Bistro Banc serves modern American cuisine infused with flavors from around the world. It offers a warm dining experience with a friendly and attentive staff. We have dined here 6 times in the past 3 months and eagerly anticipate every visit to Bistro Blanc. This evening was the final night for BB as Raj focuses on his next culinary adventure.

Raj's team in the kitchen is extraordinary and the menu has an excellent variety of options across all categories. Each with its unique flavor and presentation.

Wine selection is very good, with many good chilled wines by the glass via the self serve carrousel which puts wine price in the stratosphere, so, premium for the flexibility and option. Wine by the bottle is sold via the integrated retail space...the down sides...wines are room temp and prices are generally marked up 100+% (typical, but given the format one would expect better pricing).

In our experience, the service has either been very good or poor. It's difficult to say whether it is an operational issue with the kitchen handling volume or wait staff, though when poor, the wait staff didn't acknowledge the issue and generally avoided contact unless they had something to deliver. Better communication would have helped manage expectations.

These are very addressable items and will help improve the overall experience as Raj moves on to his next venture. I am a big fan and I look forward to following him to his next venue!!

This was closing night at Bistro Blanc and everything was as wonderful as it was the first time we dined there 5 years ago when we moved to Maryland. Every bite was absolutely delicious and every sip so pleasing. We will undoubtedly miss this place...

My husband and I like to fashion ourselves as "Foodies". We have toddlers now so unfortunately we don't get out to restaurants as much as we'd like to. This place, by far, was one of our favorites in the entire Baltimore area! (Woodberry Kitchen would get our other top 2 nod). It is solid every time- even if one thing doesn't blow you away, four other things will. We were so incredibly sad to learn that it would be closing and dragged our two kids to dine with us for brunch on their last day. I hope they will find another place to reopen soon!

Unfortunately Howard Cty has lost one of the best restaurants around....can't wait for them to reopen at their new location. They lost their lease...stupid landowner to give up on a sure sure thing.

CLOSING! GO NOW WHILE YOU CAN! This is such a terrific restaurant. I am sad they are closing. Saturday, May 28 is the last day of business for this gem. GO NOW!

unfortunately, this restaurant, which was a gem, in our local area, is closing it's doors May 28 because they lost their lease. We went for one last hurrah, and were told they were out of several items on the menu and wine list. None the less, we had avery good meal. We hope that Raj, the owner, will find a place nearby to open it up soon so the locals who have been frequenting this place will continue supporting it.

We have been trying to get to Bistro Blanc for a few years. We came for Mother's Day!
Superb choice. The food was excellent! We have been to many restaurants in the District, Maryland and VIrginia. We were exceptionally pleased with the results. The service was prompt and friendly. What a terrific place! We will be returning. Hats off to the chef and the entire staff! You helped make a memorable evening for my 86 year young mom!

Rockfish was great. Duck was disappointing. One dessert was great. The other not so much.

My wife and I went for date night . We were seated near the keyboard player (a very talented gentleman with a good assortment of arrangements). Wait staff was friendly and efficient and the steak and duck breast dinners were both perfect. We really enjoyed our experience.

We have been here a number of times over the years for special events. While consistently good in the beginning, it has been hit or miss the last 3-4 times. This last event, with 14 people, was a miss and the last time we will be using the restaurant. We had reserved the private room for our event and when we got there, someone else was in the room. We were seated in the main dining room. Since it was a Monday night, the place was pretty dead. You would think that we would get good service and the kitchen would be pretty much dedicated to our party. The opposite was true. We arrived at 7pm and took over half an hour just to get drinks and appetizers. Then, it took forever for the food order to come out. Feedback on the food ranged from great to disappointment.

Phil our waiter was absolutely tremendous. He truly deserves a raise. The bread was outstanding and the vegetable dish was so unique. They make a tremendous Caesar salad. Give Phil a raise now

We got there and asked our stand in waiter how we access the wine tastung and explained everything in detail. When our waiter finally came to wait on us he said the tasting bar was broken and had been down for a few weeks. I had out of town family here and i have ravex so much about this tasting opportunity that we made reservatins only to find this out. How very,very dissappointing. Things like this should be posted on your reservation post and on the front door.

We have been to Bistro Blanc for dinner many times but not for brunch. Our brunch was excellent. Ample selection, good food/wine and service in a quiet setting. It's well worth the trip to Glenelg.

Easter Brunch was delightful. The quiche and the smoky bacon omelet were both wonderful.
