Nice modern tastefully decorated restaurant, staff/owner extremely friendly and attentive, food was amazing. We had a 3 course Sunday lunch on Father’s Day and we’ll be booking again in the future that’s for sure! Everything about this fine dining experience was up & beyond.

I am so delighted to have discovered this restaurant. I made my reservation to try it out for the first time but my experience was so outstanding that it is obviously going to be one of our top favourites. The food is mouth watering with an artistic and stylish presentation. Service is perfect, attentive, unobtrusive and friendly. The ambience is lovely and full of character. Awesome restaurant

We received a warm, friendly greeting and enjoyed a drink at the bar contemplating the menu before being shown to our table. Table very well laid it, pristine cloths and sparkling glasses. Complimentary canapés, warm bread. The food was beautifully presented and very tasty. I had charred mackerel and sea bass, my husband had duck terrine and sirloin steak. All dishes were delicious. No room for pudding! Music playing softly in the background. A gem in the city of Norwich.

I came to Bishop’s with my family for Sunday lunch we ate basically one of everything on offer every course with wine pairings Alessandro is an incredible host the Chef is fabulous and it’s evident how passionate he is about his food. The presentation was excellent. I had the fish of the day. I can’t find fault in anything I ate and I am quite picky and a chef myself. My mother went for the Sunday roast and it was absolutely amazing. It was a large portion so I got to have some of hers. It was the nicest roast I’ve ever had. The flavours were rich and bold and beautiful the textures of the pork. The crackling was the best crackling I’ve ever had I give it an absolute 10 out of 10 super super impressed. I’m here visiting from the United States and I would literally come back to Norwich just so that I could eat at bishops again.
