Good place for dinner. We had a mushroom risotto and the chicken, which were good. The day soup was tasteless and the waiter took it out from our bill.

The owners are lovely and took such good care of us on our first night in Stowe, that we went back the next night as well to sample more on the wonderful menu. The burgers, truffle fries and steak were amazing.
Even thought the restaurant was very busy we received wonderful attention from our servers, Michael and Cara.
This is a gem.

I love this restaurant. There are many options in Stowe, but this bistro always rises to the level expected. Never disappointing and always creative, the bistro is a wonderful, local treat. The service is always professional and timely, but never obsequious. The offerings are always innovative, often reimagining classics with local ingredients. Try the owner-made pasta, the truffle fries, the duck confit, or the salmon.

Great dinner. We had not been to Ten Acres Loge in quite some time and the food (gluten free for my wife was necessary) was terrific. Our waitress was very knowledgeable, attentive, and pleasant. A good but not overly crowded group of folks on a Friday night which made the place active, but cozy. The prices were also not over the top despite it being Stowe. Better than expected evening. Thank you to the ownership and staff.

This was our second time here. Both times the food was excellent and the wait staff was excellent. I had the Duck Confit and my wife had the seafood special. We would order both meals again.

This is a place for foodies! Amazing duck confit! Loved the modern farm decor and candlelit warmth.

Six of us ate dinner here and it was very disappointing. The service was extremely slow. Our first course came on time but then we waited a long time for our main meal. Three ordered linguine and clams. They received fettuccine and clams which was cold and inedible. Two ordered steak frites and it too was cold. My grandsons were so hungry by the time their meals arrived that they ate them anyway. We are from out of time and it was Christmas vacation week so maybe they just couldn’t handle the crowd. The cheese plate was nice and the baby spinach salad was fine . The spicy tomato soup was good but the food should come to the table hot and in a reasonable time. Fettuccine is not linguine

Excellent mussels, fantastic bread, great duck confit, good mushroom risotto (a little bland for my taste, I prefer more cheese). Courteous but not intrusive service.

If you want a cozy Vermont style restaurant with great good, service and ambiance, this place has it all. Everything the waitress recommended was fabulous! We brought my 12 year old and 16 old and there were able to find something to eat and loved their dishes. Would definitely go back if I am ever in Stowe.

more every day dining for us. We didn't find the setting to be the Special Occasion or romantic birthday meal place we were hoping for. Holly was a fantastic waitress and food was good. Saturday night and it was empty when we got there and a few other parties when we left so you didnt get that cozy crowded feel. Super stinky fish smell when we walked in, too. a mediocre experience.

This was our first time dining with Ten Acres and we had an over the top experience. Our reservation was late in the evening and we did not feel rushed at all. We came in 15 minutes late for a 915 reservation when the establishment closed at 10. We were invited to even stay and enjoy our wine by the fire while they closed up. We were given a gift certificate for the spa at our resort from our waitress! She was absolutely amazing and we will return on our next trip to Stowe.

This was our second visit to Ten Acres, overall it was good but not as good as the first. My main concern is the somewhat limited "pre-winter" menu. My wife had the spaghetti squash and I had the duck, with a cheese plate as an appetizer. The food and service were very good.
There are so many restaurant options in Stowe, we will try others before trying Ten Acres again

We had a wonderful evening this past Friday. Mark was able to accommodate us in the private dining room - even after we arrived 20 minutes late! Our waiter was great and the food was delicious. Thank you for making our dinner a memorable experience.

The fireplace did not draft well and smoke filled the room. I now need to get my down coat cleaned from the smoke smell. The smoke filled the room and they had to open the windows to clear it out. Not their best night

We always make it a point to dine here when we go to Stowe. Their margaritas alone are worth the trip! Best in America! The food is wonderful, ambiance terrific. The only thing I cannot understand is why Linda does not get a cappuccino machine! It would be the perfect dinner ender! Other than that the place is perfect!!

We met friends for a casual Friday night dinner and our only complaint was that the steak was very overcooked and completely tasteless. It came with a mound of thin frites but they were also way overcooked and not enjoyable at all. Others in our party had the lobster which they very much enjoyed. Wine suggestion was good and desserts were excellent. Would try again but not the steak or any kind of meat that requires careful temperature control.

We happened upon the Bistro in ou travels in the Stowe area and decided to take a chance on it. What a lovely quaint place it is. It had a lovely bar with extra seating in comfy chairs and couches. We actually went directly to our table but the waiter did not rush us to order dinner. Our dinners were fantastic, starting with Linda’s homemade bread. Delicious! We would definitely give The Bistro thumbs up so if you haven’t tried it and are in the area, give it a try. I recommend making a reservation because it is a very popular place.

We were a party of six and all were pleased with their meals. Everything was delicious and well prepared and presented. Our waiter was excellent. He was very cheerful and attentive without being overbearing. One in our party has a food allergy and the chef was very accommodating.
All in all it was a great experience. We would definitely recommend Ten Acres Bistro.

We had a great evening at Ten Acres. The food and drinks were delicious. My husband and I both had the lobster and it lived up to its reviews. A bit on the expensive side but definitely worth it for a nice evening out! It is the one fine dining restaurant we return to when we are in Stowe.
