Always good food. Great and Friendly Service
Excellent service and great food! Highly recommend it !
Friendly service, the food is always good, with fresh ingredients. The eclectic menu is sure to please everyone in your party. Get the long hot peppers for the table! The chicken bistro is my favorite....grilled or breaded chicken, your choice! BYO makes this place one of my go-to spots.
The restaurant was packed (Saturday night), and we had to wait for our table. We received drinks and appetizer in a timely manner, but were seated almost 2 hours before our entrees were served. At that point, 2 of us were served, and we had to flag down the waiter for the 3rd entree. Unacceptable!!! Neither the waiter, nor the maitre'd apologized, offered an excuse or offered a dessert. My food was laden with garlic, which I am allergic to. Neither the menu, nor the waiter mentioned garlic in the dish. I was sick all evening and the following day from the garlic and/or the poor experience.
We will not return!
Noisy, expensive for what you get, food not great. Won't go back
Although we waited about 45 minutes after our reservation time, it was well worth the wait
I’m guessing that had it not been a Saturday night and had they not had a party going on in their other space, everything would have been great. However, we waited almost 2 hours before our main course came. Although the server and later, owner, came over to say (3x) the food would be out shortly, in my opinion, waiting 1 3/4 hours for food is not “shortly “. The owner could have apologized and perhaps offered free coffee or a free dessert for our long wait but instead he simply explained why the wait was occurring. He should be able to manage Saturday nights better.
We had 2 birthdays to celebrate that day & we had 7 people for a Saturday lunch. The place was not crowded. It's a byob, which we like. Our waitress was excellent. The menu is part Asian & part Italian & the selections are very varied. There was only one time that we had a problem & felt that it was not addressed properly. We were not going to come back, but we decided not to let one incident ruin it for us. So, we tried again & never had another problem. The prices are reasonable & we had a great time.
This restaurant was awesome. The owner, Michael was insanely accommodating with Open Table told us they had availability but in actuality they did not. He was incredibly apologetic and crazy nice. My only beef was that we sat near an incredibly loud table (so loud I couldn't hear the people I was sitting with). Everyone loved their food though, so that was a plus. Everything was delicious and everything was great. I would recommend you avoid sitting by the windows the draft is rough!
Best food in the area... Everything on the menu is fabulous... you can’t go wrong with whatever you choose
Friends and I chose Bistro 1051 as our holiday get-together spot this year. Since I had been there dozens of times before, including our daughter's wedding celebration luncheon, several birthdays, as well as business dinners, I was confident that the meal would be good. My only complaint, however, has to do with customer relations. I didn't complain when the owner, who we have seen countless times before, didn't even say hello once when passing about 10 times ... no complaints even when the noise level was beyond being able to hear our table's conversation (not within their control, I know!) The complaint was that we were charged $6.00 to have three cupcakes brought to our table. Not only did we purchase a round of coffees to have with our dessert, but we also purchased apps and meals, with a tab well over $100.00. The surcharge ended up being more than the cost of the cupcakes! Bringing our own sweets was to accommodate our friend's favorite. Even though the amount was trivial, it left a bad taste in my mouth.
Menu is extensive and has many different types of food. I enjoyed the flatbread. The noise level is a little high and sitting by the windows can be drafty on a cold night. The service is a bit better than ok, but not great. My biggest issue was that the open table review said that california wines were available, but when i got there they said "go to the liquor store". I suggest you get that edited.
We had an awesome meal. It is a BYOB, there is a liquor store in the same shopping center if you forget.
This is our 5th visit to Bistro 1051 and we were once again thrilled with our meal and experience—this trip included a large party of 8 to celebrate a birthday. We requested a table in the corner via OpenTable notes section and were accommodated by the staff. Our table was far from other diners which aloud us some privacy and kept us from disturbing other diners as we are a somewhat loud group.
Ian and Amy, our wait staff, were attentive, friendly, patient with our older guests that had questions and very knowledgeable of the menu and preparations. Ian was able to make suggestions for alternate side dishes and alternate preparations to accommodate our group. Imsuggest the short ribs—sauce was excellent and meat fork tender. We also enjoyed the grilled fish specials, calimari and risotto.
Overall it was an excellent dining experience. Great food, good atmosphere (though a bit cold for guests seated near windows) and impeccable service.
The food was good but the service was poor. Our food took a while and we had to move tables. We also waiting for our table for 15 minutes.
I have been here a few times and never been disappointed. The service and the food is good. My friends loved it.
Really enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. Will recommend to others.
Always good food. Service a bit slow and very noisy.
We had lunch at this restaurant and it was very good. Th e food was excellent with big portions. We enjoyed our meal because we weren’t rushed. We go again to this restaurant
The service was top notch. Our waiter made sure we had everything we needed and was very friendly. Would recommend highly. Menu was unique and food was very tasty. Surprised by the selection on the menu.
