The food was delicious! Definitely get the Smoky Poke!
Love this place!! We come here because it Never disappoints. Always great service and amazing food!
Good fusion dishes. Well executed. Good outside dining
They don’t have chopsticks anymore. Salmon wings alway excellent. The service was meh.
So good we went two days in a row. Tapas style and very well executed
Absolutely fell in LOVE with this place! I celebrated my birthday with my girlfriends here and we all walked away full, incredibly happy and cheerful! Very accommodating, sweet and hilarious staff, and DELICIOUS food! Will definitely be back!
Waiter had an attitude. We never got the oysters that were ordered and the main course had been served. He said the kitchen was busy and it took time to crack the shells. What?????? We of course cancelled the order. He could have cared less about us.
Food was yummy, as it always is. Delicious -went here for my stepdaughter’s birthday and it didn’t disappoint. Everything is very flavorful and I love the variety of small dishes that come out.
Hostess staff is awe full and after having a reservation for more than a week was seated in an empty back room where tables were clearly available and open in the main dining room. Service was spotty as it was difficult to understand the extremely heavy accent of the waiter. The food on the menu is not as listed online and more small plates that are described as small to large but not really. Food was okay, not great.
The food was good however the service was lackluster. The staff recommended that the food come out in a certain order, which is how we ordered it and it came out of the kitchen in the exact opposite order. The appetizer came out 10-20 minutes after we finished our meal.
Incredible food and lovely service. Charming upstairs outdoor deck.
Oysters half shell: best thing ordered, because was the most simple. oysters were fresh and enjoyable, minor critique was temperature, I prefer cold oysters. Overall, good but nothing special.
Salmon wings: lackluster execution. Fish tasted okay but very mushy. You can skip this fish dish.
BBQ’D Octopus: texture was ok, but the flavor was too much. Overpowering. The slaw tasted good and was absolutely necessary to cut the octopus. Overall, okay and not missing much if you skip.
Chicken Skin Cracklings: first few bites were good, but overall skip. Best way to describe is Kung pao chicken with Thai basil and spice. Interesting take, but not a must order by any means.
Everything Greens: dish was highly recommended by server. Torn. Flavors were great, veggies had good crunch, but dish was overly salty. Overall, order this dish but be prepared to pair with other items. Rice cake was nice touch.
Slow smoked crispy pork belly: last dish to come out, pass. Pork was crispy but extremely dry. Barely edible. Crispy cheddar grits was ok in small portions, but ended up being the majority of the dish. Not sure what ramen butter was.
Easy rider: tastes great. If you love coffee and bourbon, order this.
Interloper: skip. Watered down, did not taste like cantaloupe, you can do better, both to make and to order.
Another one of Stark's fine restaurant and dining establishments in Sonoma County. They do a wonderful job and always enjoy having a meal at any one of their restaurants. Keep up the great work!
All the food we ate were amazing! One slight disappointment was the cocktail. I wish they had more selections on the menu because the one I had which was a wine-based cocktail was just okay.
Great vibe! Good food.
Felt like I was at a frat party at a frat house. Food was meh. Super loud.
The menu looked interesting. However, it just feels they are trying too hard. Not every dish needs a modern twist, or some gimmick. We had the Salmon wings (interesting, but I wouldn't order them again), cobb salad (ok), roasted corn (very good), and pastrami tacos (meh. meat pieces to large, kimchi not... kimchi enough)
Overall it was not bad, but there are so many alternatives that I wouldn't go back.
Everything we ordered was very good, and the staff were professional. It was my girlfriends bday so we came here to celebrate. I would visit again and give it another try.
Such amazing food! Truly a food experience! Great service and ambiance too!
The hostesses were rude and awkward. They first sat us at a table outside on the second floor where no other guests were even present. Then proceeded to tell us that’s where the party is at like we don’t have working vision. We were then seated on the front patio where one of the heaters was broken. That was fun. We asked the waiter for suggestions on food, because that’s a common thing to do when you’re at a new restaurant. He suggested the salmon wings. They were terrible, to say the least. The fatty shoulder of a salmon that is usually the throw away of the fish is not a treat of any kind if that is what they try to tell you. It was a mixture of fishy overcooked and gooey all at the same time if that’s possible. The other dishes were mediocre. I think that’s being polite. It’s as if someone has told this “trendy” spot that adding any kind of sauce to a basic dish makes it special. It doesn’t. The summer squash was under seasoned and undercooked. The Cobb salad had enough dressing for three more Cobb salads. The octopus was delicious. The meatballs were good but nothing mind blowing. The sweet older couple next to us had their check brought to them and clearly their dessert had been forgotten but at that point they were just annoyed and wanted to get out. I would say save your money. Drive to the plaza in Sonoma have a nice Italian dinner there or to the other endless restaurants around the area that are delicious. This place was sadly overpriced for sadly under developed dishes with lack of creativity or authenticity or just flavor or overall culinary skill. Go elsewhere. Save the money, the heartache, and the time. Oh best part is…. We drove past that balcony, you know where the hostess said that’s where the party is on the way out, there was still no one seated there. Thank goodness I don’t have to go get my eyes checked. I must have working vision after all.
Food is fabulous. Service slight. Location is ok. Food is the bomb. Nothing to celebrate for an anniversary. Had to wait for server but she did get us extra sauces, but then she kept our credit card by accident. Uuughhh
Everything was outstanding. Waitstaff was attentive. Food was exceptional. Really wonderful hidden treasure. Our new favorite restaurant in santa rosa.
Wonderful food and service. Bird and the Bottle is our first stop in Santa Rosa every time.
Every dish was perfect and delicious, great service, nice outdoor seating. Love this place and will be back again!
We had a great table upstairs by the window, very intimate and our meal was bomb. The wait staff was the perfect level of attentive.
I had a wonderful Birthday dinner here! We came a little early and got seated at the bar with the most delicious cocktails I’ve ever had! I highly recommend the B&B. We got seated very quickly after and the service was amazing! Loved the food suggestions and descriptions given by the staff. It felt like a 5 course meal, delicious, intentional and fresh!
Awesome they have a separate GF menu.
Amazing food, wine and ambiance. We had a really nice experience. There was no list of spirits and prices, so we were surprised by the price of $35 for a bourbon. A warning would have been appreciated.
This is one of the best restaurants I've been to. I would recommend it to anyone interested in California food.
Great food, and we loved the outdoor patio. Cocktails wine and beer list were all impressive.
Food was great!! We had the watermelon/tomato salad, pork belly, wontons, tacos, and carrot cake. Would definitely recommend for a date night or group outing.
Excellent dinner last night! We sat in the lounge area by the fireplace and ordered the corn with miso aioli and feta, thrice fried potatoes, little gem salad, smoked beets and the our must have lamb meatballs. Everything was super solid, delicious and beautifully presented! Service was friendly and professional. A true SR gem!
Food was creatively prepared and plated; very tasty. We ordered too much, though, and look forward to going back.
Food was excellent. Everything was well done and flavored to perfection. Dog friendly!
Great food, cocktails and our server was fabulous!!
We ate outside; all I can say is yum. Yum. Going back soon.
Wonderful time out sharing great food. The burgers and cauliflower were the best!
Fantastic food, reasonable prices. Excellent service. Loved being able to book outdoor table online. Would definitely recommend!
Excellent all around.
