. I highly recommend trying it.
First time there with my wife. The atmosphere was that of an old New Orleans style house, dimly lit, very quiet and quaint. The food was awesome and its Not over priced. Highly recommend.
My husband and I had a wonderful experience! This restaurant is a must try. The food was phenomenal and their Valentine’s Day ambiance was romantic.
Our first time to Daisy’s was in 2013 and the meal, service and atmosphere were so good that we needed to return. So we did on Valentine’s Day 2020. I didn’t realize it was a special menu for VD, but that didn’t matter as the food, service and atmosphere were better than I remembered. I highly recommend Daisy’s and hopefully it won’t be such a long time between visits.
Went back to Bistro Daisy the night before Valentine's Day and had a wonderful experience and dinner, as we always do here. This neighborhood gem is one of our favorite local spots. My wife's porcini crusted chicken over spinach was incredible! I had one of their specials for the night, which was flounder over potatoes and green beans...it was awesome as well! Service was outstanding, and the environment was impeccable as always. Highly recommend this spot!
A very nice neighborhood restaurant filled with local residents. I had the filet of beef that came at the correct temperature, medium rare, on a bed of delicious mashed potatoes. It was an expensive taxi ride there and back but worth it.
Excellent experience as usual at this restaurant. Fork tender lamb shank was delicious. Baked oysters in cream sauce was delicate and w excellent texture.
Very romantic and the food was very good.
The crepe dessert was the way a crepe should be!
Great food at a great value
There were 6 for dinner, as we wound down a weekend of exploring wedding venues for my son and his fiancée. All agreed the food was excellent. I had the oysters and the bouillabaisse. Everyone who tasted it agreed it was the best they had ever tasted..and we’re all foodies! My son had the duck and raved about it. Those who had the steak were also very complimentary. Waitstaff was very helpful with suggestions.
Really loved everything about the evening.
Wonderful place to dine for any occasion! Great food and service in a charming atmosphere.
Service was excellent, friendly but not intrusive, drinks were outstanding, food was tasty and well presented, just an overall delightful dining experience.
We were celebrating two birthdays. We got there right when the restaurant opened for the evening so it was super quiet. It got a bit noisier as the evening wore on. The service was great and very attentive. We loved everything we ate. I had the fish special, and the mahi mahi was delicious. My husband really really enjoyed his steak.
What a fantastic dining experience. Jacob was wonderful and the food was to die for.
Amazing ambiance and food. Service is first class. Will definitely return.
Bistro Daisy is my favorite restaurant, and I always recommend it to anyone desiring an excellent meal with great service, ambiance and very fair prices.
We are fairly regular customers and had seen that on their website they added a new item of Lobster Ravioli. We were really looking forward to trying that but it has been taken off the menu. Bistro Daisy is one of our favorite restaurants but a new item once in a while would be a significant inducement to go more often. Still a five star restaurant.
We love Bistro Daisy in all ways... a treasure in NOLA dining...
Cozy with elegant atmosphere
Food was well presented and if the highest quality
Wait staff was knowledgeable and attentive
We will be back.
Perfection continues and consistency is the hallmark of excellence. The soup of the evening was a butternut squash and brandy mixture with Parmesan and crispy bacon....superb! The chicken entree is the best priced and most tasty rendition in NOLA. The bouillabaisse is also one of the few and best versions of this dish I have ever had. The blueberry cobbler and vanilla ice cream with Tokayji was a fitting end to a great Tuesday evening supper.
