About
If you are staying at the hotel and need a reasonable lunch with excellent service in a pleasant atmosphere, then this is it. There are many other restaurants within walking distance of this one and I tried several during my stay at the Hyatt, but I can't say the extra time spent getting to outside restaurants was worth it.
Good food, but the dessert isn't worth it. Worse than frozen desserts bought it grocery store.
If you are looking for a rather standard breakfast buffet this will fit the bill. Everything on the buffet was good quality but nothing that was very imaginative. The basics of chafing dishes with scramble eggs, bacon, sausages, etc. Our waiter was very engaging and attentive. The restaurant is very open and spacious.
Great lunch, great service.
The service was outstanding, and our servers were super friendly! We ate there twice for dinner and twice for breakfast. Servers remembered us, seemed glad to see us, even remembered what we ordered and how we like it cooked! The food was fresh and good, but the best part of our experience was the friendliness, and the excellent service. Our servers included AJ, Penny, Said, and Giovanna!
Very nice ambiance with friendly staff from the moment we were greeted and seated. Only problem we had was the wait time for our food which was approximately 45 minutes and this is not good when the restaurant wasn’t crowded. Can’t imagine how long it would take if it was crowded
A nice open space for lunch with an indoor fountain next to it. The food was kind of bland. I had a crab cake sandwich which was noted as good in other reviews. It doesn't shine as a great crab cake for a Baltimore native, but it's fine. After going, I don't feel the need to go back there again as there was nothing really interesting about the place or the food. It's a simple hotel restaurant.
Nice beautiful restaurant! Food was very tasty. Staff are very friendly and accommodating.
Need to update times of closure with opentable so that reservations are not placed at that time.
Pre theatre meal was fast ; good quality; very good service
We have been coming to the Bistro 300 at the Hyatt Regency Baltimore for several years for our anniversary. Good food and outstanding service is what we have grown accustom to.
We had just driven 9 hours and this was relaxing and an enjoyable way to end our trip . The crab cake was mainly crab and delicious.
The service was excellent and the ambiance was nice, even with the construction in the hotel. The breakfast was great.
Great food which was enhanced by very attentive and friendly service.
I was staying at the hotel and saw an extensive room service menu. I thought the restaurant's would be similar since it was the same kitchen. It wasn't. It was much abbreviated with only 5 entres and no specials. I selected two apps, thinking I would go back for more. The crab cake tasted only fried, with no tase of crab. This ios baltimore inner harbor; there should be some crab taste! The three scallops were served in a pool of butter with way too much garlic. I could not tase the scallops. I had to ask for bread. They said they could probably find some. I expected more from a Hyatt. I will definitely NOT return.
Crab bisque was delicious with ample size crab.
Hard to get service. Food was not hot, it was clearly sitting for a while.
Great meal, wonderful service and attention to detail -- even on Restaurant Week! Beautiful ambience and matching dishes make for a memorable time.
Pleasant atmosphere, quiet, superb tasting food and excellent service.
I enjoyed the appetizers and the drinks. The service was excellent and the staff was professional.
The restaurant was fine and the food was great except we were the only ones there
My son took me to The Bistro for Mothers Day the Breakfast Buffet was amazing. The service was impeccable. Highly recommend for special occasions or just a place to have a nice meal.
Very accommodating for business lunch
I would have rated the food higher, but it was only lukewarm. Otherwise, it was very good!
Not busy yet took 30 minutes for food to arrive. Good but not anything to write home about.
This restaurant is only about 2 blocks from the Baltimore Convention Center. The space is a kind of mezzanine with a pond and small tables. You can't really see out into the hotel. Service was slow, given that only a few tables were occupied for our early lunch, but the food was very good when it arrived: Cobb salad, chicken avocado sandwich, and house salad (greens, blueberries, pistachios, feta cheese). 1/2 serving combos (either 1/2 a sandwich and 1/2 a salad or 1/2 soup) were a good deal: both halves were decently sized. Would definitely go back for a quiet get-away from the convention center.
Great night out with hubby celebrating our anniversary. Shared our space with great hostess, service staff & good selection.
Poor service. This was a business breakfast. Waitress (Penny) clearly didn't feel like working, so she made a big fuss and acted annoyed by everything we asked for (almond milk for a lactose intolerant person, a latte bc it was "all the way downstairs," more water). It made for a very uncomfortable meal with a client.
We ordered off of the menu and it was very good.
We took advantage of the breakfast buffet, which included a special order omelet. The omelet was delicious. and very generous. We had this along with the fresh fruit, tea and a muffin, and were full for the whole day. The service was good, the staff was friendly and attentive. There were other good menu choices aside from the buffet.
Excellent food and service! Highly recommend! I think the review shouldn't require a specific number of words. Other than that.. Loved the experience.
Forget what you think or hear about "hotel food", Bistro 300 can proudly stand next to the finest restaurants in Baltimore. Our meals were prepared with care and wait staff expertly attended to our special requests. My wife's crab cake entree was what you would expect from the state that wrote the book on crab cakes. My avocado/turkey sandwich was both healthy and flavorful. Chef Sarah added the final touch to this wonderful dining experience when she came to our table to ensure everything was perfect.
The breakfast buffet / al la cart menu offered healthful AND indulgent options.
Can't wait to get back for another experience!
Food used to be better. Not sure if there was a change in the kitchen recently or not. It is usually much better. Service was excellent, as always.
A very quiet and peaceful place to eat lunch. Great ambience with the indoor water features.
The staff was very accommodating and the food was decent for hotel food.
my wife and I went for a valentines dinner. the food was good, restaurant was nice, service was very good and complementary champagne. that said i can't say what it would be like for a "normal" dining experience.
My wife worked until 2 with no lunch break so we went for an early dinner... 4 pm
The place was deserted. We were literally the only people in the restaurant.
It was a very enjoyable meal. Server was attentive, food was good, we enjoyed being able to talk without all the general noise you usually have.
I would definitely go back. From the amount of staff available I think that they probably manage their tables well.
So take a chance... even crowded you should have good food at prices that are about right for a downtown hotel restaurant.
The staff was very accommodating during Snowmaggeddon this past weekend.
The decor was tasteful, as well.
I'd recommend this recommend this restaurant.
Great location for New Years Eve with great view for fireworks.
Food and service were excellent. Would recommend for private lunch or dinner private conversation
It's expensive but then it's a downtown location. I had the Cobb salad for dinner. Breakfast brunch was good.
Enjoyed breakfast at the harbor for the first time in many years
