Amazing staff and service. Extremely accommodating to my allergies. Would happily go back
Birthday. They were great with our table. Super attentive and great outdoor seating area. Inside is beautiful though as well.
Loved the food and they were playing awesome music. Great outdoor set up. They even had overhead heaters when it started getting chilly. Would definitely recommend it and go back..
I’ve been to Bistango many times. Great place for outdoor dining rain or shine!
It was my first time there and everyone including myself were extremely happy.
Bistango never disappoints! Food and service are always amazing. Love this place!
Very cordial staff. I was with my young granddaughter. They were very accommodating
Since I am gluten free, we dine or take out often from Bistango. We've been to the location at both 29th Street and at the Kimberly and it is SO REFRESHING to have great pasta, flatbread and EVEN DESSERT options that are gluten free. (I wish restaurants would stop trying to console my sweet tooth with lemon sorbet.) They even bring gluten free bread to the table when we are seated. Recently, we dined outdoors at Bistango and it was a beautiful night, hence they were very busy. (NYC restaurants are all challenged with staffing since many former waiters decamped to other markets during COVID). Bistango is no different. During our dinner, we realized that the manager/hostess was also the only waiter managing so many tables. I have to give TOP MARKS and MAJOR KUDOS to her for juggling with such aplomb. I wish that I had asked her name so that I could specifically name her...but if you are that level-headed and cheery women or the owner of Bistango...you know who she is. Delivering a great meal during these tough times is commendable, and we all have to applaud the restaurants that have survived and still kept a smile on their face.
Fantastic food and outdoor space for a business meal. Great service. So friendly. Very good GF options!!
It's a nice place, not so crowded. Friendly staff but the food was mediocre, not really good quality.
Morning risotto was out of this world
Very nice atmosphere and server was great
Staff is always very accommodating to my special dietary needs. I have celiac disease and they make it a joy to actually eat gluten free.
Great place and pretty good menu. The staff is amazing.
Very nice dinner as always. Always wonderful service.
The food was really awful. I ordered the sausage frittata and it was really really awful. It had a sour taste to it.
Had the most wonderful time – I'm gluten-free and they had TONS of options. Last time I came here was my first date with my now-husband over 6 years ago at a downtown location. The service was attentive; they have a fabulous and WARM outdoor set-up for COVID, and the food was so tasty. We were eating with friends who hadn't seen us since we got married and the waiter gave us some free wine!! Loved it.
Very Good food at reasonable price. Excellent service.
We had a delicious dinner at Bistango. The pasta is homemade and so good!
Food was absolutely delicious...especially burrata, butternut squash ravioli and eggplant Parmesan. Friendly and attentive wait staff. Top off dinner with tiramisu!
Excellent food and friendly helpful staff
We used to go to the third Avenue location, which has since closed. I think that location was generally better. Food is still hood but not spectacular. Gelato was a bit icy. There was one waiter who was going from table to table loudly socializing. Despite the fact that there were just a few of us dining, he was all we could hear. It definitely took away some of the pleasure of dining out
The restaurant wasn't crowded when we arrived, we were seated quickly. It took our server 12 mins to bread to our table. We ordered a glass of Prosecco and a Cosmopolitan, the cosmos was made incorrectly and we told our waiter. We sent it back ask for a Persecco. We ordered the prosciutto flat bread pizza, truffle fries and tricolor cauliflower as appetizers. The cauliflower was soggy and the fries and pizza were ok. I ordered the Pesto Pasta but was told they were out so I asked for the Bell and Evan's chicken, it was good. My friend ordered the eggplant Parmigiana and she left more than half if it because it wasn't good.
When we received our check we were still charged for the Cosmopolitan we set back. The food was mediocre, staff was friendly, the decor was outdated. I won't be back to eat here again.
My parents and I love the Bistango we always come here when they visit me in the city. Mondays are half off all wine bottles and the menu is gluten-free so can’t beat that. Portions are great. We’ve had the lamb shank, flatbread pizza, butternut squash ravioli, fried calamari (off of their happy hour menu!) and the steak and each time we are full and satisfied. Servers and wait staff are friendly and attentive. They pay attention to Covid restrictions and have a great outdoor space with ample space between tables. Definitely worth a visit!
Bistango is a consistently great restaurant with excellent food and an amazing staff. This was my first time there for brunch and the food and service was a great as ever. In my reservation I asked if they could bring out a little pastry out as a surprise for my sisters birthday. I wasn’t sure if they’d be able to accept that request but at the end of the meal they gave her a chocolate treat with a candle as I hoped for.
The staff is perfectly attentive and careful with food allergies. Would definitely recommend.
A nice little hideaway on the East side of the city.
Always amazing, food great, gluten free choices are wonderful. I would visit more often if I lived in NYC
I really love this place. The food is great. They adhere to all the safety protocols and the service is top notch.
I booked a dinner reservation at Bistango for Valentine's day and was extremely displeased. The service, both at the hostess booth, as well as from our waiter was sub-par for NYC. In addition to that, both appetizers we ordered were of such low quality that we sent one back and opted to leave the restaurant and go elsewhere to eat. I would not recommend dining here.
The hostess was so accommodating and kind!! The mushroom flatbread pizza was delicious too!
Great food and great service! Will definitely return!
The prices were jacked up way higher than expected.
Valentine’s Day dinner 5/5. Food, service, prices and ambiance were all impeccable. Highly recommend.
The food was overpriced and mediocre
Cozy outdoor dining- great service and yummy food!
Lovely experience and waitstaff was amazing . Went on a dinner date with my mom and it was an amazing experience. Good/drinks were delicious.
The service was great. The food was great. The drinks were strong. Will definitely go again for brunch.
Great service& great food. Also happy hour during covid is ++!!
Erin the manager was awesome, made our experience amazing!
We waited over an hour after our reservation to be seated
