The food was really delicious and very well made. Really, everything was very good and the service was timely but not intrusive. It was a quiet Monday, so conversation for a larger group worked very well.

We have dined at Bistecca twice recently. Both times happened to be before or after a show at a nearby location. The food is excellent. Among the diners, at both occasions, we ordered oxtail, French dip sandwich, a steak, and seared ahi salad. We also ordered mussels and caprese for appetizers. Every one voted thumbs up. My husband said the beef and mussels are among the best he has tasted. He also likes the wedge salad side. Soups are also very good. Service is good.
Occasionally we have gone to the bar. It's been a great experience too. The menu at the bar is oriented to salads & small bites. Highly recommended. (When weather is warm enough, Bistecca has wonderful patio seating as well)

Bistecca can be a little under the radar due to its location. Definitely recommend you go!

We really enjoy the food here, and it was no exception this night. My husband had a steak, and another dining companion had the osso bucco. I had the ahi salad, which is on the casual menu offered at the bar (they are very flexible in the dining room - one can order from either the casual or the dining menu). For an appetizer, we shared the mussels.

Every dish was exquisite. My husband is a foodie and very discerning about beef, and how different cuts taste and are prepared. He commented on how good his steak was, and our companion also gave a thumbs up to the osso bucco. The tuna on my salad, and the salad itself, were fantastic. The mussels were excellent, prepared in a nice broth and nice size mussels.

Service was attentive. The only glitch was that I ordered dressing on the side for my ahi tuna main, and my husband asked for the same on his wedge salad that came with the meal. In both cases, the salads were dressed. We commented to the waitress, and she immediately took them back to the kitchen so that we could have them the way we requested. The turnaround on this was also quick.

We sometimes eat at the bar area. We enjoy it, and there is a nice balance of ambience, food, very good wine and beer, throughout the establishment. If you want super casual, the bar is terrific. If you want something more sedate, and the flexibility of ordering casual and dining, the dining room is very nice.

Quality of food and options is terrific. We highly recommend.

This was our first visit to the Bistecca. We used to go to the Granary periodically, but I didn't like the menu. The Bistecca menu was recognizable and delicious! Two of the menu items we wanted to order were sold out(Prime Rib & Apple Ale Beer). My husband has to have Gluten Free. To make up for the inconvenience, our server gave us a free dessert!! Great service, great food, and great atmosphere.... We'll be back! :)

We live 100 miles away, and If I say we plan to return as many times as possible, that should sum up our feelings about our dining experience. From the friendliness of the staff, the total ambiance and the quality of the food, you will find none better. Enjoy!

We made reservations just because of billings you never know… We got there at 5:30 had our choice of tables we sat in front of the fireplace which was nice. We had a nice bottle of Chardonnay one of us had a prime rib and the other had a ribeye… The ribeye was done really well just a very thick cut for a normal ribeye. The big potatoes were great the wedge salad was a whole head wedge salad so I would suggest sharing a wedge salad.over all a nice meal.

Great place to meet before going to Studio Theater. The staff was efficient and friendly. The pork chop was great as was the salmon. The breaded shrimp was OK, could not really taste the shrimp itself-bland. Salads were good and huge. They could be a meal in themselves. Nice atmosphere.

My wife , of 26 years, and I celebrated our anniversary at the Bistecca and we where very very elated with the atmosphere and food. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We shared the pasta special that had bites of rib eye steak, green peppers, mushrooms in a nice homemade sauce. Then for dessert we shared a tiramisu, again homemade. Thank you Bisstecca for making our date night amazing!!!!

When we arrived we were seated immediately and asked about drinks. We had to wait about 45 minutes for the rest of the party to arrive. The server was pleasant and kept checking on us. The rest of the part arrived we ordered diner and it was quickly served. Thee of us ordered the wedge of lettuce. Be advised it serves 2 and was excellent everyone was happy with the food, wine and service. Would recommend.

Ambience was better than I had expected. Unfortunately the food reviews were rather accurate. My veal piccata had far too much vinegar owing to unwashed capers. My wife's Bolognese was just average. For dessert I have to say my crème brûlée was spot on but the Tara Massoud was just a bit lacking. Having said this I would still probably go here again and thought it really not any farther down then the field house but with better ambience.

The service was slow, but the servers were friendly and accommodating.
The food was good, but most in the party salted their food even though they are not known to do so normally.
A higher level of service and food was expected for the price.

We are new to the Billings area. First year anniversary. I was looking for a upper class romantic restaurant for this occasion. When i made my reservation online I requested a romantic table.

WOW did they deliver! They put a 2 person table right in front of a beautiful fire place. The ambiance was amazing. The service was amazing. The food was amazing!

We started the evening with drinks in the bar. Then once seated ordered the Stuffed Portobello Mushrooms. I would LOVE the recipe. I then had 16 ounces of medium rare prime rib followed by dessert.

We will go to again. Thank you for a great night!

We have been going to the "Granary" for many years. The new owners and manager have done an "outstanding" job of continuing or improving on the service with friendly and knowledgeable staff and an outstanding menu and bar. The waiters and waitresses are very responsive and helpful. We bring guests with us on numerous occasions and are always appreciative of the service and ambiance of Bistecca at The Granary.

This recent event, my 72nd Birthday was particularly enjoyable and memorial.

Thank You to all of the Bistecca's staff.

We held our wedding reception upstairs 32 years ago. We happened to be in the area on business and chose to celebrate our anniversary there. The prime rib is still incredible as was our entire meal. The wait staff was great. Hopefully the hostess comes out of her shell soon. The first person customers interact with should be more welcoming. Petty perhaps but we are very customer service minded having spent our entire working lives in that arena. All in all, a lovely evening and we will return and recommend.

Very few options for Dairy and Gluten allergies. Limited menu overall, water glass remained empty for a large portion of the meal. I believe the chef missed the mark on steak temperature, although it's debatable--we ordered medium and the steak was very red and bloody inside, it was definitely medium-rare in my opinion. Sent it back to the kitchen and it was over done when it came back--lesson learned. Pleasant staff, reservation system worked well, great location, quiet, out of the way, nice place. I think it was a might on the pricey side, but not bad. $70 for 2 without drinks or dessert, including tip.
