This was such a horrible experience. Although I had a reservation, once I got there they threw a table together. It was a very small table shoved under the bar. The table was extremely sticky. The food was only Luke warm. I felt because we had a thrown together table out of the way, we did not have great service. The waiter never came to check on us. It took 20 minutes to get bread. Every other table in the room had a water bottle on it, while we did not. I felt it was way over priced for what I received. Needless to say, I will not be returning to Bistro 1051 again.
Wonderful as always
We eat at Bistro 1051 very often and have for years. I have never had a meal that I didn't love!
Great food and great service. Both the woman i was with and myself enjoyed everything.
Excellent food quality, ambiance, and service! Restaurant was spotless. Service couldn't be any better! The waiter was VERY knowledgeable of the menu and the wine we brought with us. Oh, FYI, it is BYOB, but there is a terrific liquor store in the immediate vicinity (walking distance across the parking lot) Love this place!
Excellent and plentiful food with great service. Never rushed us. We really enjoyed our dinner.
Always good food. Great and Friendly Service
Excellent service and great food! Highly recommend it !
Friendly service, the food is always good, with fresh ingredients. The eclectic menu is sure to please everyone in your party. Get the long hot peppers for the table! The chicken bistro is my favorite....grilled or breaded chicken, your choice! BYO makes this place one of my go-to spots.
The restaurant was packed (Saturday night), and we had to wait for our table. We received drinks and appetizer in a timely manner, but were seated almost 2 hours before our entrees were served. At that point, 2 of us were served, and we had to flag down the waiter for the 3rd entree. Unacceptable!!! Neither the waiter, nor the maitre'd apologized, offered an excuse or offered a dessert. My food was laden with garlic, which I am allergic to. Neither the menu, nor the waiter mentioned garlic in the dish. I was sick all evening and the following day from the garlic and/or the poor experience.
We will not return!
Noisy, expensive for what you get, food not great. Won't go back
Although we waited about 45 minutes after our reservation time, it was well worth the wait
I’m guessing that had it not been a Saturday night and had they not had a party going on in their other space, everything would have been great. However, we waited almost 2 hours before our main course came. Although the server and later, owner, came over to say (3x) the food would be out shortly, in my opinion, waiting 1 3/4 hours for food is not “shortly “. The owner could have apologized and perhaps offered free coffee or a free dessert for our long wait but instead he simply explained why the wait was occurring. He should be able to manage Saturday nights better.
We had 2 birthdays to celebrate that day & we had 7 people for a Saturday lunch. The place was not crowded. It's a byob, which we like. Our waitress was excellent. The menu is part Asian & part Italian & the selections are very varied. There was only one time that we had a problem & felt that it was not addressed properly. We were not going to come back, but we decided not to let one incident ruin it for us. So, we tried again & never had another problem. The prices are reasonable & we had a great time.
This restaurant was awesome. The owner, Michael was insanely accommodating with Open Table told us they had availability but in actuality they did not. He was incredibly apologetic and crazy nice. My only beef was that we sat near an incredibly loud table (so loud I couldn't hear the people I was sitting with). Everyone loved their food though, so that was a plus. Everything was delicious and everything was great. I would recommend you avoid sitting by the windows the draft is rough!
Best food in the area... Everything on the menu is fabulous... you can’t go wrong with whatever you choose
Friends and I chose Bistro 1051 as our holiday get-together spot this year. Since I had been there dozens of times before, including our daughter's wedding celebration luncheon, several birthdays, as well as business dinners, I was confident that the meal would be good. My only complaint, however, has to do with customer relations. I didn't complain when the owner, who we have seen countless times before, didn't even say hello once when passing about 10 times ... no complaints even when the noise level was beyond being able to hear our table's conversation (not within their control, I know!) The complaint was that we were charged $6.00 to have three cupcakes brought to our table. Not only did we purchase a round of coffees to have with our dessert, but we also purchased apps and meals, with a tab well over $100.00. The surcharge ended up being more than the cost of the cupcakes! Bringing our own sweets was to accommodate our friend's favorite. Even though the amount was trivial, it left a bad taste in my mouth.
Menu is extensive and has many different types of food. I enjoyed the flatbread. The noise level is a little high and sitting by the windows can be drafty on a cold night. The service is a bit better than ok, but not great. My biggest issue was that the open table review said that california wines were available, but when i got there they said "go to the liquor store". I suggest you get that edited.
We had an awesome meal. It is a BYOB, there is a liquor store in the same shopping center if you forget.
This is our 5th visit to Bistro 1051 and we were once again thrilled with our meal and experience—this trip included a large party of 8 to celebrate a birthday. We requested a table in the corner via OpenTable notes section and were accommodated by the staff. Our table was far from other diners which aloud us some privacy and kept us from disturbing other diners as we are a somewhat loud group.
Ian and Amy, our wait staff, were attentive, friendly, patient with our older guests that had questions and very knowledgeable of the menu and preparations. Ian was able to make suggestions for alternate side dishes and alternate preparations to accommodate our group. Imsuggest the short ribs—sauce was excellent and meat fork tender. We also enjoyed the grilled fish specials, calimari and risotto.
Overall it was an excellent dining experience. Great food, good atmosphere (though a bit cold for guests seated near windows) and impeccable service.
The food was good but the service was poor. Our food took a while and we had to move tables. We also waiting for our table for 15 minutes.
I have been here a few times and never been disappointed. The service and the food is good. My friends loved it.
Really enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. Will recommend to others.
Always good food. Service a bit slow and very noisy.
We had lunch at this restaurant and it was very good. Th e food was excellent with big portions. We enjoyed our meal because we weren’t rushed. We go again to this restaurant
The service was top notch. Our waiter made sure we had everything we needed and was very friendly. Would recommend highly. Menu was unique and food was very tasty. Surprised by the selection on the menu.
Really good food and great service, a little noisy but worth it.
it was a very busy Saturday evening, we had a reservation but had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated. But the food was excellent, everyone was happy. and the service was very good too. It might not be the best choice for a quite date, but for groups who want good seafood, it is the place
Food very good and service was excellent.
Our only complaint about this restaurant is the noise level.
This was not our first visit to this restaurant. That says a lot about the place. We reserved a table for 5 and were promptly seated. The place was packed with a few large partys so the noise level was high, but that eased once they left. The food was delicious and the service was top notch. That says it all! You cant go wrong with enjoying a meal at this establishment.
FYI, Its a BYOB.
Excellent and fast attentive service. Food was excellent. Large portions. It was our first time there and will not be our last. Easy parking and BYOB.
Our favorite! Never lets us down!
Make sure you eat before because your food won’t come out until over an hour. Then you will be told you should have ordered an appetizer because everyone knows the food takes a long time because Saturday nights are busy. Plus if you make a reservation, you will then get it thrown in your face by the manager that you were sat immediately ... as if that doesn’t happen when you have a reservation. Not worth the decent food. Noisy, sub par and horrible service with a waitress that likes to touch the men at your table every time she is there. Learn some professionalism and stop touching married men’s shoulders and arms. Way to make people uncomfortable. You definitely lost a recommendation. Never again !!!
Delicious food, great service and friendly atmosphere.
Ambiance is nice. Food is outstanding. Service is excellent. Little loud in there. BYOB, so it keeps costs down. Overall, a gem in a strip mall.
Very nice! I'm a regular and I am always pleasantly surprised by the chef's creations. The filet of bronzino, any style, is a tasty, high quality fish. The shrimp and chorizo tapas has a unique, kickass sauce! Jessica is a wonderful waitress. My mother was impressed by the quality of the service and the food!
Amazing across the board! Can't wait to go back again!
Service was excellent and friendly, but the food was quite ordinary. Also, the restaurant has tile floors and tin ceiling, making it unbearably noisy. Impossible to have a conversation. There are much better options for the price in the area.
My family and I have been coming here for a couple years . Mike and his staff are always on point . Great tasting food keeps us coming back !
this is my personal favorite resteraunt in clark. food is superb as well as the service. i know I am always going to have a great experience. I always leave happy and satisfied. great resteraunt for truly any occasion.
