Went there on mothers day, great way to start the day. Food and service worth it. All our meals were great and good value.
We had a group of 8 women for the last day of our bachelorette party weekend. We had a great table and excellent service. The food was amazing and such great prices. Very cool neighborhood and awesome spot. They don’t do the bottomless mimosas anymore due to the liquor board ending them. But they do have pitchers of mimosas for $12 and it serves 4 glasses. We were excited about bottomless mimosas but it worked out.
Great for brunch - our server was delightful and on top of everything. Definitely a repeater.
service is 10 out of 5 stars. Amazing. They are so friendly, kind. They don't ignore you if they aren't your server. They are accommodating and the food is great.
The owner Kumar said my reservation had it come in however, our son was their early and was told "it just came in" and he saw it on their reservation list. I wasn't able to see the tablet well enough to tell if it was there or not. At any rate they put us on the patio which was on the cool side.
Our waiter was extremely friendly and helpful. He contributed to the overall enjoyment of our dinner.
Staff did a great job and I think we were welcomed by the owner, which was a very nice touch and very much appreciated.
Food is very very average, and is very obviously rushed out of the kitchen. Been here 10+ times and this is always the case. All the food/drinks are definitely pretty poor quality but it’s a decent spot to grab a bite with friends.
You’ll probably feel like you overpaid on your way out
When we are in a mood for a casual neighborhood kind of place, Bing's is usually a good choice for us and we go there at least once or twice a year. For this latest visit I ordered both the soup of the day and the dinner special. The Chicken vegetable soup would have been much better if it wasn't for the heavy handed treatment of black pepper. The 'Pasta with shrimp in a lemon caper wine sauce' was tasty but just 'warm' temperature wise. Our waitress gave us the check without asking if we wanted dessert. When we signaled to her that we are interested in dessert she seemed very surprise. Perhaps that's because they didn't have much to offer that evening as she told us fresh baked cookie was the only thing. Hope this was just a glitch as we had better experience during our past visits.
Friendly service, excellent food (only beef barley too thick - ? too much cornstarch?) and would definitely go back again!
While we had a reservation it took more than 20 minutes for us to be seated
An excellent meal. Enjoyed every thing and will be back for Happy hour.
Great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great,
The service staff was really nice and accommodating! That goes a long way to making the experience good. However, our food came out lukewarm and had a piece of barely cooked bacon with one of the things we ordered and the grits were kind of dry. Though the food had good flavor. They also had cool silverware.
Bings is over favorite neighborhood spot, so, of course, my son picked it for his birthday dinner with his best friend and family. They are great (and patient) with kids. And, they made it easy to drip off a birthday cake ahead if time, sang Happy Birthday, and comped the ice cream. Great place for any meal or any occasion.
Service was slow and bad. Not friendly
We went by for brunch. Had a party of 6 with two children. Staff were flexible with the children and the food was excellent.
Good standard fare. Things were a little slow at first arrival, but picked up quickly. Was a great setting for a long lunch meeting.
A swing and a miss. Our Caesar was swimming in dressing but our dinner was devoid of any seasoning. Drinks were mixed poorly and white wine was warm. The excuse was that they have a new chef and that was the issue. I see that they have used that excuse before so I’m not convinced that really is the issue. Either way, they won’t see us again unfortunately
Always a great quality dining experience and delicious comfort food.
Always A great weekend breakfast. Nice options and good service
Bing is always a fun breakfast option when visit our daughter and her roommates
There was lipstick on my water glass, food was cold
We have been going here for years. The food is good, not what I would call outstanding. We went last week and we waited 45 minutes (after we ordered) only to find out that the kitchen staff had walked out and the floor staff were trying to figure out how to tell the customers. We had also ordered three drinks and the server said she would discount them and still gave us a bill for $17.00. The way this was handled was extremely poor and I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Three of us dined at Bing’s for a girls’ nite out. Had a reservation & all of us had been to Bing’s before. All of us had the NewYork steak. Not only was the service slow— but forgivable as we were having a good talk—but the steaks were terrible cuts of meat. We all know NY steaks can be chewy but flavorful, but these steaks were hunks of gristle, mingled in with some good bits. All the steaks were cooked nicely; the sauce and mushrooms were delicious. But the amount of downright inedible and rubbery gristle was offensive. I’d suggest either getting better cuts of meat, or at least trimming the steaks. As it was, the mushroom sauce (v good, as I mentioned) disguised the inedible parts, and we all had to pry pieces of gristle out of our mouths at the table—disgusting. We really were in the mood to be forgiving, and whatmeat there was did taste great. The owner & chef have to understand that in low light & smothered in sauce, a lousy cut of meat can’t be seen well, hence the repeated chomping down on gristle! Won’t have this again, despite the possibility it could be good if trimmed well. I’m not going to boycott Bing’s because it is convenient, but they need to up their game a bit.
Nice casual local spot for good food and very friendly service.
I think straying too far from the routine pub/neighborhood fare, like burgers, sandwiches and salads is where things go wrong here. They have a fun, ecclectic menu, but the execution isn't always great. If you're looking for great burgers and a great bar experience you can't lose here. Just don't expect too much if you are enticed into ordering some of the other very affordable entree items.
Food and service are always very good! I think what is lacking is that they have happy hour at 9pm to close. As someone who ordered a drink at 9pm I thought I would have an hour to finish it-no one ever said anything but kept turning lights off in different areas and stacking things up-maybe don’t have happy hour at 9pm if you can’t stay open for an hour post 9pm? It seemed implied to leave-and quickly with that...
I've been to Bing's a number of times, but this time my meal (salmon) was way too salty.
It was great and the customer service was great.
Good dinner. Reasonably priced
Bings is a fine venue for getting together with friends. It's casual, and the food is very good. There are lots of options on the menu. It is quiet enough to be able to hear each other - important to me.
We had a blast and the manager and server were a ton of fun- great wine and food. I love this place.
I have these two friends who I think are amazing people who wanted to set up on a date but they wanted to meet over some good food and have me join so of course I took them both to Bing’s. One of my favorite neighborhood spots, I absolutely crave their sriracha honey brussel sprouts and they have delicious cocktails. And they’ve recently upped their “daily specials” game and last night the manager, Andrew, recommended these lamb sliders drizzled with olive oil, feta and mint on Macrina Olivette rolls!! They were absolutely divine. Ling, the adorable bartender gave my friend David a shot of a spicy jalapeño cocktail that rocked his world. And my two friends seemed to find some chemistry over a delicious meal. And even when things don’t come out quite right, the staff at Bing’s are always quick to make it right. Good food, great atmosphere and fun staff. I love Bing’s and am so glad they’re just across the street so I can enjoy myself there whenever I want. So whether you’re after a solo meal at the bar, want a date night spot or are looking to play matchmaker, I highly recommend you go to Bing’s and be brave enough to try their specials!
Great experience. Delicious food and fine service
Service was awful- had to ask my server for coffee to be topped off several times even tho other servers were walking around filling other tables’ cups (ignoring me). Food was cold when we finally got it and the server forgot to bring our appetizer Brussels sprouts. Only thing this restaurant has for me is that it is within walking distance of my house.
This is a nice place for 2 or 12. If the weather is nice, great patio. Good food, good service and reasonable pricing.
We were looking for a lunch place outside of downtown for our monthly get together. I'd never heard of Bing's, but found it on Opentable. The reviews and the menu looked good - and it was good. The menu is sandwiches and salads and the food was all very good. We enjoyed our lunch there and will return.
WE HAVE NEVER BEEN THERE BEFORE AND HAD A VERY PLEASUREABLE DINING EXPERIENCE, AND A GREAT VISIT WITH OLD FRIENDS! WE WILL DEFINITELY GO AGAIN!
Great brunch spot for family. Sometimes we seem to get lost in the service flow even when it is not crowded. Cannot figure that out. Generally, good food and friendly if not the most prompt service
Great neighborhood spot
