Bistro By The Tracks
across the globe with the familiar tastes of East Tennesee. Reviewers say " consistently spectacular"
with friendly "non-stuffy" service. Bistro by the Tracks is Knoxville's answer to great metropolitan dining."
Sea bass, pork chop, ratatouille, brussel sprouts, and carrot cake were all good, but the best thing we had was the scallops appetizer--perfectly cooked. Novel-sized wine list and a small group of good beer selections. The noise level was a little higher than I'd like, but maybe we were just there with people who don't have inside-voices.
We was celebrating a 60th Birthday and the Staff made it a perfect night. Everything was done top notch.
It was my birthday and we had a family reunion too. Folks coming from severe different states and arriving at different times. They were more than accommodating. The food was excellent. Helpful with a wine selection. I would go there again.
We gave them the assignment of creating an innovative experience and they did an amazing job. Fresh vegetables, gluten free, vegetarian, all requirements were met with eclat. Thank you for the memorial experience.
Reservations were flawless. Service was mostly very attentive and friendly. Everyone in our party ordered something different and all seemed satisfied. Portions are small for the price in some case. Very pleasant atmosphere and quite a weekend crowd, so noise level was higher than preferred for our gathering, but ok. Nice place for special occasions.
4 of us went to celebrate husband's birthday. Atmostphere was very nice, kind of business man's nice. Food was good, service excellent. Easy location to get to. Would definitely return.
Food was very good and we-presented. Great ambiance and professional staff. Peaceful atmosphere for brunch.
Great place for a special dinner or even cocktails with friends and family. Everyone makes you feel welcome and special!
This was my first time at the restaurant and it definitely won’t be my last. All of the dishes were fenominal and the drinks were great too! Our server TJ was probably the best service I’ve had in a long time. Will be returning!!
Jerry is a wonderful waiter and we love Bistro by the Tracks! Since moving to Knoxville a couple years ago, we’ve been trying to find our local hang out...this is it. Food, drinks, ambiance and service is top notch.
We really enjoyed our dining experience for a birthday dinner.
Bistro by the Tracks has been excellent every time I have eaten there. The menu is diverse and comprehensive. The food is always well prepared and delicious and the service courteous and responsive to every need.
Everything was great except the chop salad was unlike other chop salads I had previously experienced, this was more small leaf? Spinach with a relatively acidic vinaigrette. Otherwise the food was excellent and the service impeccable. Overall we love the restaurant
Wonderful as always! Ivan is the best server in Knoxville! Food is spectacular!
Tonight my Fad and I really enjoyed the pan seared halibut. Just outstanding!
This is our “go-to” spot for birthdays and other special occasions.
I brought my wife here for a Valentine’s Day celebration. Food, service, and atmosphere were all outstanding. We got to enjoy an evening talking and spending time together.
BBT always delivers food with creativity and excellent flavor. The atmosphere has made BBT a favorite place for us to celebrate.
Nice place with helpful waiter. Chateaubriand for two was good but not great. Other dishes looked interesting and might have been better choices. Large wine and beer selection.
I have looked forward to dining here for awhile and was disappointed by the food. I ordered the scallop appetizer as a meal and it was the best dish at the table. The duck was dry. The filet mignon was tender but lacked flavor. The mushroom side was far too vinigary. The Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes were not bad.
Superb. Excellent Service, drinks and cuisine!
A superb dinner! Chef Wilhoit and crew were on point. An incredible Valentine Day outing.
My wife and I came in on Valentines Day. The service was perfect. On point, but not intrusive. We both ordered filets. My said it was the best steak she’d ever had. They were excellent. The atmosphere was intimate and classy, but not stuffy. We had a wonderful time.
One of the best experiences we've had. The Sea bass was perfect and the truffle fries were incredible.
As always, the food, service, and ambiance were exceptional. Cheers and hats off to the bartender for preparing a perfect "hot" martini. Only disappointment for me was that the confit of duck portion, while delicious, seemed small
Nice atmosphere but food and drinks were disappointing
Reliable, consistent, excellent dining experience!
Great service and time well spent. We enjoyed the simple menu, and the variety of drink options.
We arrived at 6:45 and they were already out of the fish special. Also, they were out of the wine we ordered.
Our party of six really enjoy our dining experience with Bistro by the Tracks. Our waiter Gerry was there when we needed him and was especially helpful.
Will visit again.
Wonderful food, love the ambiance. Always a wonderful, special dining experience.
This is one of my fav places in Knoxville. Great food and atmosphere. The folks there are always nice and accommodating.
Always a great meal and wonderful service! I was surprised though that some of our food was served to us barely warm....almost cold. They were busy for a Saturday, but sent my fish back for a better temperature. The Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes were also barely warm...but we ate and enjoyed. It was a birthday celebration and they did comp a desert, but was a little surprised they did not say anything about it when we arrived or were seated considering I put special notes on the reservation....most places would have notified the waiter and said something at the beginning.....but all went well and enjoyed our experience.
Always enjoy Bistro and seeing Ivan! Great place-one of my favorites!!!
First, the positive. Service is great. Our waitress was welcoming, attentive and enthusiastic. This was our first visit and we had high expectations. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday so I wanted it to be a special evening. Our starter was quite good as were the salads. However, the entree was a major disappointment. Ordered the coq au vin. It was completely uninspired, bland and underwhelming. Dessert was as well. Dinner for two was $170 plus. For that amount, I expect to be wowed. We weren’t.
Great food, service and atmosphere.😀
It was hubby’s birthday and we had amazing food and service. Highly recommended and will def be back
Wonderful food. Everyone in our group loved it. Great variety. Awesome quality
We had the crispy skin salmon which was excellent. Service was slow at first but the pace picked up after our initial order was taken.
