A small, intimate restaurant perfectly situated on the oldest lane in Norwich, Bishops Dining Room and Wine Bar is everything you would expect from a fine dining restaurant and more. Our welcoming, relaxed atmosphere will ensure you and your guests have an experience to treasure. Our food is locally sourced, wherever possible, to give you a taste of the real Norfolk. Our Chefs passionately prepare each of our dishes to really make Bishops Dining Room and Wine Bar a unique restaurant, any special requests are happily accommodated. Enticing, seasonal menus will ensure all of our guests leave us wanting more. Originally from Lake Como, Italy, Alex Tranquillo is looking forward to personally welcoming you and your guests to Bishops Dining Room and Wine Bar. His love for catering will ensure you are looked after from the moment you walk in, until the minute you leave.

    We had a fantastic Sunday lunch at Bishop’s. The food and service was outstanding. We loved the attention to detail. It’s quite a small space making it feel exclusive for a special meal. We really loved it in every way! Thank you to the whole team.

    First time at this lovely restaurant with each course better than the last. Service was impeccable and friendly. We also loved the background music.

    Bishops has to be one of the best if not THE best restaurant in Norwich. The cooking is flawless, the ingredients, locally sourced and beautiful. The combination of flavours wonderfully thought through and delicious. There are few restaurants who produce each course with such care and talent, absolutely loved it!

    Absolutely delicious food, exceptional service in a intimate atmosphere. If you love fine dining, good wine and want to actually feel satiated at the end of your meal, this place is for you. A real gem for sure.
