Pleasantly surprised by this tourist spot. Food was excellent quality. I had the scallops which was cooked perfectly. It was served with pork belly... divine combination. Beef stew was reported by the husband to be very good and tender. My kids loved the crab Mac n cheese. Server was attentive and pleasant. Chowder with bread bowl was excellent. I would have liked it to be more piping hot.

I've personally visited Boudin Bistro several times before. This last meal was the best (and most expensive) one yet. We had world-class service and zero complaints. Tremendous food, and a wonderful experience.

Such a wonderful find in San Francisco! If you take the time to go upstairs, the food rivals any 5 star restaurant around!! The wine list has been carefully curated by Kellie, the amazing General Manager! We also enjoyed one of the best happy hours!! We went 4 nights in a row and enjoyed the tastiest , freshest oysters on the half shell!! Thank you Artie for your friendly, awesome happy hour service!!!

Went here for our anniversary tonight. Love crab and I love their sourdough so I thought this would be a fun place to go.

Our waiter was nice, but gone most of the time, they weren't busy really and we were checked on periodically. Our food took forever to get to us, almost an hour. A manager did apologize and said he kitchen had some confusion, however he didn't offer anything other than an apology.

I had the sole which was ok, very blah, nor flavorful at all, the spinach was the best thing on the plate. My husband had the scallops which were delicious.

Dessert was definitely not good and I would recommend skipping. Lava cake was not lava just cooked cake, nothing special by any means. Beignets we're gross crunchy a weird texture.

Overall lots they can do to improve. I also feel that there could be some improvement on the customer service side. If you ask how it is and I tell you it's not good and have barely touched it, perhaps ask what can be done to fix it?

Decent place considering it’s a bit touristy, waitress was a little sloppy but it was busy so that can be forgiven. Could do with a better beer selection considering this is California, however food cost performance was good so overall recommended

Avocado crab roll was fresh and unique. Meal took more than two hours so validated parking (a major plus for Fisherman's Wharf) was overtimed.

On vacation in San Francisco and really looked forward to a great crab dinner. Unfortunately we had the worst waiter ever. He disappeared for long periods and was totally inattentive. He was also not knowledgeable about the fare and mostly mumbled and seemed bothered . There is no excuse for that kind of service. Sadly, this effected our dining experience and while the food was good we will never return in the future. There are too many choices in San Fran to have to deal with that.

The food was absolutely incredible!! We had a goat cheese appetizer with of course, some delicious sourdough bread. My husband at a steak which he devoured, and I had the crab mac and cheese which was to DIE for!!!! As a mac and cheese lover, this was one of my all-time favorites.

I had called a few times prior to arrival because my party size kept growing. When we all sat at a large table they made up ( which was nice) it took 15 minutes before a waiter came. another 10 minutes for water, etc. Really not a good reflection on me as the host and I would not go back.

I chose Bistro Boudin because of excellent past experiences: dates over the years; 30th wedding anniversary, etc. On Dec 3, 2017 our family celebrated the birthdays of 2 grandsons. Thank you for seating us in the northwest fireside room and the birthday dessert with candles. These brought tears to my eyes. Unfortunately, I had to leave our party three times to get the waiter including to make payment; the dungeness crab dinners were too salty, greasy and not crab tasty. The other guests didn't complain but didn't mention the great meal which they have had in the past. I am wondering what happened? Our family loves Boudin sour dough etc. This recent experience gives us pause.

I've been here several times. Great location and validated parking. Not the best for gluten free because of all the flour dust, but they do try to provide GF options. I was a little disappointed in the paella. My husband had it once and it was served in a cast iron skillet. Mine was served on a plate. I thought it was too oily but otherwise it was very tasty and the seafood was fresh. Our waiter was very good.
