The bread is soooooooo good. I was surprised I was able to make a reservation for 6 only 1.5 hours before wanting to dine on a Sunday. It was great.
Oyster were good.
Had to wait even though we made reservations. Food was ok Pizza greasy and omelet was running . Might go back.
Very beautiful experience and good quality food, definitely would recommend making reservations.
Fantastic! A must for anyone with tastebuds! Clam chowder bread bowl is the best!
Great seafood selection if you're feeling spendy. Would recommend anything and everything. They do it all well!
Awesome clam chowder! The crab cocktail was good too!
Nice place to dine overlooking the wharf. Good
Is pretty good.
Obviously right on the waterfront, the location was fantastic. Food was very good, just wish for a few more options that weren't all fish...I know, it's Fisherman's Wharf but there are people that dine with those that are not fans of seafood. Prices a little high but it is San Francisco and that may just be what you pay for the food, location and ambiance. Overall it was very good and would go again.
I feel that this restaurant was far too expensive for what it had to offer.
I’m sure that for some people it would tick all the boxes.
I can’t fault the service our waiter Juan was great..
The food was ok but over priced.
The view was incredible and you could see Alcatraz.
Whilst I wouldn’t recommend to a friend I think this place would definitely tick some people’s boxes.
We were recommended do I think it’s very individual.
Visiting from out of town. Had a really nice time, the food was very good and the service was very good as well. The muscles, fish tacos, Dungeness crab pasta and a number of other dishes we had were all very good.I would definitely go back again in the future if we’re visiting San Francisco.
Expensive but great atmosphere and view. Food was good. Waiter made good wine recommendation. Oysters were just ok. Staff were attentive.
God was great! Our waitress went on break and left us in the hands of another waiter. Asked for tea 5 times before we received it. Nice view.
Went there for dinner on a Monday night. It was crowded - glad we had a reservation. Ordered the crab, spinach and artichoke dip. It was wonderful. We both had shrimp and chips. The shrimp were large and tasty. Very good meal.
The food was bland, the hostess was very rude. She was not friendly at all and when asking where the restrooms were located she responded by saying behind her and in a rude tone. Well behind her was the entire restaurant and two different directions to go. The server was profitiant and I would rate him a 5 out of 5. The price of a French onion soup was triple anywhere else in the city and it was tasteless.
I commend the waiter. I have some allergies that makes it hard for me to eat at some restaurants. But he listened to mine and then went back and spoke with the chef. He returned with some sad news but he also had a solution for me. I appreciated it so much.
We love this restaurant and visit every time we go to San Francisco.
Our last evening in SF we were looking for something close to our hotel that had a water view. Boudin’s second floor dining room was perfect. The food was good and service was fine. Would recommend it to travelers.
Love this Bistro so much! Visit every time we’re in the city! Always take some bread and gifts home from downstairs, too.
We sat in a small room which was terrific! Kids in town for father's day. Nice to be able to visit. Still had a great view of the Bay. Food outstanding! Service was terrific!
Kind of clunky, from check in to table service. Just ok. Drinks, appetizers, salads, entrees. Jumbled in delivery, took forever on some items, entrees came with salads!!! The worst you can do in my book is not pace the meal!!! Bread was great! The "butter" spread was terrible. I would not eat in again.
The view of Alcatraz was gorgeous upstairs. We really enjoyed our dinner. We also got the fish and chips which were delicious. The service was great too. Definitely recommend!
Great all around
Was concerned at first about tourist trap but couldn’t have been any better in terms of food or service
Good service and food was good.
Sure you could get a clam chowder in a boule to go downstairs but if you want to take a breather and have someone bring you food it’s a nice respite - for a price. Best thing hands down: kids clam chowder in a sourdough boule - because it comes in a turtle shaped bread! Awesome bread. Everything else is just fine. But I miss the pizza and the Havarti Bread from the Boudin of the 1980’s. Some of the best food ever. Ate it everyday practically.
Food is amazing and also the service. The back private room was nice and fresh also
Very happy with the whole experience and the food was amazing, somewhat in the higher price range for the servings but it was great tasting foo.
Tere’s service was exceptional.
Food was OK. I had the Cod tacos. The Cod was deep fried. I prefer broiled.
My wife’s Crab Tacos were good.
The Calamari was very good.
Prices for Paella and Halibut were a bit expensive.
High seats are a bit uncomfortable for the thighs after being in/on them for a while.
Happening, people watching place!!
I ordered paella and it was bland, seafood tasted like it was bad or about to go bad, and no nice crusty bottom that paella usually has. My guest ordered the crab cake sandwich with tartar sauce and mayo on side, with salad with dressing on the side. When it arrived, salad was doused in dressing and no sauces on the side. Usually love it here so sad by this dinner. Additionally are bartender was pretty absent minded, had to ask for complimentary bread after our main course had already arrived, no silverware before food came out so we sat there trying to flag other servers down, and had to ask a different bartender for our check.
The location was great in the heart of Fisherman's Wharf. The restaurant had a great view out to Alcatraz. The food was delicious and the service was friendly and professioinal.
It’s a great place to play tourist for the day , food was good but the drinks seemed to be more on the juice side with very little alcohol . Price decent for where it’s located , I would recommend going
I made reservations for my granddaughters birthdays. Unfortunately, we had a very inattentive server who shrugged off the Birthday reminder IN FRONT OF THE GIRLS! We had a $200 meal with appetizers, soups and main dishes. When we settled the bill EVERY plate we were served was still on the table. You could not see wood. We had to beg for water refills. The manager happened to ask how our dinner was as we were exiting and I told him. He gave the girls sourdough teddy bears. Thoughtful but not exactly what we were thinking for dessert. Extremely disappointing.
Have been here 3 times within the last year already. #1 reason is for the Dungeness crab. Started off with oysters that were the freshest I've ever tasted. Main course was the crab which melted in your mouth with every bite. The flavors of butter and garlic exploded in each mouth watering taste. Throw in a view of the Bay and Alcatraz, you will experience fine dining at it's best in San Francisco.
Not worth the money
Lovely dinner. We had a great time
Wonderful experience! Great food and service! Will definitely return
Every dish was delicious and it was nice to share dishes “family style” as the waiter suggested
Great dinner place. It was our second second time and was just as great! Just don’t take the seating as they close the kitchen and bar by 10:30.
Overall the restaurant was nice if you did not want to wait during the busy rush downstairs. Very clean and good views from the restaurant. The only complaint is the lunch menu seemed limited but overall good. Service was excellent.
The food was excellent but the evening was spoilt for us by the disgusting behaviour and rudeness of our waitress Angela M. She is definitely not an asset for a great venue.
