Happy Hour: M-F 3:00pm-6:30pm
Dinner: M-Sa 5:00pm-9:00pm
This was a wonderful experience, the food was delicious, the ambiance was lovely, was quiet so you could actually have a conversation without raising your voice, and the service was exceptional. We celebrated a birthday and the birthday dessert was presented and it was fabulous. Would definitely recommend to friends and will come back myself.
First visit to Bistro 7 and was very impressed. Food was great, the beat salad was to die for and the scallops were prepared well! Easily accommodated entrees with gluten free options! Service once it started was very good but a little slow for drinks. Ambience is good but the restaurant was noisy, difficult for intimate conversation for our anniversary. Would definitely will recommend and return.
Booked dinner for 4 on their web site. Had a nice bottle of red wine. Beer was cold. Steaks very good. Waitress was attentive, good personality. Provided good service. Would return and recommend location to others.
First time at this restaurant for dinner. I wanted to try a new place. Overall, it’s a average restaurant. Even though the food quality was good, the service and atmosphere is lacking. I won’t be returning again for dinner because there are much better options around for dinner that offer a much better value.
There are good things and Bad things about this restaurant. Atmosphere was good, but the seating was uncomfortable. Food was good, but expensive. For example, I ordered a garden salad and it came in a cup of soup size bowl (too small). It was impossible to eat without spilling on the table. We were there for about 15 minutes and I was assuming we were not getting any bread as part of the meal, but they finally brought some very small bread sticks which were disappointing. Overall, the quality of the food was good but the serving size amount for the Price was unimpressive. My ribeye steak was very thin and small for a $38 steak. However it was cooked perfectly and the demi-glaze sauce was awesome.
Great food and service! Definitely going to return! Highly recommended!
Had the rack of lamb special. Lamb was excellent but accompaniments were only good. While moderately expensive, you get a lot of food (what was left of my meal was enough for another dinner). Large dining area tastefully segmented so it didn't seem so large - contemporary decorations. Notable wine list. Unfortunately, they were out of my first choice, but second choice was excellent. Service was attentive but not intrusive - excellent.
Went in for a family dinner. Everyone was pleased with their meal.
Hidden gem 5/18/18
Large group dinner. Spectacular food and service.
We eat dinner and small plates all the time at Bistro 7 and its excellent. This Mother’s Day brunch was not so good. The over medium eggs were hard, the eggs Benedict over done, the wait for the food was long. They really should stick to lunch and dinner.
Spectacular. As Usual. My go to for special events and happy Hour is awesome.
The cedar plank salmon is absolutely outstanding and not to be missed.
Bistro 7 is our favorite restaurant in Reno. Everything on the menu is delicious and the service is phenomenal. It’s our go-to restaurant for special occasions and we’ve celebrated both our birthdays here this year.
Unfortunately the food did not taste as good as it should have for the price. Presentation was beautiful but most of us felt it was too salty.
The occasion was my wife's birthday. Sarah was our server and she was great. The meals were superb. I had the sea bass which was outstanding. Another treat is the spinach dip with warm flatbread. Can 't wait to go back.
Good food and friendly service. The vegetarian pizza was somewhat disappointing and the vegetable pasta was surprisingly dry. The soups, tomato Brie and French onion, however, were excellent and served hot. My manhattan was expertly prepared. We really enjoy the atmosphere at Bistro 7 but fell that the menu could use some expansion as well as updating. We'll be back again.
Great wine list, even by the glass had a nice, quality selection. Service was prompt, friendly and very informative. I asked about where they get their salmon and the server told me an entire story about the method of farming. Quite impressive. Unfortunately, the food was less than stellar. Salmon was overcooked, asparagus was thin and wilted, and mashed potatoes were tasteless. My first visit will probably be my last. I would only consider returning to try a different dish because my server was so great.
Great food and service.
This was our first time to visit and we will definitely return.
Always great. A hidden gem
Outstanding food; particularly the plank salmon. I would also recommend the creative pizzas.
In town for vacation, found this spot on open table. We had a fantastic time.
The salmon was outstanding!
We went there for Valentine's day fixed priced special menu. Their beef wellington was perfectly cooked! It was a very enjoyable dinner.
Always a great experience at Bistro 7, I love the food, service, atmosphere and a great wine list.
Ribeye steak was think, under seasoned and not as good as one I could make at home...
The waiter filled our peligrino cglass with tap water then didn’t replace it.
The mashed potatoes were boring, the poke’ lacked flavor and service was Ho Hum!
Not thrilled! :(
Great staff that was attentive and provided great service. The specials were great to select from for the entre. The wine options were enjoyable.
I have lived here since 2013 and have drove past this place 100's of times. We finally went there for drinks and dinner on a Sat. night. Very pleased by it. Great bar layout. Next time I think it would be nice to just have dinner there as many of the others did. Great service, great food. We will be back to try the pizzas.
It was our first time there. We received great services and the server was very attentive. The food tasted wonderful. I will definitely return.
It was New Year’s Eve and the menu was prix fixe. Everything was “fine”but nothing was extraordinary especially for the price.
New Year's Eve dinner
Great service, casual atmosphere and the menu diverse, a little something for everyone
Creative menu with outstanding Sea Bass. It was a great locations for a business lunch.
Everyone thought the food was good, but the "cons" outway that "pro". The service was slow and the server seemed forgetful, the noise level was way too high, and it was way too cold for customer comfort. One in our party waited about 10 minutes for a cup of de-caf coffee as they had to brew it. In our coffee-obsessed society, what restaurant doesn't have coffee ready?
Great as always, Megan's service attentive and expert.
Most of our group had the Chilean Sea Bass, which was wonderful. We had a booth that had plenty of room for the 4 of us, but, it was hard to hear the conversation due to ambient noise. Otherwise, nice restaurant.
This is our favorite place for birthday dinners with the girls. The food and drinks are wonderful, it’s not too noisy and the service is always top notch.
We celebrated a great Nutcracker performance that our daughter had been working hard towards. It was a beautiful show! Then to celebrate, we knew it would be wonderful to eat at bistro seven because food is great!
The food was good - but nothing to write home about; we waited about 15 min. for 2 wine glasses, another 15-20 min. for the food....
