Bistro Cassis Manhattan
Loved this place!! great food - not pretentious! very comfortable!
Lobster club sandwich on brioche bread was excellent. A Neighborhood gem.
A fixture for pre theater eating — serviceable French food and pleasant surroundings. Better than most of your less splurgy options nearby.
Always enjoy the mussels, with enough other choices that I can change up whenever I wish. Feels homey and comfortable.
We had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The food, service and setting are impeccable. If we are ever in the area of Lincoln Center again, we will certainly pay a visit to Bistro Cassis Manhatten.
Wonderful food as always. I wish there were surfaces to absorb sound, there was a very loud table of 6 which made it difficult to have a conversation. I think it is best to go at 9 or later in order to have a peaceful ambience.
Had a lovely time. The wait staff was very attentive and the food was well presented and delicious.
Wonderful authentic French Bistro. Friendly service. Excellent menu. Their mussels are fabulous
Easter family brunch, as usual for Cassis outstanding service and food
Lovely bistro with great food, excellent friendly service.
peila was dry and for $76 was a terrible dish inedible!@!!!!!
The fish dishes that we had were excellent. Their prices seem to have increased since the last time we were there not so long ago. Service was attentive. The place could use a remodeling--seems a tad olde!
I loved this place but it had gone down in both service and food. Waiters just throwing silverware for desert upside down waiter, dry pork chop that needed to be cut with a saw instead of a serrated knife, cell phones sticking out of their vest pockets grabbing a credit card even before you see the check. Hopefully management reads these in order to have the cafe the stature they used to have.
Service was terrible and food was ordinary
Table was ready when we arrived. Food was excellent and the 4 of us were able to hear ourselves talk. Despite being busy, we were not rushed. This is one of our go-to places in the Lincoln Center area.
Really nice. Food great! Service excellent! We’ll be back
Our server was very nice and accommodating. Unfortunately, the food eas not memorable.
Overpriced for quality.
It was fun. The outdoor area wasn’t open but it was fine. The food was good. Coffee was good. Salad was good. The waitress was nice and I liked hearing the French accent. She also didn’t complain when I asked to have stuff translated from the menu, lol. Good times. Would go back.
Bistro Cassis is a terrific local place to have a good piece of steak, duck or anything french for that fact. Very welcoming place and you are always treated right!
A late lunch so the restaurant was practically empty. We were seated quickly. Decided to split an order of calamari and one ordered a chicken sandwich, the other steak. The calamari was like rubber. The spicy tomato sauce was good. The rest of the meal was good. We split a dessert. The glass of Malbec was generous and good.
Food very slow to come out and staff overloaded and harried
This is one of my favorite restaurants! The food is always delicious and the waitstaff are wonderful, especially Marco. My husband is a creme brûlée fan and says Bistro Cassis has the best!
Fairly uninspiring. The wait staff is a disinterested group of people. Not a smile or a greeting. More like “what do YOU want”?
Close tables. Woman sitting next to us talked nonstop. No commas or periods.
Food was so so. Wine selected was not available so he made the choice to substitute.
Lamb shank was over cooked
Food was very good. Service was mediocre
Great neighborhood restaurant
Wonderful, as always. The cassoulet is outstanding. Our wait staff Aubrey made the experience perfect,
We love Bustro Cassis. Food and service are always exceptional. Can’t wait to return
Great crepes. Fun casual place. Great service.
Always happy at Cassis. Service and food always terrific and the wine list has some real gems. Always feel like a valued regular. My absolute go to for genuine bistrot cuisine.
Reliable, good food and good service.
This is a place my husband and I have gone to for years. Always cozy, good food, and a romantic yet lively atmosphere.
We went to a pre concert dinner and had no worries or issues with getting out late. The service was helpful and courteous. The food was outstanding. One of the best duck entrees that I have had. The restaurant was clean and well appointed. A wonderful restaurant.
Always excellent food.
Consistently solid. Excellent steak. Grilled Caesar!
Very good food, good service, high noise level, Tables very close to each other. Our conversation kept being interrupted by intrusions from man at next table.
Bistro Cassis a lovely neighborhood restaurant. Good food, reliable service, continues to be a very relaxing spot to come with family and friends on the UWS to have a good meal. It seems like they get lots of repeat customers here which says good things about the place. Very much like a Paris bistro on the UWS. Give it a try and save on airfare to Paris.
The food is always delicious! The ambiance is charming. The service has been better in the past.
Spent 10 minutes to select a bottle of wine. Waiter comes back empty handed. They did not have it. This was second time happened. Friday special Bouillabaisse was nothing special and it had cracked clam shell in it.
Their beef tartar and moules with fries are good. But ghen why have them here? Bar Boulud is better.
The food is always good as is the service. Nice that it is in our neighborhood.
