This was one of the best restaurants my girlfriend and I have ever been to. Upon walking in for a 7pm reservation we were met with a warm welcome from Linda and immediately seated. The atmosphere was perfect for either a date night or for a family night, with a cozy lodge feel. The waiter was tremendous, the food was extraordinary, and the overall experience was top notch. The pork shank and risotto were two of the best meals I’ve had. Highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in Stowe.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable meal at Bistro at Ten Acres. Our server was attentive and the atmosphere was casually elegant with plenty of room between tables and a variety of rooms within which to sit. We made a last minute reservation on a holiday weekend and although we ran a little late we were graciously accommodated. We enjoyed the locally sourced cheese plate, the duck confit (my husband said it was the best he's ever had), and the seafood epiphany (scallops).

It was amazing, as usual! We were there with our family, 6 of us, including our 2 grandsons (3 & 6 years old). Michael was our server and he was terrific! He was great with the kids, even offering to put their order in first. The food is always excellent!! Can’t say enough good things about Mark and Linda, the owners. Love this place!

It was a very good dinner. We went there for Valentine’s Day and we had a great time. Variated menu and good food. The attendants were very kind and the ambiance is cozy.

On a busy night servers should be better trained to handle patrons. Ours was friendly but not familiar with proper restaurant procedures to make for a higher quality experience. The food was good but not foodie quality. On the positive side the ambiance and location is terrific.

We brought a group of friends to The Bistro at Ten Acres for Valentines evening. Our friends had never been there, and they were very impressed. They gave us a nice table for 6 in the back dining room. The food was delicious and generous. Ricky, our server, was great and very attentive. He was able to pick up certain signals and seemed to know what we wanted even before we asked for it.

Only ok. Our table was not ready when we arrived. The food was fine. Our server was very nice. Diners who were seated near us seemed to be raving about the food so perhaps we were just unlucky. I just felt a bit underwhelmed considering the reviews it gets.

Our dinner was fantastic! I called ahead and let them know we were celebrating my partner's birthday (and that he was gluten-free) and they were so accommodating! The waitress knew off the top of her head what was gluten-free, and they brought out a gluten-free dessert with a candle in it (on the house). So thoughtful!

The ambiance was super cozy, with a nice cozy fire going, and nice broad comfy chairs with a charming cow hide print on them!

10/10!

While vacationing at Stowe,VT, we always dine at Bistro at 10 Acres. The food is delicious, cocktails are superb and the decor is beautiful. The owners, Linda and Mark, are gracious and welcoming.

Good place for dinner. We had a mushroom risotto and the chicken, which were good. The day soup was tasteless and the waiter took it out from our bill.

The owners are lovely and took such good care of us on our first night in Stowe, that we went back the next night as well to sample more on the wonderful menu. The burgers, truffle fries and steak were amazing.
Even thought the restaurant was very busy we received wonderful attention from our servers, Michael and Cara.
This is a gem.

I love this restaurant. There are many options in Stowe, but this bistro always rises to the level expected. Never disappointing and always creative, the bistro is a wonderful, local treat. The service is always professional and timely, but never obsequious. The offerings are always innovative, often reimagining classics with local ingredients. Try the owner-made pasta, the truffle fries, the duck confit, or the salmon.

Great dinner. We had not been to Ten Acres Loge in quite some time and the food (gluten free for my wife was necessary) was terrific. Our waitress was very knowledgeable, attentive, and pleasant. A good but not overly crowded group of folks on a Friday night which made the place active, but cozy. The prices were also not over the top despite it being Stowe. Better than expected evening. Thank you to the ownership and staff.

This was our second time here. Both times the food was excellent and the wait staff was excellent. I had the Duck Confit and my wife had the seafood special. We would order both meals again.

Six of us ate dinner here and it was very disappointing. The service was extremely slow. Our first course came on time but then we waited a long time for our main meal. Three ordered linguine and clams. They received fettuccine and clams which was cold and inedible. Two ordered steak frites and it too was cold. My grandsons were so hungry by the time their meals arrived that they ate them anyway. We are from out of time and it was Christmas vacation week so maybe they just couldn’t handle the crowd. The cheese plate was nice and the baby spinach salad was fine . The spicy tomato soup was good but the food should come to the table hot and in a reasonable time. Fettuccine is not linguine
