Bistro At Ten Acres
Mussels are divine. Pork shank, lobster, seafood enchantment (Artic Char) did not disappoint. Service was outstanding but the ambiance was the best thing about this quaint little place. Sit outside and enjoy the sun setting over the cows in the pasture.
Great ambiance! Awesome food & service. View from patio was perfect.
A wonderful dinner. We were able to sit outside, on a lovely evening. Service from Mikey was just right. The food outstanding.
Our previous visit was 2 years ago, they have not lowered the bar even one millimeter. Fantastic!
Wonderfully warm decor. Excellent service and food that can be charmingly eclectic and tasty.
Simply incredible. Our second time there and I couldn’t be more pleased. Pork shank was cooked excellently and the duck was to die for. This is by far our favorite place but Stowe. Thank you!
The meal was delicious. Our group of 4 was beyond satisfied. We each had a different entree and all were extremely happy. Been coming to Vt for more than 15 years and it was our first time eating at the Bistro. It will not be our last!
Beautiful setting overlooking green pasture and a gorgeous sunset over the mountains. Food was good. Pineapple salad was a bit disappointing. Mussels were delicious. Mahi Mahi was delicious.
Great restaurant. Food and service always good. Ambiance of the setting here is simply beautiful
Great menu in a wonderful location. Server was very attentive a pleasant. We had the pan seared lobster and it did not disappoint. We will definitely be back.
Beautiful old country farmhouse with amazing food. The pecan pie dessert was outstanding.
There is a lovely view and patio dining. The server was very friendly and attentive. The mussels were tasty, but the brisket sandwich was lacking. We were hoping the meal would have been outstanding, but it was just ordinary. Not sure whether we would go back. Stowe has many restaurants which we hope would be better.
What a delightful dinner ! Perfect margaritas followed by exquisite lobster dinner! All outside in the wonderful summer weather! Panoramic view only marred by mental imagery of what incredible multi-hued view it would be in the autumn! Service was very personal and professional-and we kept watch on a team of cows lodging several hundred feet away. Do not worry-they were not listed as a menu option! Enjoy!
Great service by Ricky. Generous and delicious portions. Beautiful scenic setting with cows across the street. It was idyllic.
We went to Bistro at Ten Acres on Father's Day with our eight year old son. All three of us thought it was an unusually good restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, the setting is lovely, and Linda, our server, made us feel right at home. Three very enthusiastic thumbs up! We'll be heading back soon...
Absolutely delicious food, served by friendly staff. A real treat with the gorgeous mountain view! Definitely a must-do in a visit to Stowe, VT!
This location is beautiful! From our table we watched the cows wander through a beautiful rolling field framed by mountainous peaks and valleys. The food was outstanding, I highly recommend the duck confit (which was prepared with an apricot sauce and so incredibly moist and delicious.) The watermelon and mint gazpacho was delightfully light and refreshing, perfect for the warm summer evening. Incredibly cozy atmosphere and kind, gracious staff. Easily one of the top dinner spots in Stowe.
Great food and great service!
My husband and I dined here for the first time on Friday May 25th at 6pm. We have been to Stowe a few times over the years (we had a home in Warren, VT at Sugarbush for over 25 years). This place was highly recommended by local Stowe friends. The hostess and waitstaff person "Linda" were friendly and attentive. We took Linda's suggestions and got the fresh oysters
(which I would not normally order, being so far from the ocean), but they were great. My husband ordered the special that evening the "Maryland Crab" dinner and I got the mushroom risotto. I took 3/4 of my dinner home for lunch the next, but my husband cleaned his plate. The salad was delicious and the bread was incredible. I would highly recommend this very nice place to anyone who is visiting Stowe. They were in the Stowe chowder festival/competition the next day and I voted their seafood chowder number one out of the 15 restaurants that competed in this annual event in Stowe.
We’ve been wanting to try this restaurant, and figured it would be a good place to go for our anniversary. It did not disappoint! The food was delicious, the service top notch, and the atmosphere was relaxing. We will definitely itely gobs k!
Me and my husband enjoyed the evening at the Bistro. The ambiance and the atmosphere amazing as the food, so fresh and beautifully prepared . Our waitress Cara, very nice and careful to any of our request. We will definitely be back when in Stowe.
Thanks. Patrizia and Mario
We often choose The Bistro at Ten Acres for special occasions! The food, wine and service is always exceptional! We love that the chef uses fresh and local produce! We often talk about just going to the bar for a cocktail and light dinner and will make it a point to do just that! Well done Bistro!
Our entrees were delicious and the dining room quaint. Service was friendly and attentive. Attention to detail was spot-on throughout the entire experience. We were happy we didn't permit foul weather to keep us away--it was a lovely Saturday evening meal.
Excellent food and great service in a cool atmosphere. While we miss the ability to stay at 10 Acres Lodge the Bistro is a must for dinner when at Stowe. Highly recommend.
Would recommend - great menu, quiet, nice decor. Good for special occasion or date.
Locals had recommended this restaurant on our last visit to Stowe so we booked ahead for our March visit. Lovely setting with roaring fire place, open brick and beamed ceiling. We were given the best table in the house with a bay view over the countryside. Gorgeous.
Menu was interesting with many favourites and we went with the owners recommendations.
Food was delicious and plentiful. Soup was one of the best potato and leek soups EVER! Red Thai Curry was delicious and spicy but not blow your head off. My husband enjoyed the duck.
Really lovely evening. We will be back. If you want a romantic evening, go after 8pm to avoid families with noisy children!
We love this place food is great staff is great definitely coming back time and time again!
An enjoyable and relaxing dinner at an Inn in Stowe. Food was delicious. After the meal we were able to enjoy dessert and after dinner drinks on the couch in front of the fire place. Will go back next time we are in Stowe
Our second visit to Bistro At Ten Acres and it didn't disappoint. I liked it just as much as the last time and can't wait to go back again. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. I messed up the reservation by making it for a party of 2 when we were actually 4. Linda took care of us. She asked us to go get a drink at the bar while they figured out how to fit us in and they made it happen.
everything was perfect but the food was really salty
Wonderful food and drinks. Staff was so accommodating to our children. Will definitely return the next time we are in Stowe.
What an amazing little restaurant. Everything was amazing.
Set in a lovely inn off route 108 heading to Stowe ski resort, the setting is tranquil and rustic. The food was excellent, flavorful, very creative and well presented. Recommend the oysters (sublime!), lobster, and risotto. The service was perfect. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Very nice restaurant, warm atmosphere, friendly service and great food
Great meal- wonderful setting- friendly and cozy. Good bar menu and the menu was creative with well thought out flavors.
Excellent restaurant - best in Stowe- menu, food, service and ambience all set the standard in Stowe.
We were tired of eating at our resort, so we ventured out with our four kids. The drive was well worth it. We loved everything and would love to return.
First time and will try again! Food, service, and atmosphere was fabulous!
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Vermont and otherwise! The menu is creative. I have been to Bistro at Ten Acres many times, and have always had incredibly delicious meals and drinks. It’s impossible to go wrong!
The ambiance is relaxing and feels like home, especially in winter. The service is reliable and always helpful. Bistro at Ten Acres serves contemporary cuisine, on trend, using The best of Vermont ingredients, served in the coziest settings.
Went here with 2 families after a ski day - food was fantastic, a neat, quaint, rustic Vermont experience.
Service was great, all around good place to go. Would highly recommend.
