We visited on Saturday for our anniversary. Crabcakes for appetizer, My husband had the Bistecca salad and a huge Bone-in Ribeye and I had my favorite..Wedge salad and the Beef and Crab. Don't leave without dessert...try the Pecan Twill!!!!
Two days later we are still talking about our wondeful meal.

We had a wonderful meal at BISTECCA. Mine was the special that night, blackened sea bass and it was done perfectly. My wife had Veal Di Vinci and it too was great.

I've driven by it a few times and when I needed to find a place for a birthday dinner, and found it on OpenTable, I booked it. So glad I did. Service is impeccable.

Overall it was great. Have been in on numerous occasions and it seldom disappoints in quality and service. My only reluctance in awarding 5 stars across the board, is that we had two in our group order rib eye steaks only to be told they were out. Not sure how a steak house runs out of rib eyes, but it was a Monday night so maybe a big weekend. But that aside, the strips were fantastic and steak Salerno appetizer is the best.

I had not been since it was The Grotto and thought we'd give it a try. The server seemed disappointed we were not ordering drinks and even more disappointed that my daughter ordered the Steak Salerno for her entree. She was attentive, but would rather have another high-billed table. When we finished our meal, she offered my daughter the dessert menu and again was visibly irritated that she ordered the Soufflé. (a 30 minute wait) I could understand if there was a line waiting to get in, but there was no one waiting and there were several empty tables at this point. The steak and souffle were fabulous and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed her birthday. Luckily, she was not attuned to the irritation of the server.
I ordered the Pork Chop which was a little tough, but the flavor was so good, it was not worth mentioning.
Due to the company, we had a nice night celebrating a birthday and will return, I will just make sure we are ready to order drinks and a couple of Ribeyes.

Excellent menu and portions are appropriate without being too small. Excellent service and ambiance. Good value with an extensive menu.

Food was excellent as always. This is by far the best restaurant in the Lewisville, Highland Village and Flower Mound area.

Infrequent meeting of friends and we found our primary place overbooked. This great establishment was able to fit us in and provide the best of service with great food. Entre’s ranged from Salmon to Medallions to Vegetarian and everything came out perfect.

Found this restaurant based on other recommendations on OpenTable. The value for the quality of food that we received was awesome! Everything was very tasty. The Steak Salerno appetizer was amazing!

Outstanding once again! Repeat visit. Was very tasty cuisine and great service. The menu has something to please any taste buds. It is not a cheap date night out, but for what it is it shouldn't be!

Everything's always great. Food, people and atmosphere.

We went for an early Valentine's Day Dinner to beat the crowd. We had a reservation and were seated upon arrival. Our waiter verbally quote the kids menu and got our five year old some pasta in a hurry. This was a big win!!! My wife had the Steak Salerno and I had the Duck...both were good, not great. The mussels and salads were excellent. Flourless chocolate cake for dessert was also outstanding. The design of the facility leads to it being a bit loud. No big deal...except we could not help but hear the local subdivision gossip. Solid place...not to die for, but a well executed delivery of a nice meal. Prices would seem to be OK for the area and image the restaurant is trying to pull off. I'd would encourage you to go for a special occasion. Better options exist if you are simply hungry on a Friday evening.

Wonderful Night! Food was delicious!!! Soufke was fun!

Started off on the wrong foot. We had 7:15 reservation and were told we'd have to wait maybe 20 minutes when we arrived. The walk to the bar area is strange with all the curtains. Someone must have heard me say to my wife that they were off on the wrong foot because they came to the bar and got us right away.
All of the food was excellent however one member of the party ordered his steak with very little pink and had to send it back to get it they way he wanted. I expect an Italian Steak house to get that right the first try. The table was quite small for 4 people and consequently the bus boys were always asking to take plates away, frequently before we were done with them.
The noise level was higher than I expect in such nice restaurant.

Very friendly and efficient staff. They have a wide variety of upscale choices from steaks to seafood. I always order the duck which is delicious. My husband loved his steak. On another occasion our guest loved the sea bass. They have many choices of appetizers and salads, as well as wonderful desserts (souffles!). I love their crab soup (my only wish is that it would be a little thicker). Overall, we love this place and will be back often!

My wife and I recently had our anniversary dinner at Bistecca. Wonderful, calm atmosphere serving delicious appetizers, steaks and a very sinful chocolate desert to polish off the evening. Highland Village is lucky to have such a relaxing, but high-end, eating establishment.

The restaurant has a wonderful ambiance and the service was excellent. The scallop appetizer was delicious as was the souffle for dessert. Our main courses were good as well, though our steak was a bit more on the medium side (ordered medium rare) but everything was still flavorful and the experience was enjoyable. We will definitely return.

The food and drinks were fantastic, love the idea about the owner/ chef came out and talked to each table.

Beau was our server. He’s great. Didn’t rush you. Made great recommendations. Really knows how make the night special. The only complaint-the tables are really crammed in there tight. If you’re stuck on the long wall as you walk in, you’re pretty much in each other’s laps.

Bistecca offers one of the most delicious fine dining experiences in the Dallas/FtWorth metroplex. Chef Morris Salerno’s cuisine is spectacular, offering a tasty selection of Italian/New American dishes. He has some of the best steaks, and one of the best selections of fresh seafood, in town. His desserts are a spectacular. Service is always professional and friendly. Bistecca is one of the best restaurants in DFW!

Fantastic! The wait staff in particular gives a wonderful experience, some of the best the best waiters I've ever experienced.

We have lived within blocks of this restaurant for over 13 years and had never gone in. It sits a little off the main thru street and so you don't think about it. We were Christmas shopping and I noted that tomorrow night we would have dinner there. I mean after 13 years and it's still there. . .has to be good? We arrived for our reservation and were promptly seated. Our waiter came to say hell-o, a gentleman named "Bo" who informed us he would be serving us that evening. The interaction between us and Bo was perfect. After our appetizer he brought us a sample of "steak salerno", what a treat. It was delicious and will certainly be on our list next time. My wife had the blackened salmon that was on special and I had a New York strip that was on special that evening. My wife said it was the best she has ever had, and my steak was wonderful. We ordered an after dinner drink and then Bo brought us a chocolate desert as a gift on the house. That just topped it off. Too make a long story short. .the food was awesome, and the service impeccable. This restaurant is a little pricey, on the order of a Ruth Chris, but I would rate the food and the experience above a Ruth Chris. This is a neighborhood gem and I can see how it has stood the test of time. There is no question that we will be back for special occasions and even date night. These folks just do it perfectly.

Escargot was the best we've ever had. Even though everything else was excellent, we'll remember the escargot for ever.

This was my second time at Bistecca!!! Both times, my experience has been SUPERB!!! Food is Excellent! Staff is Welcoming! Decor is comfortable! Wine List is Amazing! I loved every minute of this experience.

Excellent food. The soufflés are huge-we we’re not informed of the size at the time of our order. The staff was accommodating -we were seated under an extremely loud speaker and they were kind enough to turn it down so that we could actually hear each other and our wait staff-although the chef did come and complain that it wasn’t loud enough. The entire resturaunt is loud in general.
