We are delighted to announce that as of Monday 17th May 2021 we will be open again inside for some delicious food & drinks!
Please see details below regarding our opening hours
Our restaurant will be open to both residents & non-residents for food service Sunday - Thursday 5.30pm - 9.00pm & Friday & Saturday 3.00pm - 9.00pm. Last sitting's for tables will be at 8.30pm. Alcohol is now permitted to be served indoors & all guest must vacate any indoor spaces by 10.30pm.

Our bar is now open for indoor & outdoor seating Sunday - Thursday 5.00pm - 10.30pm & Friday & Saturday 3.00pm - 10.30pm. Last orders will be 10.00pm & all guest must vacate all area by 10.30pm.

Outdoor seating is available on a first come first served basis alcohol may be served outside until 9.45pm & all guests must vacate any outdoor spaces by 10.00pm.

Please note inline with government guidance 2 hour limit per table applies to all reservations

Great food, wonderful service, would absolutely recommend - plenty of Covid precautions too. We saw areas being cleaned regularly! Will definitely be back!

We arrived slightly early 6:35pm, for a 6:45pm booking. We did get seated pretty much immediately. From there.... it ALL went downhill. Drinks slow to arrive Jugs of water not arriving Missing items from order Basically, the worst meal I’ve ever had. We skipped deserts and currently in a restaurant in Edinburgh simply to get the deserts, coffees and drinks we wanted this side of 2025... I genuinely think it’s because we had two children with us. We were in a corner and basically forgotten about.

Poor service due to chronic understaffing and overbooking by management. Was advised that the restaurant had planned for 30 bookings and 60 turned up. Consequently we had to wait a full hour for our starters and a further 30 mins for our mains. We did receive a free bottle of wine by way of an apology. Food was pretty bland and relatively unseasoned. My steak was nearer well done instead of medium. Surprisingly they were very quick at taking payment after we received our bill.

Although at first we were the only diners at 5.15pm as we were heading to the theatre soon another couple arrived and then a party of six. The service was attentive and the staff pleasant. The food was hot and delicious. A somewhat hidden gem in Bruntsfield. Have been on numerous occasions and never been disappointed.
