The food was great. The serving sizes were generous given the price and quality. Very reasonably priced and yummy! The staff was friendly and attentive.
I decided to try Bing's based on a Seattle Eater review. I came here with my husband and some girlfriends to celebrate a birthday. Rarely do I find a restaurant where I am 100% satisfied with all aspects during my first visit. The service and food were both outstanding! I ordered the brisket migas and could barely finish half of it - - loved the generous portion size. Such tender, melt-in-your-mouth meat, with those spicy sweet tiny red peppers -- mic drop! My hubby ordered the hamburger and fries, which were awesome as well. And $5 for a mimosa?!? Yes please! I'm definitely coming back again, for brunch and to check out lunch/dinner. Thank you Bing's for a wonderful dining experience!
Normally I like Bing's. I used Open Table to secure a table for 3 for brunch on a Sunday. It accepted my reservation, but unfortunately the reservation wasn't for an actual table, but for 3 seats at the counter - which we didn't learn about till we arrived. Not the biggest deal in the world, but not ideal either. I think it would be helpful for the restaurant to have some way to communicate that detail through the reservation process. I might have gone somewhere else had I known we were sitting at a counter, not a table. The other issue, not previously encountered at Bing's, was their food. My husband ordered the biscuits and gravy with the chicken leg. The biscuits came first and were completely cold. The chicken leg came shortly after, and although it seemed warm to the touch on the outside, a thin slice into the chicken showed a completely raw chicken leg. We aren't even sure how that's possible. Meaning, it wasn't like the chicken wasn't cooked all the way through (a sometimes possible mistake I could see happening), the chicken wasn't cooked at all. It was 100% raw. How does a cook place a chicken leg in a fryer for only 30 seconds? Anyway, after that we continued to notice the kitchen having difficulty in managing the orders. The wait staff seemed to be trying to get things right/make them better, but continued to just run into problems/make mistakes. Since we were sitting at the counter, we could actually see the cooks struggling - not exactly what you want to see when other people are cooking your food. So it wasn't the best experience in the world. I'll try it again I'm sure, but probably not for a while.
We eat here a lot. Tonight was off. Wrong drinks and entrees were served. Food seemed off. We could never get our server’s attention, for a refill, for a utensil, for the check. We finally left what I think was enough money on the table and left.
I think we need to take a break from Bing’s and try some new places.
This is a pub, that is warm and welcoming. The service is friendly and professional. The food is good not exceptional.
Lively friendly neighborhood spot with way above average food and excellent service. Best roasted Brussels sprouts in Seattle.
My friends and I throughly enjoyed our evening at Bing’s! Andrew (one of the managers) is awesome! He was so personable and attentive! He checked on us regularly (in addition to our server Maria - who was equally awesome!), and made sure we felt welcomed and were well looked after. The food was super yummy, as were the drinks. This is definitely a neighborhood gem - but also worth the drive if you don’t live in Madison Park. We will definitely be back! Thanks Andrew and Maria for the exceptional service! (And thanks to the kitchen staff for the yummy food!).
We asked for water multiple times and never had our glasses refilled
Food and atmosphere are always good but sometimes the food service is slow and they’re not quick to refill the bottomless mimosas.
The food has never disappointed. We had Brussels sprouts, roasted cauliflower, flatbread, sliders, salad, and beef tips, enough for four of us, and brunch of beers. We shared dished family style. Loved food, loved the attentive service.
‘Twas the morning of Christmas and all through the neighborhood,
Not a restaurant was open, much less one this good!
By brunch time, the doors opened on this bistro called “Bing’s”
With festive staff & decor
And all manner of culinary things!
Holiday ham, prime rib roast & our favorite—Brussel Sprouts
We finished it all and could barely walk out.
It was so fun bringing some coworkers visiting from Brazil to my favorite neighborhood restaurant. They loved the food and as always, the staff at Bing’s was outstanding! Thank you for a lovely evening!
Great food and great service. Really enjoyed it!
So super yummy!
My favorite place for breakfast! Good mimosas and food and a great place to start your weekend off right!
Great brunch experience!
We normally love Bing’s because they have a great brunch. We were disappointed this last trip there. We ordered Bloody Mary’s and they weren’t good. The waiter said that’s just how they were made, but brought us more tomato juice and limes. Didn’t help. The waiter forgot to put in our appetizer order. Everyone’s food was decent. None of us could drink our Bloody Mary so the waiter said she would ask her manager to take them off the bill. She did take them off but not without making a comment how her manager didn’t want to. When clearly none of us enjoyed them. Lastly, when I made the reservation I put that we were celebrating two birthdays. Nothing was done to celebrate and I had to remind the waiter this. So when we were done she came up to the table and in front of the birthday girls asked if they wanted ice cream or something. We declined, paid the bill and left. Huge disappointment for a place we normally have a great time going to.
This has become our new go to place for family dinner or brunch. There is something for everyone. Service is great!
Bing’s has been uneven over the years. One of their top menu items, the prime rib dip, has made it through several different owners/managers; this time it was a bit too well done for my taste. The service was friendly and a mistake was quickly corrected. I do wish, though, that the salad was more basic greens rather than the mish-mash combination of “field” greens. Otherwise a dependable location and servedthe purpose for our get-together.
Have been here several times but this visit was our last. The server, Sunshine, was anything but. We loved hearing her tell the table next to us "if I make it through today I'm never drinking again." Great! Love knowing she is hungover and that should excuse her terrible service. Didn't greet us for 15 minutes and then took at least that long to cash out our checks because she couldn't be bothered to bring her own bank of change. And then to top it off the food just didn't taste good. Don't waste your money on this place. Also, it seems they may have gotten in trouble with the liquor board and can no longer serve bottomless mimosas. Won't be back to experience terrible service and sub-par food.
We've been to Bing's several times, usually after our kids get off work. The food is very good for a neighborhood place. Service isn't the fastest, but that's because they spend a bit more time preparing it - to good effect. We've had brusque service before, but this time it was very cordial. (Ask for 'Sunshine'!)
I took 4 college kids for dinner to get them off campus and to introduce them to another Neighborhood in Seattle.
We enjoyed our meal and the fact that we could add a person to our reservation easily.
The BBQ chicken flat bread was a little spicy though.
We'll be back.
Always delicious! Their brunch is so good! I highly recommend the sriracha brussel sprouts!
Delightful dinner w superb service -- will definitely come back - food was delicious!
I met some friends there for brunch, we were blown away. SO YUMMY!!!
Everyone was great. A portion of our party was late, and everyone was accommodating despite delay and a child in the group. This was a big improvement vs a previous visit when I felt that no one wanted to try to help salvage a not great situation.
We have since been to Bing’s for dinner (rather than brunch) and had two very positive experiences with service staff and food.
A neighborhood winner.
The waiter, whom I don't remember him giving my name was nice. He's from Wisconsin originally. He's cool, the ambiance was good. But the food just wasn't that great.
My son and I went for early brunch on a Sunday at 9 with a reservation. The place was empty: inside and outside. We asked to sit outside and ordered. Service was okay not great. After about 20 minutes, my son was so preoccupied by bees and flies (which I realize come with being outdoors) that he could not eat. The outside tables were full, but inside tables were 20% full at most. They would not allow us to move inside. They also gave me boxes to put our uneaten meals in while shoving a bill in my face and ignoring my upset son. Horrible service. Reminded me it was not so great when we went later in the day in June when we had relatives in town.
I will never go here again.
Rude, rude, and more rude.
Had a great Father's Day brunch. Brunch menu great, boozy brunch drinks perfect.
Took my husband and kids for father's day for the first time. We really enjoyed it.
Three generations from three states congregated at Bing's on Sun. We had Tony as our server, who was fabulous! Charming, communicative, helpful. Bing's serves healthy-sized plates, so come hungry!
Terrible service with amazing flavor profiles. Wish they could get a little more staff to match the amazing food. Sat 20 minutes with an empty glass before they asked me if I wanted a refill. Then proceeded to wait for 5 more minutes for a mimosa and water fill. Wish I could have been treated a little better for my birthday weekend brunch!
Food is great but the service is slow, especially if you are in a larger party. Great drinks and beer selection.
Great spot for lunch! Sat outside and had a BLT and salad- very tasty.
I have eaten here many times for lunch and always enjoyed the restaurant but unfortunately for Sunday brunch it was very disappointing. The service was indifferent, the restaurant was not clean (seated at a window table and the window sill - at elbow level- was dirty and dusty) and the food was meh. It's a great location and the clientele seemed energetic and young but sadly we will not be returning.
Always love coming to Bing's where the friendly service matches the atmosphere and layout. All of the employees are very warm and inviting. Their skillet for brunch is great! Other items on the menu are also good.
Service was rude and unprofessional. Food was poor and overpriced. We have been here two times and for two times we ended up very disappointed.
We had an excellent lunch with our party of 5. The food was delicious and we appreciated the healthy options. Our server was friendly and efficient. We'll be back!
Able to accommodate a party of 14! Timing on delivery of meals was a bit slow for a large party but the bottomless mimosa's help with patience and the food was fabulous so we paid very little mind to the delay. Wait staff was friendly and helpful with a birthday cake we brought to the restaurant. All in a great time was had by all and I think many in the party will return again.
