   Great salad weather and great place to enjoy a dinner salad. The beet salad has been superb on my last two visits - piles of beets, lots of greens and the crunch of pistachios with a lovely piece of salmon for added protein. Matched with a Rombauer Chardonnay and I couldn't be happier. Husband enjoyed the market salad, but think the beet one was better. Our vegan friends always find a good selection to choose from - splitting a salad and pasta. Everyone was happy. Of course, Sarah always makes everyone feel comfortable.

   This is the first time I have been disappointed with Bistro 7. I felt like I was eating leftovers. The chicken piccata sauce was congealed (noodles seemed homemade which was a plus). My husband said the pork tacos were dry. The strawberry tart was soggy and did not seem fresh. Our server was pleasant and attentive, but my margarita ordered with salt came without it, the first course arrived at the same time as the main course, and it took 3 tries to get separate bills (we usually run up a larger bill and specifically requested that each couple's bill be separate-asked hostess once and server twice). On the positive side, the hostess was very pleasant and accommodating, the atmosphere is pleasant and the noise level is low enough to converse comfortably. I will try Bistro 7 again because it has been quite nice in the past and the menu provides a lot of variety.

   My filet mignon was absolutely delicious. Our wine pairing suggestion was on point. My boyfriend’s steak frites was not really his favorite but his old fashioned was another favorite. We always have a great experience dining at Bistro 7

   Fresh, seasonal menu. Everything is made in-house and excellent quality. Large party experienced excellent service, with ample staff to anticipate every need. Delightful find. We will be back!

    Again the"Special" stole the show. A nicely done - medium duck breast in mole sauce. This was an interesting pairing, but superb outcome. Served with a rice pilaf , asaragus and a radish salad. Would love to see this on a regular basis. The Romburgh Chardonnay made for a perfect meal. The entire staff makes us feel welcome, and our regular server Sarah is always on top of our drink and appetizer order. This has been a favorite for years, but more so after the pandemic.

    I would definitely come back and also recommend this restaurant. We had very good service and the food was delicious. My only negative was that it took at least 15-20 min to bring out my husbands birthday dessert and no candle. That was very disappointing and we were close to leaving.

    Service was very so lots of full tables but not enough wait staff waited 25 to be greeted at our table and order drinks Food items listed look enticing but lack seasoning and flavor. Not much attention to detail Was planning a family dinner will most likely look elsewhere

    The food was great! The value was excellent. Our server was attentive but not too much. Great balance. We had the Calamari appetizer which is always amazing, a Caesar salad and the Chicken Pizza (first time we tried pizza). The pizza had lot of toppings and was excellent.

    We chose two of our favorites - I had an excellent caesar dinner salad with the lamb lollipops. Small courses but satisfying. My husband had his fallback of salmon. Perfectly prepared with sides of mash and fresh veggies. The staff as usual, welcoming making us feel at home, especially Sarah our server.

    Positives first. The special (duck) was amazing. The appetizers and drinks were great. I had the filet. It was cooked nicely but underseasoned. The asparagus was oversalted. Another person had the bbq sandwich, and the sauce was really too sweet salt would have balanced it out. There was no salt on the table. I tend to get more appetizers here because they are always so good, but they haven't changed the menu in a long time.

    Our server was FANTASTIC! The ONLY thing that was disturbing (it had nothing to do with food, service, price) were the two small children running around in the dining area. The food, service, price and atmosphere for date night was incredible.

    The Specials always seem to raise the bar at the Bistro. A seafood risotto with deep fried soft shelled crab may have been my best meal there ever. Paired with a Rombaurer Chardonnay made for a truly memorable meal. So good that I didn't want to dig into my husband's vegetarian pasta, which was also on the special menu. The bite I had was also excellent, but not enough to pull me away from my own dinner. Staff is also a reason we return. Sarah our server makes us feel right at home. Everyone from the manager to the busy boys are friendly and welcoming. Great low key spot in South Reno.

    They accommodated food sensitivities nicely. The Chilean Sea Bass was excellent. Unfortunately, the Steak Frites was disappointing to all four guest that ordered it. Steak was under seasoned and did not have a good char on it. The bearnaise sauce was bland. Very disappointing.

    Service sucked. I noted on the Open Table reservation that we were celebrating my wife's birthday and not only did we not get a comped desert or anything but the waitress never even mentioned it. And she was super slow. Caesar salad dressing didn't taste anything like how it's supposed to taste. Garlic mashed potatoes barely even smelled like garlic, let along taste like anything. Ribeye was like super smashed thin and I got well-done and rare in the same cut. Reasonably tasty but food here is pretty bland. Won't be back - a shame because it looks like a cool pace to keep on the roster.

    The menu wasn't very appealing, but we decided to give it a try due to the good reviews. The green bean fries were super greasy, and the crust did not adhere. Cocktails were mediocre; one was overpowered by compari, the other a "sour" was sickly sweet. We got the land special and the sea special. The land special was a roasted half-chicken with mashed potatoes and broccolini, topped with a tomato bell pepper sauce. Portion was large; chicken was lacking in flavor and not completely cooked through (we should've cut the chicken apart to check for doneness first rather than eating it from the "outside/top"). The sea special was halibut wellington with lemon caper orzo and broccolini. The halibut wellington was really dry. The orzo was also on the dry side and lukewarm; some were clumped together, and the lemon caper flavor was just slightly detectable. Ambience was decent. Advice to not look up or you'll see the duct diffusers covered in a layer of dust. Service was succinct and professional.

    We love Bistro 7, one of our favorite places to eat in Reno. We had reservations for Valentine’s Day. It was spectacular, the waitress was exceptionally nice and accommodating. The food and wine was great the steak wouldn’t have been my top choice for such an occasion but overall great. Thank you Bistro 7 for a great time.

    There were 4 of us for their Valentine Prix Fixe Dinner. $95 per person, cocktails not included, bringing the bill w/tip to $260.00 for 2 people. 2 of us ordered the fish wellington, which was WAY overcooked, dry, heavy breading, the salads did not come with salad dressing, ordered some which was brought to us, the lamb lollypops were delicious, the ahi tuna app. was nothing special, not much flavor. Our waitress was the best item of the evening, very attentive and on the ball. For the amount of food, the poorly overcooked fish, the run of the mill salad, it was all overpriced. $260.00 for 2 is a lot of money to spend for dinner, disappointing, will not return.
