My partner and his family went to Bistro67 for his and his twin brothers birthday dinner last night. Our reservation was for 6:30 (6 people) during our visit, there was a max of 5 other tables at 4 people each. Even though it wasn’t busy, our waitress didn’t take our appetizer order until 40 minutes after we arrived and our dinner order 1 hour and 20 minutes after we arrived. 2 people ordered the burgers which looked and smelled great, 1 person ordered the pasta which also looked amazing, and 3 of us ordered the salmon. Sadly, the salmon had minimal taste even though each plate cost $36 (there was only a salad, the salmon, and a steak at $42 that were gluten free options) and took 40minutes to hit the table after being ordered. Given the long gaps in between seeing our waitress and apps/mains arriving, our visit ended up being from 6:30-9PM. Some of us drove from Belleville while the other half of our group drove from Toronto. As someone who has worked in incredibly fast paced environments as a waitress, I can understand why it can take a little longer to be served. However, given that the other 4-5 tables already had their mains before they took our order, I cannot say I have an understanding of that. Due to the length of time, my partner and I weren’t able to do any birthday celebrations after the dinner order visit his father on the way home as I had been up since before 5AM for work, and had to wake up before 5AM again today to be at the school I was working at today. Overall, I recognize and understand that this is a teaching restaurant, but serving tables is not a part of that curriculum. Sadly, I was very disappointed in my first ever visit here and will not be returning.

The food was okay overall, but the appetizer (charcuterie board) was definitely the highlight. Service was excellent—really friendly and attentive. It was a bit too cold inside to take off my jacket, which made it less cozy. Still, not a bad experience overall.

Our favourite restaurant for special occasions. Creative menus, excellent and healthy food, not pre-made, frozen or laden with chemicals. Also wonderful service & some accommodations for dietary restrictions.

There were 10 of us celebrating a milestone birthday and everyone was very happy with their meal and overall experience. I was especially pleased when they brought out a special dessert for the guest of honour - it was a lovely touch and completely unexpected! I'm a big fan of Bistro 67 and supporting the students who always do an outstanding job! Well done everyone and thank you!!

Great option for dining in Durham Region. Especially pleasant during the growing season for the adjacent agricultural field and apple orchard. Recommended!

We went to Bistro 67 on Saturday to celebrate mother’s day as they are not open on Sunday, the reservation was for 115. We were there a little early we were greeted by a hostess, and she showed us to our table which was overlooking their vegetable garden . The servers were very friendly, polite and accommodating. It was a buffet. There were 4 different stations. An oatmeal one, .a breakfast one, a salad one and a fruit and pastry one. Firstly, the hot table items did have heat to help keep the food warm. The poached eggs with hollandaise sauce were just sitting in a pan. The english muffins were in a bowl beside that. No toaster in sight and they weren’t hot. The salad bar items were not being kept cold/cool. The lettuce was limp. The items available were not very enticing. The pastries and bread were over done although they were tasty. The fruit trays needed to be refreshed. There were only a few strawberries. We never tried the oatmeal items. Although several of the foods were tasty, the presentation was less than satisfactory. I understand that the concept is farm to table but more work is needed to make it appealing and appetizing. There were no staff available to offer information or to help in any way. We had some drinks and coffee and tea which were good. The last upsetting thing was the bill. It was well over $200. we could have gone to the Royal Ashburn Golf club for $69.95 per person or The Guild Inn both of which have fabulous ambience , fantastic food with many, many choices. Today’s meal was definitely not value for money. We had attended there a few years ago and enjoyed the food but it wasn’t buffet style and judging by the number of guests there today, it wasn’t necessary. Very disappointing!
