   It is wonderful to have this Bistro back. It is a lovely place and the staff are all fantastic. The kitchen is solid and will modify dishes if requested. They have one of the best wine lists in the area. There is outdoor seating and they have a great bar!

   My wife and I enjoyed a special afternoon at Bistro 112. The wait staff was attentive and all questions regarding menu were explained. Food was very good and the surroundings were excellent. From entrance to exit, the experience was wonderful. Will return for dinner.

   Bistro 112 is my favorite restaurant. The food is always lovely to look at, delicious, of great quality, and prepared carefully with style. The restaurant is under new management and even better than the original, which was also a favorite.

   The food is consistently excellent. The wait staff is prompt and attentive, making sure that everything is ok, but never making you feel rushed. I don't consider the chairs particularly comfortable, but that's the only, very minor, complaint. I definitely recommend Bistro 112!

    What a great restaurant! Everything from the signature cocktails and homemade breads to salads, escargot and wonderful asparagus soup to the entres- trout and steak frites it was fantastic. Service was great and we couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more.

    Easter brunch was exceptional, but then our previous experiences have been the same...perfectly prepared steak and eggs, plus a delicious appetizer plate of fruit, avo toast, biscuits and brioche and a lovely strawberry macaroon for dessert. Outstanding meal!

    Bistro 112 hit it out of the park with Easter Brunch! Obviously, the new owners have spent an enormous amount of time with a well thought out and perfectly enhanced renovation. Firstly, the welcome is genuinely warm and friendly. The waitstaff was gracious and attentive. The Easter Brunch menu was superb. For starters, there was a fruit plate, mini brioche, biscuits, and avocado on toast points. The Eggs Benedict choice was amazing with huge chunks of tender lobster, silky sauce, on a bed of sautéed spinach. The Croque Monsieur had piles of shaved ham with a really good Bechamel. We actually decided to share our two choices because they both looked so good when they were brought to the table! The Strawberry Cream Cheese Macaron was the perfect ending. It is clear that the Chef Paul Shearman really cares about food! We can’t wait to have lunch in the garden. What a wonderful addition to the Shepherdstown culinary community.

    This was our first visit to Bistro 112 after it's re-opening. We were dining with our daughter and her boyfriend to celebrate her birthday. We arrived right at our reservation time and we were seated immediately. This is a row house that has been converted to a restaurant and our table was in a room upstairs. There didn't seem to be an accommodation for anyone with access concerns so be sure to note that when making your reservations. The room was lovely, decorated in a soothing color with gorgeous drapes and nice paintings. While the room was small, it accommodated about 6 tables. We never felt too close to the other tables or needing to limit our conversation. The service is stellar! Appropriate check-ins throughout the meal time. The wine came just a little bit after our meal was delivered but that didn't affect our dining. Two of us ordered steak frites and two of us ordered the beef short rib. We also shared two french onion soups before the entrees. All of the food was very good, especially both cuts of meat. A couple of notes, the beef short rib also came with mashed potatoes and small carrots. It was not served with mushrooms. The frites were correctly thin but maybe overcooked just a bit so they were a little crunchy for our liking. Given that the restaurant is new, we absolutely will overlook some of these small things. We plan to return and try some other items on the menu, which the waitress said will be changing to their spring menu soon.

    We’re so pleased to have Bistro 112 back among Shepherdstown’s restaurants. The renovations are lovely, the service is very attentive without being intrusive and the food is delicious. Three of us ordered from the prefix menu. I ordered the smoked salmon ravioli, mahi mahi, and creme brulee. My husband ordered trout from the regular menu. We were both very pleased. The dishes were creative and the amount of food was just right. Welcome back Bistro 112!

    Arrived a few minutes early and was seated right away. Staff was attentive, accommodating, and Friendly. Staff made introductions and remembers ours and other guests names. The appetizers, entrees, drinks, and desserts were high quality and memorable. The complementary breads and butters were very good and intriguing. Overall And excellent time for a date night.

    This was a perfect Valentine's Day meal. Set menu of scallop appetizer, perfectly cooked and not over cooked with caviar no less followed by a small fresh salad intermezzo and final a perfectly cooked medium rare beef tenderloin filet. My wife had the halibut which was well seasoned and also not overdone. The dessert of a heart shaped cake sandwiches by a buttercream as a bit dry but that didn't matter. My wife chose the wine pairings and that was the right choice. The Riesling paired perfectly with the scallops and the robust Cabernet with the tenderloin did not disappoint. Oh forgot to say the meal began with Kit Royale or Champagne. We had both and the flavors were perfect. All this for an affordable $75 each with one wine pairing at $50!!

    Lovely restaurant. The new owners have done a wonderful job of bringing new life to this charming setting. In addition to a delicious meal, they substituted the prix fixe dessert for a gluten free one graciously. It was our second meal there, and were very happy to enjoy it for Valentines Day.

    Historic old building. New owners January 2023. Interesting menu, good wine and drinks selection except for no Sauvignon Blanc. Very tight seating. We went on Wednesday evening when it wasn’t completely full but would be an issue to be comfortable and have privacy if all tables were full. Also, beware if you are a larger person. Aisles are very narrow, as is powder room. Thank goodness, we all loved our entrees, salads and desserts. Very very tasty. And we had a beyond wonderful waitress name Kaelin. She was so very helpful and fun to work with. We will return but at lunch or an earlier dinner mid-week.
