The view would have been wonderful, but a giant cruise ship was blocking it entirely. The blackened grouper sandwich was good, but the lobster quesadilla was soggy. Not what we expected based on their Open Table rating.
Our waiter Mike is a delight. I will always request him
Food was expensive. Very small portions. Not crowded but service was less than stellar. Another table left because they were waiting too long - in an empty restaurant- after only waters left on table and no server ever appeared. Would not go back.
Great food. A little pricey. Slow service, but when you’re on island time, who really cares? Especially when enjoying a sunset!
As usual, it was outstanding. One of the best Sunday brunches around. They gave us a table that met our specific needs for sun and quite.
Outstanding lobster quesadilla. The key lime pie was very good. Great view of the ocean at sunset.
Excellent food. We weren't expecting much since it's in a resort - Margaritaville. But the food was delicious, good portions, lot's of lobster in lobster Mac&cheese, fresh and tasty fish, and the crab bisque was excellent.
Went here when we knew that no cruise ships were in to obstruct our view. The meal was great, burgers and the arugala & shrimp salad. Keyime Martinis and white wine with lunch. Fabulous views that live up to the Weston ambience.
Great location, good food!
This brunch is what extends our vacation to make sure we have 2 Sunday’s. Phenomenal food. Excellent service!
Incredible experience, first class from start to finish. Top notch food and impeccable service. Great value when you consider the cost of the items like beef Wellington and stone crab. Well worth it.
Fantastic view of the sunset!!!
Really disappointed. Hard to find by location. Food was disappointing as well as the wine list and the service . Had higher expectations. Lobster and shrimp tough and the Alfredo was tasteless and soupy.. seemed the attention was on a large party inside! Will try again!
Went with friends for a mid afternoon lunch. Grouper sandwich. Shrimp and arugula salad were fantastic!
Highly recommended and the view is spectacular!!
We stopped by for a quick brunch on a Thursday morning before taking a cab to the airport. The menu had a nice selection of brunch standbys and a few dishes with a gourmet touch. I had the coconut French test with bananas and strawberries - it was a huge portion and satisfying! My husband had the grilled salmon Benedict and said it was good which to others would be very good.
The best brunch in Key West!!!
We went here for New Years Eve. Excellent food and beautiful waterviee
Came for new year's Eve. 3 had prime rib and 1 had fish. Everyone loved their dinners. Service was excellent. Only complaint was red wine was chilled. A little too cold for outside but they moved us in with no problem. Lovely evening.
We thought the Bistro 245 was an OK restaurant. The Food was fine but not outstanding.
However it was New Years Eve ( in a resort location) and as we all know sometimes quality suffer as the crowd gets bigger. I have eaten there at other times and it was "very good".
I have lived here for 8 years, but never had the opportunity to dine at Bistro 245. It was a wonderful experience. Our waitress was attentive and courteous . Will definitely be back!
Another great meal at Bistro 245. Our favorite for brunch!
I ate here when the Hotel was a Westin and it was awesome! One of the best meals I had in Key West. I looked so forward to going back. Now as Margaritaville, I cannot recommend this restaurant. The food was not good, it lacked flavor, the fish was bland and the quinoa had absolutely no taste at all.
We were seated outside and the views were awesome. Waiter very attentive and friendly. Food was delicious!
We arrived for Christmas dinner at the time reserved. The hostess was indifferent and ruid. She could not find our confirmed Open Table reservation and finally said it doesn’t matter. She asked if we wanted to be seated inside or outside. We said inside because we didn’t want to be seated next to smokers outside. We were escorted inside. The entire restaurant was empty but for one table with a family of 3 at the middle table in front of the window looking out to the sunset. We were seated at a table next to the door of the kitchen and the outside service door. There were 2 dining rooms and no one else was in either room and only 2 other tables were set after we arrived. The restaurant was empty. The noise from the kitchen was very loud. The cigarette smoke from the outside came in on top of use every time the door was opened. We ordered a bottle of Saugivou Blanc anything but Kim Crawford. The server brought us a Kim Crawford. I could go on but $137 later the food was passable. I would not go back and would not recommend this mediocre restaurant to anyone. We had enjoyed such an gracious evening at Michael’s the night before and were looking forward to a wonderful evening for Christmas dinner and were very disappointed. Not a restaurant I would recommend to anyone.
The grouper was *amazing*! Best fish we had while in the Keys!
Bistro 245 was Amazing! We spent a week in Key West over Christmas weekend & wanted to do a fun Christmas Eve brunch! We could not have found a better spot! We loved it! Great menu, loved the bottomless mimosas & the views. We will be back for sure!
Good brunch, however you need some additional breakfast items.
Food was amazing.
Excellent as usual! Everything is top notch.
Wonderful as always. We've been coming here for brunch for years and we're never disappointed.
Tooooo expencive compared to the standard of the food and service
The food was amazing! Our server michael was above and beyond excellent!
Server Michael made our annual brunch here amazing. Bottomless mimosas and great service was amazing. We live Key West and good drinks and great food are the staples of our travel plans. MICHAEL you are god sent. ❤️This brunch and it’s all because of the excellent Svc you provide.
What a great find! Zach and Crissi were so attentive and friendly. They did a great job meeting our request for gulf-side seating and a birthday celebration. The food was delicious and dining during a Mallory Square sunset (but without the actual chaos of Mallory Square) was perfect! Highly recommend Bistro 245!
Great lunch and breakfast place- you can sit inside if it's too hot. The hand made juices are good!
We were in the Keys on our honeymoon and coming to a restaurant with $50 plates and having kids scream was a nightmare!!!
Outstanding Sunday Brunch. The food was fresh and tasted great. Every bite was worth taking a second and nothing sat out too long, was soggy or cold. The chefs did an amazing job preparing food that turned over constantly. The service was a little slow and the only food we didn't enjoy as much was the desserts. They were placed by the window and it was very hot and everything was a little melted. Other than that, the price tag and every calorie was worth it!
We were staying in the Margaritaville Hotel of which the Bistro is a part. The view is unbeatable, facing west over the water to the Key West sunset - spectacular, though you will want to go outside to fully appreciate it.
The service was fast and pleasant, the food was tasty, abundant, and well-presented. Try the seafood cocktail! And the drinks were nicely concocted. This is also the source of the room service breakfasts at the hotel - they too were marvelous!
Signed birthday dinner but it didn't happen
Was so excited to take my husband there for Father's day brunch. The food was good except the warm food need better warmers. Also, we made reservations for 1PM and exactly at 2pm, the kitchen staff began breaking down the buffet line and did not replenish food as the time got closer to 2. Was very disappointed with that. Other than that, we would be happy to dine there again as long as we get what we pay for akd not rushed out.
