   We had a fabulous time at dinner. Our waitress went above and beyond. We were dining with our son who has multiple life-threatening food allergies. She gave us many suggestions and they ended up making him a dish that was not on the menu. It was fabulous and we all enjoyed a wonderful night.

   Always a great place to have lunch. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and food excellent. They have a good fixed price menu for lunch, as well as a la carte.

   I did note on the reservation that it was a very special occasion, I guess that it wasn’t passed along because no one mentioned it. 50th birthday was the big deal. Good food and presented nicely. We would return.

   I was extremely disappointed in the veal parm I had and my wife's chicken parm was not much better. I was so looking forward to a NYC italian restaurant. My veal was over cooked tough and flavorless. My wife's chicken looked like a pre breaded thick piece of chicken. If your not pounding fresh chicken and veal until it's thin and tender your just not a good restaurant. I completely understand how hard it is to be profitable in the restaurant business but anyone going to your place is not concerned about price and you can easily price to make money AND if it is second to none no one will care about price. Good veal should be fork tender and melt in your mouth. Unfortunately this seems to be a trend in all restaurants these days. Very hard to get a top notch meal anywhere. Great people nice servers and beautiful place. Mind you i am 56 years old and remember good food. The youth of today including my daughters have never really experienced it due to all of the Cisco type pre packaged proteins of today. Anyway that's my take on my experience

    We have been coming to Bistango at the Kimberly Hotel on East 50th Street for several years. Great place for a business lunch or evening dinner with family and friends. Fabulous Gluten Free (celiac appropriate) menu. They have a great lunch special and also offer a discounted glass of wine with the lunch special. We have tried a variety of items over the years, and we think they actually got better with time! Great service too!

    Wonderful restaurant, wonderful food. Our server was fantastic. someone in our group is gluten free and she really enjoyed her meal. Can't wait to go back on Saturday and try the brunch menu.

    I have celiac, so it was nice to have a completely gluten free menu and to feel confident that the restaurant paid close attention to our gluten free concerns; the servers brought gluten free bread to the table without us even requesting. We got a salad, a pasta, and an entree to share. The salad was good, the pasta was great, and the entree (fish) was very bad. However, the service was good and the servers were attentive.

    Great lunch special and service. Food was very good. We were not seated in the main part of the restaurant- disappointing; instead in a sparse room (felt like we were in a lobby). Aldo there were dead flowers on the table.

    This has become my midtown lunch/brunch spot on Sundays for the good food, healthy choices, and surprisingly good value in that neighborhood. It’s also an easy walk from my church at 53rd and Fifth Ave. - a great place to meet friends from all over town.

    This place was so rude. I made a reservation and they informed me they were too busy and it would take a while for us to be seated. The hostess was the rudest person I’ve ever met and we felt so uncomfortable we left without eating. I don’t recommend.

    Staying at the Hotel so convenient. Enjoyed the outdoor dining, it was cold out but they had heaters on. Anything on the menu can be made GF! Would dine again!

    The atmosphere was very low key. Service was excellent and the food was amazing. I love grilled octopus, and it's hard to do well. The grilled octopus appetizer was excellent. My guest is also gluten free for health reasons, and they are able to do anything GF. I am excited to return.

    Bistango has become my "go to" place for Sunday brunch in Midtown that is a convenient location, has excellent food for health-conscious folks like me, warm and attentive service, and is not over-priced. So many lovely places closed during the pandemic that it's wonderful to find a small hotel that's reliable for those who love good food that's well presented but are neither billionaires nor on big corporate expense accounts!

    Came here because of the gluten free options. Overall the experience was good, the appetizer (flatbread) was over priced and very thin. Not worth the money. We split the chicken parm and they first brought out the chicken with no parm! We asked for the tomato sauce on the side. They ended up making it agin and it was much better. The gluten free bread was excellent. The pasta was very good as well. Couldn’t even tell it was gluten free. The service was good although they sometimes mixed up our order with another table near us. The manager was very nice and accommodating. He took an interest in our experience. We would definitely go back again but would stay away from the expensive flat breads. It’s tough to find places that are so accommodating to gluten free options.

    We had a nice holiday weekend lunch. Flatbreads were good. Egg dishes were bland. Great for gluten free which some in our group were. Setting was nice. Servers friendly although could have refilled the waters without us having to ask repeatedly.

    We went here on our anniversary and the ambience was great and we were really excited but our server barely showed up to our table and when he did it seemed like he wasn’t interested in serving us,while he chatted with tables around us he seemed to mostly ignore us,the wines were good but the food was plain,hard and barely edible but the server never came back to check on us,we were really excited to try this place out but we were severely disappointed

    A wonderful experience at Bistango. I am gluten-free, but my husband and 2 children are not. The menu at Thanksgiving was delicious for us all. The stuffing was amazing…Best I have ever had. The staff was so attentive and helpful with our small children (even when one spilled a glass of water.) Thank you, Bistango, for another amazing meal. We will be back!

    The food was very good and the service attentive as usual, and I appreciated the option to have the entire meal gluten-free! The patio is a nice setting, well-covered with heat lamps. However, the outdoor area has a problem with pests--we had a cocktail and a glass of wine ruined by tiny bugs flying into them, and we were charged to replace those drinks.
