We ate outside at Bistro 245 and it was a beautiful sunset and great views. The service was fantastic and the food was delicious. Drinks were also very good.

I was a little concerned when reading a few recent negative reviews about this restaurant. Nonethelss My experience was overwhelmingly positive. The food was beautifully cooked amd presented. The service was first rate and attentive. Highly recommended

Wonderful view, food as always very good. We were thrilled with the prime rib, which is served only Thanksgiving and Christmas. Best we could remember having. The turkey dinner was good (especially cranberry sauce!) and seafood paella saffron creamy was loaded with probably 4 oz mahi plus local lobster tail and two large shrimp.

We made reservations for Thanksgiving since they were offering a traditional Thanksgiving meal. My husband had the turkey dinner and he said it was the best he has ever had at a restaurant. I am not a turkey fan so I opted for the scallops with truffle risotto. It was delicious! Our server was friendly and attentive. Definitely a memorable and delicious experience.

Lovely atmosphere outside with great service. The truffle encrusted grouper and the lobster hash was absolutely delicious.

Dinner was okay. Nothing to write home about, the server was excellent. Went to the women’s restroom and it was disgusting. Soiled all over the toilets and no toilet paper. Spoke to the manger and he could have cared less. He said okay, thanks for letting me know. 🤷🏻‍♀️ After spending over 200 dollars for a dinner for two I wasn’t expecting that.

Highly prices bistro, watch sunset from the pier and eat elsewhere. Tuna was overcooked, very average and margarita-couldn’t even finish it, do not recommend this place.

We really enjoyed our night out at Bistro 245. We ordered the roasted tuscan chicken and the truffle crusted grouper and both were very good. We ordered the Mississippi mud pie and coconut bomb (I think that’s what it was called) for dessert and they were amazing! The mud pie consisted of an Oreo crust w coffee ice cream, chocolate mousse and whipped cream…..yum…..it was my favorite dessert of the 7 restaurants we went to this week. I’m not a big coconut fan but their coconut bomb cake was also very good. Our server Alex was fantastic! He was very attentive, super accommodating and also very nice and personable! We really appreciate good service and he treated us to great service! Thank you Alex!

Food was delicious but indoor restaurant very tired and in need of updating. Thank goodness the food was good because there was no ambience at all. Water from AC leaking onto chairs. We moved twice before finding a table. It’s a shame because restaurant has great location and food.

You go for the location, not for the food! Presentation of food is nice, but is just ok. But if seated outside, you are in a prime location to view sunset.

No question, this is the best location for a Key West Sunset dinner! The food is way better than it needs to be considering the very touristy location on the boardwalk. Fresh and delicious seafood, hearty lobster and damn good Key lime pie.

Great experience from start to finish. Snapper and grouper were both excellent! Started with a shared Caesar that is perfect and just the right amount of salad before a full meal. Key lime pie is the best around, in my opinion. Decadent and perfect to share. Great meal!

Visited Bistro for my friend’s birthday. Food and service were excellent, plus they brought her a complimentary desert! Will definitely go back again!! Only one thing! A carnival cruise ship was blocking our view of the ocean!

Ask for Mary. She’s remarkable and your experience will be excellent. Get an Old Fashion. One of the best I’ve ever had. Steaks are the best in Key West. Highly recommend this restaurant.

We had a table of 6 of which 3 people ordered steak, all different temps. Every steak was overcooked. All other food was really great, it just seemed the chef could cook steak that night. Service was a bit slow for the fact that it was not busy at all but when he did show up, he was a delight.

We celebrated our 30th Anniversary dinner at Bistro 245. Loved the view and the food was about a 4 out of 5. Unfortunately, the gentlemen that served us was not on par that evening. We would definitely be back for the food and views, but if we based it off of service then probably not.

We tried this place twice . The first time the service wasn’t great and the food was okay . The second time the service was good and the food was not great at all . The steaks were over cooked and dry , the vegetables were hard. It’s pricey for the food quality and the atmosphere.

Overall Bistro 245 gets 4.5 stars. I ordered the lobster, shrimp plate which was very good. Only complaint would be that the lobster was over cooked but that is very common at most places here for some reason. She got the mahi plate which was perfect, no complaints. For desert we shared the creme brûlée which was on point. Our waiter (wish i could remember his name) was engaging, nice and attentive. He gets 5 stars for sure. Highly recommend Bistro 245

Aufgrund der positiven Bewertungen in Trip Advisor und Google haben wir einen Tisch im Bistro 245 gebucht. Vorweg das Positive: Das Restaurant liegt schön am Wasser mit Blick auf das Wasser und den Sonnenuntergang. Alles andere entsprach nicht den Beschreibungen der anderen Beurteilungen. Wir erhielten einen Platz in einer dunklen Ecke, die Öllampe auf dem Tisch brannte nicht. Nach einer gewissen Zeit wurde sie abgeholt. Auf Nachfrage erhielten wir eine Lampe, die 30 Sekunden brannte, aber dann ausging (anscheinend die gleiche ohne Öl nachzufüllen). Wir bestellten Shrimps und Hummer auf Fettucine. Für jemand, der gerne in Italien Urlaub macht, waren die Fettucine total überkocht, so weich und labbrig kann man keine Nudel servieren . Den Ausdruck „al dente“ kannte der Chef anscheinend nicht. Auf Nachfrage sagte man uns, dass alle Nudeln so sind, da sie vorgekocht werden und nur noch in der Soße heißgemacht werden. Wir entschieden uns daraufhin für das Hähnchen nach toskanischer Art. Auch hier stellte der Chef seine Unfähigkeit unter Beweis. Bei den Bohnen wurden die Enden nicht sauber geputzt, die Garzeit war zu kurz, ging aber gerade noch. Dafür war das Hähnchen genau wie Nudel total übergart. Die Unterseite war schwarz und das Fleisch trocken. Aus unserer Sicht sollte man zum Essen einen Bogen um dieses Lokal machen. Wenn man nur etwas zum Sunset trinken will, kann jeder selbst entscheiden, ob es nicht in Key West bessere Orte dafür gibt. Zum Abschluss sei noch etwähnz, dass wir für diese schlechte Erfahrung 1 Stunde 45 Minuten gebraucht haben, wohlgemerkt hatten wir weder eine Vorspeise noch ein Dessert.

My wife a visited Bistro 245 for our one year anniversary. We had an amazing experience. The food was incredible and the service was top notch. We got to watch sunset from our table and the restaurant gave us a delicious piece of key lime pie to celebrate our anniversary. Would highly recommend!

Sehr gutes Essen und leckere Cocktails direkt zum Sunset. Das Personal dürfte aufmerksamer sein, besonders bei der Preisklasse. Trinkgeld wird ja auch wie selbstverständlich erwartet, da sollte man sich auch dafür bewegen. Der Service in allen Bereichen unserer Florida-Reise hat extrem nachgelassen. Von ignorant bis desinteressiert alles vorhanden. Gibts hier auch Fachkräftemangel? 😂

the food was delicious, definitely a “nicer dinner spot” for vacation. we booked this as our main classier dinner for our honeymoon and loved it

Was not impressed with this place. Chicken was burned on the outside, very dry and had no seasoning. Garlic mashed potatoes tasted like they came straight out of a bag and microwaved. Definitely not worth it for this price point. Was very disappointed.

Great location on Mallory Square! We were able to get a table inside but at the windows which was perfect. Ahi app was a lot of good and wonderful quality. We definitely liked the mahi entree a little better than the grouper but they were both great. Just the sauce on the mahi was amazing. Got mud pie and peanut butter pie desserts. Wonderful overall experience.

Lovely setting, delicious food, professional service. Drinks were tasty- mojito and Sunset Martini. Caesar salad was excellent; grouper with lobster hash outstanding- lots of lobster meat; snapper dinner was rich and tasty; key lime pie for dessert- large piece to share.
