Somewhat disappointed in the evening. Wait staff very friendly, but service dropped off dramatically at the end of the evening. White wine by the glass was not chilled and dinner was average.

turns out that after 25 years of business, the restuarant is closing on Friday. When we arrived for lunch it was very disorganized and then the waiter finally told us that they were closing had limited food and beverage selection. We asked if we should leave and he said we should stay. We should have left. IT was very disappointing experience.

Good French bistro fare. Mussels are always a winner and the choucroute was excellent! A little stingy on the very good bread that is served to every table with a truly wonderful roasted garlic for spreading.

I have eaten here a half dozen times and the food has always been excellent. The service is sometimes slow; however, this is outweighed by the ambience and quality of the food.

We were initially given a table near the noisy back kitchen area, which was unexpected since I had made a reservation 1 1/2 weeks in advance. That said we were happily moved to a nicer location. The service was noticeably slower and not quite as friendly as previous times. The food was good good but not quite as outstanding as previous times as well - strangely some veg on my plate were warm, some cool although they were described as part of the same presentation and not supposed to be separate temperatures. I enjoy coming here and recommending Bistro 110, but this visit will make me consider other options before another recommendation.

Went cause we new the restaurant was closing and wanted I wanted the artichoke w/brie. My friend wanted a nice size luncheon salad. The artichoke was undercooked, the brie was fine. The salad with tuna for $12.95 was in a small bowl with a can of tuna thrown in. At least it could have been put on a plate with more greens that would have cost the restaurant nothing. Not surprised it's closing as it seems as no one there care anymore.

Had a great dinner here on Sat night. Ordered standard steak and frites and steak au poivre. All prepared as requested. Beet salad and artichoke appetizer all done well. Wine list was notable for its wide, yet reasonable range, esp by the glass. Sat on the patio and had great people watching. We'll be back.

My husband and I had a very delightful dinner experience. After my healthy salad, my salmon was delicious and without needing any type of sauce, just a few herbs sprinkled on it. My husband had the pork shop special and loved it. The service that night was outstanding with out waitress Angie being so friendly and accommodating. Our beverages were regularly refilled without being asked. We topped it off with the Gateau Breton dessert, which was so good. Dinner was pricey but very, very tasty and well worth the experience. Our only regret was that we did not have more room to order more food, as the soup special and other specials that night sounded fabulous.

Bistro 110 will be renewing itself as an italian restaurant. If you never been to Bistro 110 go before it"s gone, it's a great great dining experience. Start out with the french onion soup and/or the artichokes, any main course and then the creme brule with berries.

Bistro 110 has a warm and welcoming ambiance. The noise level is not overwhelming, making it is possible to have an in-depth conversation with a person or group, but also feel that you are part of a happening scene. The menu was excellent, but my order of scallops was too rich for my taste.

We had reservations but the 3 of us arrived separately. I was there first and sat at a table waiting. Person #2 came but they didn't tell him I was there. So it was 5 min before he found out I was there. Other than that the food was good - especially the short ribs. The mussels were not great. It was not too noisy on a Tuesday night.

Bistro 110 is a staple for Chicago dining. It's an American French bistro just off of Michigan Avenue. The food is consistently excellent; good variety in the selection so anyone from the die-hard steak fan to the French purist can find something wonderful on the menu -- not to mention some fabulous dessert choices. Great coffee as well. Service is consistently excellent and prices are reasonable. Valet parking is a great convenience if you're coming from the suburbs. Overall, an excellent choice.

Went on a beautiful Sunday for brunch and sat outside. Absolutely FANTASTIC! You can't beat the view looking out at the Water Tower and Michigan Ave. The brie & artichoke appetizer was great as was my French Quarter Frittatta. I had been there previously for dinner which was great and thought I'd be try it for brunch and wasn't at all disappointed. The only negative was the people at the nearby table who were having the "liquid brunch" and thought that every noun need an 'F' word adjective. More of an annoyance than anything else.
