Bistro 1051 Ratings and Reviews
it was a very busy Saturday evening, we had a reservation but had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated. But the food was excellent, everyone was happy. and the service was very good too. It might not be the best choice for a quite date, but for groups who want good seafood, it is the place
This was not our first visit to this restaurant. That says a lot about the place. We reserved a table for 5 and were promptly seated. The place was packed with a few large partys so the noise level was high, but that eased once they left. The food was delicious and the service was top notch. That says it all! You cant go wrong with enjoying a meal at this establishment.
FYI, Its a BYOB.
Make sure you eat before because your food won’t come out until over an hour. Then you will be told you should have ordered an appetizer because everyone knows the food takes a long time because Saturday nights are busy. Plus if you make a reservation, you will then get it thrown in your face by the manager that you were sat immediately ... as if that doesn’t happen when you have a reservation. Not worth the decent food. Noisy, sub par and horrible service with a waitress that likes to touch the men at your table every time she is there. Learn some professionalism and stop touching married men’s shoulders and arms. Way to make people uncomfortable. You definitely lost a recommendation. Never again !!!
Very nice! I'm a regular and I am always pleasantly surprised by the chef's creations. The filet of bronzino, any style, is a tasty, high quality fish. The shrimp and chorizo tapas has a unique, kickass sauce! Jessica is a wonderful waitress. My mother was impressed by the quality of the service and the food!
This is a very nice and cozy restaurant tucked in the back of a strip mall. It's BYOB and there is also a very nice liquor store in the same strip mall. Service was great and food was absolutely delicious. Penne vodka was top notch and dynamite shrimp flat bread was also very good. Definitely coming back in the future.
This was my first visit, but it won't be my last. The meal was the star here. From appetizer to dessert, the food was delicious. It's not often that I have so many delicious choices on the menu, I can't make up my mind. At one point the service lagged, otherwise this restaurant would have received a 5-star rating across the board.
The bronzino fish with lemon sauce and lobster and asparagus risotto was out of this world. The sauce in the tapas chorizo and shrimp was unique and very tasty. The mussels in white sauce were a bit bland. Extra garlic or Pernod sauce would have given it a kick! I come here regularly. I respect the owner and the establishment enough to bring my mother and my fiancée here for fine, Old World dining. None of the dishes here will disappoint you!!!
We met friends here using the "meetways" app. And what a treasure we discovered! Great service in a comfortable, relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Food was outstanding - I choose from the "Healthy" section of the menu, and the whole wheat fettuccine was delicious. Other dishes at our table: the special shrimp scampi and the Parmesan encrusted salmon. All agreed, best dinner in a new place that we will definitely make the trip for again! The dessert was, simply put, to die for - a fried cheesecake tower with fruit OMG! The owner was gracious and friendly, as though we were "regulars."
Great meal. Menu is varied and everything was tasty. Wait staff was very pleasant and owner came over and was really nice asking if we needed anything and was genuinely concerned about our opinions and making sure we were happy. We weren't rushed even though it was late and we're told to take our time and not to rush.
This was our first time at the restaurant and we loved it! The food was exquisite ,the ambiance was great, the staff very accommodating and friendly. The owner Michael was very attentive to all patrons. We look forward to our next dining experience at Bistro 1051 on Easter Sunday.
I have been to Bistro 1051 twice now and both times the food was excellent! and the service was great. My last visit I tried some sushi and sashimi appetizers and I was very pleased.
My first visit was very comfortable with an acceptable noise level. My last visit however, was much louder and can be a bit tough to put up with (I did). Having said that; it won't stop me from going again.
My one main gripe (which nobody mentions) is when they serve some steak dish and light it on fire at the customer table. The room fills with smoke from the oil, and depending on how close you are sitting to that table, your clothes will pick up that odor and you will have to wash or have them dry cleaned the next day. If they're going to continue that, they should invest in some sort of ventilation.
