Slow inattentive service. Waiter was MIA most of lunch.

Had a very nice dinner. From the hostess to the server, and bartender, everything was on point.

Service was especially slow. Food was ok. Normally a great venue, truthfully my group was disappointed. Perhaps they were training new personnel, but it was confusing as to who was exactly servicing our table. Our first drinks didn’t even arrive until nearly 30 min after we arrived - and they weren’t busy. In fact, quite the opposite. Let’s put it this way, if I have to apologize to my team for a restaurant experience, it’s not a good thing.

The service, the food, the drinks were all 5 stars. We loved it!

Although it's a French restaurant there was a very small selection of french food and no french deserts...

First time there, won't be back. Service and food were terrible. The drinks from the bar were good. Took a long time to get them.

Our waiter was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. We have frequented Bistro Aix numerous times. The food and ambience bring us back regularly.

Very good snapper sandwich. Service somewhat slow but it is the holiday season. The other customers with me also enjoyed their lunches.

Request Makayla as your server. She was personable but reserved, attentative but unobtrusive. So relaxing to just enjoy the company of your dining companions without worrying about your meal service (plates cleared, beverages replenished, etc.).

A lovely ambiance for our one-year anniversary, great drink varieties. Staff was helpful, recommended lots of stuff and we ended up getting the special for the night, which was as great as they made it seem! They also cleaned the tables thoroughly so we felt more assured for COVID precautions.

I went for my anniversary dinner and expect more in the quality of the food. Poor quality and flavor on the food. Everything else is very good

Awful. Gone are the days of this place being a decent restaurant. I give it less than 6 months to remain open. Skip it. The service was dreadful. From the greeting forward. Ordered Escargot that’s a tough one as they are basically heat and serve but served with hard quarter sized chips of bread? Bread for the table was equivalent to a loaf of bleached flour Winn Dixie $1.49 bread nothing French. Artisan or rustic about it. Pizza was a disaster. Mushroom pizza. The crust was a thick gooey mess of dough with a scant covering of mushrooms. Sent it back got the check listened to a lame excuse from our waiter who then tells us he is the operations partner. Moved on and had a nice dinner at Rue St MARC. Date night rescued. I have given Aix a chance from it’s ownership changes from Tom Gray when it was excellent, Forking amazing restaurant group who lowered the bar significantly to this group who doesn’t have a clue and will shutter its doors.

The food and service was excellent. Social distancing was good, no issues.

A delightful evening. A first-class place with a varied menu and reasonable prices. Aix used to be quite noisy but spacing the tables has reduced the number of patrons and the noise level is very acceptable.

This place had nice service and ambiance but the food was not excellent just alright. For the price point, I don’t see myself going back unless for happy hour, as they seemed to have a nice bar and staff.

Wow! Scallops appetizer special was hands down one of the best dishes I’ve had in the last 6 months. I’m not sure what was in the creamy gravy/sauce underneath the scallops and healthy chunk bacon, but I almost asked for a cup to take home. Service and ambiance was great as well. Even with the reduced menu I still found so many things I want to try. Definitely headed back soon!!!

Ahhh a bistro with nice provincial style cooking. Went there for lunch with my wife and friend. What better way to start with an apéritif so I ordered 3 kir’s but no kirs on the menu, and a no when I asked. I ordered the classic steak frites, that was nicely cooked  “a point” the wine I wanted wasn’t in stock. But I was recommended a very good Bordeaux instead. The cream brûlée was good. And finished off with an expresso. Pour moi it was a little over priced for the overall experience.

You know, Bistro Aix has just never been the same since it was sold several years ago. Our server and service was great. The food quality for the price was poor.

We are extremely cautious about eating out these days so I was happy to see everyone masked up with social distance. We had the calamari, wedge salad, and filet mignon. The food was excellent as was the service provided by Kendall. The wine list had a good selection and the cocktails menu had many good option. I recommend the the Bistro Mule. Delicious!

Nice evening out amidst the pandemic

Great spot for late night, though light fare restricted to 3 pizzas (excellent though) or salads w shrimp, chicken & forgot 3rd item. Could use some sandwich choices especially after 9PM. Tho pizza was very good, it sat under heat lights too long, while awaiting 2nd diner's salad. Server busy talking w her associate, as pizza sat there right in front of her!?

Great meal and service was excellent as usual. Fresh mozz and tomatoes appetizer was our favorite.

Always a great dining experience at Bistro Aix. I had the escargot which were delicious. The happy hour special included the sausage and goat cheese pizza at a great price so got that. You essentially get a whole pizza! It was so good. My husband had the short rib special which was also delicious.
Service was great and they have started live music again, which was nice.

We had a great evening. Service was good. The only issue was my filet was over cooked. I asked for medium and it was well done. Didn’t really want to return it just because it was still good but preference would have been to have it a little less cooked. Appetizers were delicious and the drinks were great!

First date night eating inside a restaurant. Cocktails were excellent. Caprese Salad was delicious. Mussels were overcooked but still tasty. Mushroom Rigatoni was spot on with a variety of mushrooms with a nice chewy texture and a very rich cream sauce. Steak Frites included crispy brussels sprouts that were amazing. Steak was ordered medium and it came out rare with a cold center. I intended to share the steak with my wife but she doesn’t prefer rare so she only ate one bite from each end. She did eat most of the Brussels sprouts, they were that good. Creme brûlée was really good. Cote du Rhone white wine recommendation was perfect pairing with dessert. Server was excellent but very busy so it was13 minutes from when we sat down until she was able to take down our drink order. Men’s bathroom could have used a good cleaning. Restaurant was busy but tables were socially distant. Overall a good meal but the bill came to $225 for two people which is a bit too much.

Date night with my wife. Such a perfect evening and meal. Jesse, our server was incredible. The food was incredible, our cocktails were delicious and the restaurant was so clean and pretty. I’ll definitely go back.

Went there for our anniversary and it was good service. The food was a bit overpriced since it was not the best tasting so i was a little disappointed. They kept the tables spaced out which i appreciated during the pandemic. The drinks were really good so I would go back just for the drinks!

This was our first visit to Bistro Aix. This is fairly upscale establishment and service was right at par for restaurant of this caliber.

My wife had the Pan-roasted Salmon and I the Cioppino. The salmon was adequate and accompanying sides OK, but she would not order this again.

The Cioppino was very good, as my wife would attest to. I very much liked it.

As stated, the service was on par - not certain if the staff was short but we were never left overly long.

We may try this restaurant again.
