A great local restaurant with a good basic menu. Daily specials are always good.
Our experience with Easter brunch at Binkley's was fair. The omelets were outstanding, the rest of the buffet selections were just fair. I do not think it was worth the cost of the buffet. Our server replenished our plates regularly, but we had to request coffee refills when we could catch him nearby. I don't think we will return for the breakfast buffet
First visit, won’t be the last. Seated promptly on arrival. Server Megan was attentive without being obtrusive. Excellent food and very reasonable prices.
Had reservation. Could not use. There was no available parking. Lot was full and there was no cross street parking. Off street parking in area is no good to non existent. Sorry had to leave bcuz lack of parking.
Service slow, food did not taste fresh. Potatoes tasted as if the were warmed leftovers
Good food and drinks
We started with spinach and artichoke dip and it was delicious. Everyone at the table commented on how good the food was. I got the pork chop and that sauce was outstanding.
Binkley’s is a great place to go casually. There is a bar area if you want to watch sports and a restaurant area for a quieter dining experience. Nicely done! My wife and daughter LOVE your Margherita Pizza. It’s fresh and nicely filled. Get the hand-tossed. I’m a burger guy. Nicely done there as well with the Brioche Bun. I liked the Home Made Tater Tots. It will be a “go to” whenever we are in town.
First time here. Decided to give this place a try as a friend and I were going to see a show at Clowes Hall afterwards. It took almost an hour to get our food after we ordered. The waitress explained that an 11 top had put there order in right before us. She was very sweet and kept coming back and telling us our food was on its way. I don't really understand why this 11 top put our sandwich and burger order that far behind. By the time we got our food, we only had ten minutes to eat to get to our play on time. I did not even get to finish my meal. What we were able to eat was good. If I am in the area again, I might give it another try.
One of our favorite spots for casual dining in Indianapolis while visiting Butler University.
We go to Binkleys frequently! A great spot before or after the Butler Bulldogs games.
Will not come back......
It was delicious didn't have to wait long and had Lagunitas on tap which was nice
It’s been a year since we have eaten here but have always enjoyed the laid back atmosphere. Decided this year for an early dinner for NYE with our older daughters before they went out. Started the evening with the server spilling a carbonated drink on my husband! She said oh no, I’ll be back with a new napkin - not I’m sorry or anything. He wiped up the floor too! The rest of the night went about like that but when the bill came she was right up on us! A little disappointing in the service area but good food!
We went there before Indiana Pacers Game and everything was very good. We would go back at a later date.
Very festive! The martinis are outstanding! Great place to have a meal before show at Clowes.
Never had a bad meal or bad service at Binkley's. The menu changes occasionally and the new offerings are always worth a try.
Good fish that was not dried out. Waitress was efficient but not particularly friendly.
The service was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. We were a party of 7 that did not arrive at the same time but we were never ignored and never felt rushed as other members arrived. There was a nice fire in the dining area. Our dirty dishes were promptly removed as needed. Awesome experience.
THE PLACE to dine before any Butler Bulldog basketball game!!
Food was cold
We were sadly disappointed with our breakfast at Binkley's on Sunday, November 12th at 11:30 AM. My coffee was cold, the orange juice was not fresh, my daughter's biscuit and gravy was served cold and the food was was not tasty. The restaurant was even cold. The hostess seated us next to the fireplace and turned it on so the ambiance was nice once it warmed up.
Good atmosphere. Excellent food. Only hiccup was waitress took drink and food order, food delivered she then walked by and asked how food looked then she never came back until she brought check. Never asked if interested in dessert, etc.
So loud! That was the worst.
Asked for mojioto, don't carry mint, not a big deal.
While we sat and chatted a server, not ours, came by and began gathering up drink glasses. Glasses were not empty!!. It was just going on 10p on a Saturday, guess that was our hint to leave!!!
Food wasn't bad, but nothing memorable.
Service was a little slow at first...we had to wait about 10 minutes for a menu which seemed odd. Once we ordered service was better and food was excellent!
First time at your restaurant we had table for nine , you all were short of help and it showed waiter was short and bothered and looking very agitated. I’m sorry you were short of help but that wasn’t our fault
Good atmosphere. Server may have made a bad decision to recc not sending an undercooked sandwich back to kitchen
Perfect, our server was attentive without being annoying.
The smoked wings are some of the best in town. Get them sauce on the side because you don't need it.
Decent beer selection. Skewed a little heavy towards national craft brands, but not bad.
Bar staff was excellent.
poor service and a steak dinner that was not served warm....
We've been exploring restaurant options in Indianapolis, near Butler University. Binkley's had a great American menu. The food was very good - better than we expected. The tilapia, salmon, and filet were all delicious. Wine portions were generous. Pricing was reasonable. A bit noisy in the main dining area due to hard surfaces. Servers were overworked on the day we visited, but maintained their professionalism and friendliness.
My granddaughter requested Binkleys for her birthday dinner. Loves their chicken fingers.
Happy 8th Birthday, Ellie.
Great job! Waiter very patient with our large group! Food very good. No waiting for refills. We would come again!
Service was quick, efficient. Food was delicious. Presentation was wonderful. Drinks... divine!
The interior is starting to look a little dated. Beyond that, though, the service is very disorganized. Wait staff does not seem to communicate at all. Various waitresses came and went from our table, yet the service was overall not that fast or attentive.
The 4 of us were reconnecting after many years. This was a great place to do that! The food was incredible & the service spot-on.
Our family got together for brunch/lunch and we all enjoyed our meals. The cream brûlée french toast was yummy.
Waited almost 10 minutes for someone to come to the table. Rarely spoke to the server, who walked by four times before realizing and stopping to refill drinks. It wasn't busy. There were at least two other servers on the dining room side, serving a total of maybe 6 tables in the restaurant. Ordered a special that was inedible. Chicken was rubbery and tasted like it had been frozen several times. Nothing was taken off the bill. Will not be dining there again.
Had a late Friday night dinner. Good food, good service, and great craft beer list.
Our waitress was quite brusque!!! When I told I was waiting for someone she didn't come back for 10 minutes. Consequently we were almost late for play we were going to.
