The food was very good. The service was very good. I went out with my mom from Florida who was visiting and my son.
nice quaint place in the hotel lobby
the fresh made chicken soup was very good
The highlight of Bistro 46 was the extremely professional and helpful staff. There were several good options on the menu. It was a pleasant surprise at the Holiday Inn.
I would really like to give it 3.5 stars, and the same for the service. Overall, it was a very nice experience, but it's not on par with other restaurants that I have given 4 or 5 stars to, so I can't give it 4 stars in good conscience. That said, it's a very nice mid-range hotel dining room. Prices in some areas are a little high for a Holiday Inn restaurant, but in others are very fair. And honestly the decor and ambiance are quite nice and not 'budget hotel' level.
Service couldn't have been more pleasant or accommodating. Only reason for not giving it 4 stars was long delays when looking for another napkin, or to order dessert, or to process the check.
I work in the area and was looking for a convenient location for a good lunch. I found Bistro 46 on OpenTable. This restaurant is located inside of the Holiday Inn and is pretty basic in its appearance. They have a solid menu of sandwiches, salads, etc. and each time I've dined here I've been satisfied. The cost is reasonable and the service is very good.
We decided to eat in (the Holiday Inn restaurant), and were really surprised by the food, drinks and servide. My girlfriend had a bone in NY strip steak which could have served 3! I had braised short ribs -- pretty close to pot roast. But it was perfect. Her steak was cooked perfectly. The wine was drinkable and the service very good. We were both very pleasantly surprised by this find.
We enjoyed our meal at Bistro 46. The mussels appetizer was delicious, definitely worth ordering! Lobster bisque only so so but the dinners themselves were very good.
Typical Hotel restaurant. Was a weeknight. Quiet. Microwaved bread brought to table.
Waitress was friendly. Would not re-visit.
Not bad for a restaurant in a hotel, but that's where it ends. Not many wine choices. Waiter seemed "tired". Food was fair, but would not choose to return. I've been out of town often and hotel restaurants tend to be fairly bad so this is definitely on the higher end. It had good choices for adults, kids. Everything was acceptable and, if out of town, would have been fine with the meal. Would I go there on a saturday night for a good meal? NO.
