Fresh & Delicious. Service with a smile. So looking forward to going back. Sat outside
Great for pre show dinner
The food was excellent!! The flavor and presentation was fantastic. Staff was very friendly and attentive. We were extremely pleased with our dinner experience and will come here again.
The food, service and atmosphere were all excellent. I highly reccomend this place.
Was very happy they could accommodate my seating arrangement in the patio was seated right away.
Bistro 44 is easily the most reliably excellent restaurant I have frequented. The range of dishes I’ve tried have been equally delicious across days of the week, meal being served, and dining occasion/company. The folks in every role manage to balance professionalism and hospitality with warmth and friendly (but never intrusive) conversation. Endures at the top of our go-to list for everything ranging from date night to family visits to holiday get-togethers. Cannot go wrong!
Delicious food and superb service! The lunch menu was wonderful! We will definitely be going back soon.
Always excellent, time after time. 👍🏻💥👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💥
We celebrated my son’s birthday at Bistro 44. We choose the lunch prefixe meals. The food and service were excellent. We had a table in a small room at the front of the restaurant which was very comfortable and private. We have been to this restaurant several times for lunch and always walk away happy with our meals.
Bistro 44 is a great neighborhood restaurant. The ambience is cozy and friendly and the food excellent. It is perfect placw to dine before going to Engeman Theater. The menu is varied and good value. Our server was professional and friendly.
Met two friends. Always have a good meal here. The baked clams appetizer is too small, only 3 clams, most places give 6, so that was a little disappointing. Had to ask server for bread...saw everyone else with it. The food was really good-always is!
This is a gem. Food is delicious, restaurant is pretty and everyone is so accommodating and friendly.
Try it and you will surely return. There is a wonderful pre theater menu that is a wonderful value with many choices.
Worth a trip to Northport!
Always wonderful food and service. But some folks believed they could talk as loud as they wanted ( with foul language), as if they were the only ones dining that evening. This was annoying, inconsiderate, and discourteous to others. These were the "theatre" people. So quiet when they left for the show.
The pre theater menu was perfect for our group. Everything was pleasing visually and tastefully prepared. I had the crab toast. Loads of crab on a toasted baguette. Yummy and a nice size portion. I also had the chicken Milanese. It was good but wished I had made another choice. (Looking over at my friends dishes) Three of my friends had the skirt steak and were pleased. I noticed they ate all their greens beans as well. Another friend had the salmon, which she was so kind to let me try and it was superb. Lastly another friend had the lobster ravioli, which she enjoyed immensely. Myself and three others had the apple tart which was very good and my other two friends had the chocolate lava cake which they enjoyed. I had tea which good, however no honey. Four of my friends attempted the coffee, none of them cared for it. It was really bad they said it tasted burnt.
Loved it! Will definitely go back, service was excellent, our waiter, Ande, was very attentive and informative..Food was delicious, I had the glazed pork chop and my boyfriend had a seafood dish with mussels, clams, and lobster and is still talking about it...great find, we live in Patchogue and the restaurant was a 40 minute drive, definitely worth the trip!!
I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food was. We were having a pre theater dinner with friends. Although we had lighter fare we were all satisfied. Shared the Thai calamari. Just wish it was a little crunchier. It was yummy. I shared the beet salad and lobster risotto with my girlfriend and the kitchen graciously split both items for us. Both excellent. The men had onion soup and Caesar salads in fear of having anything too heavy and falling asleep at the show. Both were great. Cocktails were perfect! My only thought would be to have more smaller plates and vegetarian options.
A girls night out before the theater. Service was great. Our waiter was attentive and made sure we were out on time for the show. Food was very good. There sin on creme brûlée was fantastic.
Our waitress Gina was amazing she had a real knack of creatively and passionately describing the food, We wanted to order everything.
This is our fourth time to Bistro 44 and we're looking forward to our next visit. We've had different items from the menu every time and loved all our choices. We've also been lucky enough to get Gina as our waitress. She brings energy and awesome recommendations to the table!! At Gina's suggestion, we got the Buffalo Mozzarella appetizer. It was FANTASTIC!! She never steers us wrong and she's good company. The maitre'd strikes me as a knowledgeable gentleman and he takes the time to be so gracious that you feel special. We're looking forward to patio weather.
Great price fix lunches. Went for Valentine's Day. Had a great time. Food and service were excellent. Highly recommend.
Great evening, celebrating Valentine’s Day one day before the madness everywhere else. The folks at Bistro 44 delivered wonderful food, cocktails, and experience. Made it a fun night.
Great restaurant for pre-theatre dinner. We were served in an efficient manner; the waitress was very attentive, we had plenty of time to dine in an unrushed manner and the food was delicious. Pre-fixe before theatre menu was most reasonable and overall it was an excellent experience. Highly recommended.
Good service and delicious food Favorite restaurant we like to eat at
Always have good food here but this time the appetizers fell short. The crab toast sounded great but was cold, bland crab salad on top of toast and the baked clams were good but only 3 small ones. Expected at least 5! Main course was great though.
In a simple description, MARVELOUS. Neil, our waiter, was a professional making our evening diner perfect giving suggestions and quality service. It was our first time at the Bistro and we will definitely be returning.
Never disappointed when we go to Bistro 44. Great food, great staff and great prices. Highly recommend.
Everything was pretty great. We will definitely visit again.
Bistro 44 is the quintessential local restaurant that has it all!!! We love it and the entire staff!!
Overall very good dining experience. Went to Bistro 44 for a pre-theater meal. Food was prepared well and service was attentive. Wine list was limited.
I booked a table over a week in advance showed up on time and was given a table along side the bar. The food was mediocre at best. Prices were high though. I’m surprised there still open
Great selections and the pre-theater menu is great value.
Great pre theater menu. The waitress Gina was fantastic. The food knocked our socks off!!!
Chosen for the previous good reviews and deservedly so. Nothing groundbreaking but a nice place to have dinner.
The food and service were very good, however, we were seated at a table for two near the bar, which was the only table offered us, though we asked not to be seated there. It was noisy, people kept bumping into our table and the busboys and waitresses knocked into out table numerous times while passing by. The two or three tables for two should be eliminated.
As usual, the food and the service was great in a cozy atmosphere.
Love Bistro44 for lunch & dinner! Great Prix Fixe lunch menu!
We live this restaurant. It is our favorite in Northport and never has disappointed us. Try the braised beef, salmon and he Duck is amazing!!
Enjoy this restaurant. We frequent once per year during Christmas season. Food and service are consistently great!
Our first time at Bistro 44 but definitely not the last! Our friends came from Pt Jeff and Manorville and are already planning to meet us back there. Delicious food and wonderful wait staff....ask for recommendations - you won't be steered in the wrong direction.
Service and food were both excellent. Salmon was delicious and the apple tart for dessert was also very good.
