This is one of my favorite restaurants in New York City. I should tell you that I’m gluten free so that might have something to do with it, but I take friends who are not gluten-free all the time and they enjoy it just as much as I do. You can’t go wrong.

We received excellent service - beginning to end! And they seated us in a lovely private seating area - so nice for a family celebration. Food was delish - and so special for my daughter who requires gluten free food. Never disappoints!!

can't believe we found a GREAT gluten free restaurant in the city. only 2 of us were gluten free, 5 of us not. But everyone had gluten free food and LOVED it. service was incredible, food delicious and I cannot wait to go back. (and I don't EVER write a review). Enjoy!

Fantastic atmosphere, great service, and outstanding food. Every item on the menu is gluten free and absolutely delicious. It was a bonus that we were staying at The Kimberly so it was super convenient. I highly recommend Bistango. We intend to go back in the future!

This was a pre-Opera dinner, and so we had to eat early but were not very hungry. We decided to request mostly appetizers and to share several dishes. The staff were very gracious about this. The food was fresh, sparkling with flavor and color, and delicious, and one of us was extremely pleased to have gluten-free bread on the table. It's a great choice for gluten-free diners and seems to have some paleo-emphasis too, judging by the size of the antipasto servings of salamis and hams. My favorite was the fig and speck appetizer.

We had wonderful food allergy accommodations. The staff took extra care of our child and went over the safest options for us to enjoy. It was a real treat to get to eat out! They even had safe bread on hand for us to enjoy. The food was delicious and the best meal for all of us. This place is amazing!!!

Our waiter was odd - we asked him if he had any recommendations and he gave us a weird look and said everything was good. Our apps were good but entrees were extremely bland.

Bistango was AWESOME. I came with my family, and 3 of us have celiacs (gluten-intolerance). Everyone here was very sensitive to this and catered to us without making us feel like pariahs. We are so appreciative of their hospitality and welcoming energy as this was our first stop on our trip to new york. Definitely will be back, thank you Bistango for the excellent experience!

Restaurant was nice itself, but the food was just average. I ordered a frittata that was nothing over the top just ok. The potatoes were not cooked enough and were hard. Service was great & waitress & busboy were very attentive.

Pastas (cauliflower, butternut squash ravioli) were uniquely prepared and tasty, though portions were not large. Beets in salad were sweet and crunchy, but could have used more ricotta, which was practically non-existent. Great bread and oil.

So disappointed. We love Bistango at its other location and were so looking forward to enjoying brunch here at the Kimberly. Our waiter was lovely but did not check us in so I ended up with an email from OpenTable asking why I had missed my reservation. The gluten free bread was small and tasteless, I slathered butter on it to make it edible. The frittata was over cooked and quite honestly you couldn't even tell it was supposed to be an egg dish. My daughter had a pasta dish that she felt was tasteless and not good to the point of her not eating it. The waiter was nice enough to take it off the bill. Other than the $4 mimosa the meal was a total bust. Nothing like the 3rd Ave location which is absolutely fantastic!

Bistango never disappoints! I've been back a few times both for brunch and dinner. Today my friend and I had brunch. I ordered the mushroom flatbread which is absolutely delicious! I also had a bloody mary that was seasoned perfectly!

I love the vibe at this restaurant - relaxing and never too noisy.

The service is attentive and your water glass is never empty. Special shout out to Milan, who is a terrific waiter.

I highly recommend!

Such a treat! We’ll be back whenever in Manahattan. Would highly recommend to anyone especially for folks with allergy concerns.

The vegan/vegetarian and gluten free options are well thought out and apparently well built into the DNA of this restaurant and that was great. The food was also very good, and the noise level comfortable even when busy, not too loud but not so quiet that others could hear our conversation.

This was an amazing find for anyone who is either gluten intolerant or has someone they care about who is. Their Italian menu is expertly done - with a light touch. But amazingly they promise that anything on the menu can be made gluten-free - even pasta and bread! The portions are generous. The food is delicious and the staff was amazingly attentive and helpful. The atmosphere is a bit shabby chic - but fun. The night we were there the wine (which was very good) was 2 bottles for the price of 1. It's a great location - we were staying at a hotel just around the corner - and we had such a good experience the first night that we brought six other colleagues on the following night. And they loved it too!

My sister and I brought our two nieces to NYC for a Birthday celebration. They both have nut and sesame allergies. The waiter asked us right at the start if there were any allergies. He was very knowledgeable of allergies and made us feel very comfortable eating there. The food was delicious and the wait staff was wonderful. My nieces already asked if we can go there next time!

I highly recommend for this with allergies and those without!
