Bin on the Lake is a warm and welcoming restaurant and bar located on the shores of Lake Washington. With views of Lake Washington and the Olympic Mountains, Bin on the Lake offers Northwestern cuisine with Mediterranean influence in a lively, social atmosphere.

Our dining room is versatile and able to accommodate groups of varying sizes. The a la carte dinner menu is available for groups of up to 16 people. Prix Fixe menu packages are also available for groups of 16-30.

The semi-private dining space is divided into 3 sections. Rows of sheer curtains can be drawn to provide a more intimate dining space for groups.

We had a delayed Valentines dinner at Bin on the Lake. the wine list is impressive and my old fashioned cocktail was quite good. The ambiance is simple but classy, with most tables getting a nice view of the lake. The food was tasty and yet, somewhat health. We both enjoyed our selections. The service was exactly what we like, with our server being friendly but not obtrusive. I have a hearing problem and appreciated the quiet atmosphere.I recommend this restaurant and will return.

Really disappointing :( First, we had to wait almost 10 minutes as there was no one at the host stand and not until a server came over did we get any attention or seated.
I will say, view is very nice.
The food was a big let down. We ordered cheese and 2 were ok, on was limp and looked like it had been sitting out all day. Butter lettuce salad was good but nothing special, still was the best thing we ate. I ordered cod. It came with a succotash that looked like British breakfast beans and tasted similar - very one note and like tomato paste. Cod was ok but had no seasoning. Husband had the chicken that was stuffed with brown mush (i think it was supposed to be sauage?) and tasted like a wet paper bag. For $150 I would have expected much more. Will not be back.

The occasion was our celebration of Valentine's Day. I was served a nice Porter. My wife chose a wine to begin. We split a butter lettuce with figs salad; very nicely and amply dressed I ordered the Seafood Risotto which was very good, the scampi was well flavored and the risotto was perfectly cooked. My wife had the Scallops. She had a side of fingerling potatos and baby carrots which were nicely flavord but slightly underdone. Compliments and concerns were sent to the chef. Our dinner was purchased wirh a GROUPON. Unfortunately the voucher was printed with no voucher code due to inadvertent redeeming before printing the voucher. The Server and management was very accomodating and honored the purchase receipt. I'm very unhappy with GROUPON because the purchaser has no way of rcovering the Voucher Code at this time, and no way of contacting them on a person to person phone call. The Service Provider should be the only party able to indicate a redemption of the purchase.

Service was very slow despite the restaurant not appearing to be particularly busy. Steaks were fine, nothing compared to a proper steak restaurant and mine was more of a medium-well rather than the medium-rare I’d ordered. No bread basket or anything. A forgettable experience which was disappointing given that it was a special occasion.

Lovely dinner, steak and salmon were both amazing, portions might be a bit small but worked for us. Its a little pricey, but probably worth it. We really enjoyed the view and the food. Will eat there again.

Experience started bad with the host. Server was good but food was average at best. Scallops dish was disappointing. Scallops would have been good but buried them in mediocre sides.

It was our anniversary dinner. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The atmosphere was great. We were seated right on time. And since we were staying at the hotel, it was within walking distance. I highly recommended.

We had a wonderful date! The food was delicious, and obviously ultra-fresh. Service was friendly, and our meals came out very fast. Try the salted chocolate truffle cake - it’s UNBELIEVABLE.

Dan was awesome. Troy was not. Troy can’t be a bar tender and a waiter. Dan came to save the evening and was excellent. work on customer service with reservation confirmation call. Very unprofessional. Hats off to the chef. Food was excellent.

We sat at the bar and had a pre-dinner drink before being seated. The bartender was very kind and went above and beyond service-wise. At dinner, very gracious Server who was attentive but let us sit and catch up undisturbed. Overall, great night on the water at Bin! Never disappoints!

We arrived on time for a 7:00pm reservation and were seated right away, however the drinks did not arrive until 7:24. It was our anniversary and the hostess wished us a Happy Anniversary and so did the waiter initially but not as we left, nor was anything special that I could see done for us. My wife ordered "The Duo" and had to send her filet back as it was crusted over and poorly cooked. About 10 minutes later a new filet was delivered however the potatoes that she had saved were cold. I would have thought that a new serving of potatoes would also have been delivered, but no it was just the steak. The waiter did offer to buy one desert for our trouble which was appreciated however certainly did not make up for the delays and initial cooking. I would not recommend Bin on the Lake, the prices are high not matching the food and the service.

Very nice place. The service was excellent. Jason, went out of his way to contact me, regarding a reservation that I had made online. The view was awesome. The wine list is fantastic. The food portions weren't huge, but that really didn't matter to me. Everything was very nice.

Salmon and steak were over cooked and dry. Scallops were under cooked and had no dear. $240 including tip for 3 and 1 glass of wine is outrageous given lack of quality in the food offered. Several other great restaurants even on the Eastside. This one keeps getting worse.

We bought a groupon $30 for $60 coupon. With the coupon the food cost seemed cheap initially, but the portions were really small so it’s more on the expensive side even with a coupon. My kids ordered steak from the kids menu and it was $26 each for about 2 oz. and we ordered the duo which was $60 for two people.
The ambience is great since it’s right on the lake Washington from Kirkland.

Beautiful view , a very lovely menu offering steak and seafood . The presentation of the food is a masterpiece. I just ate at the bar if this was 5 star there I'm sure it's just as fantastic at a table. From the moment I checked in with the hostess to being serve to leaving I felt so welcomed and very comfortable especially Dining alone.

We ordered the Sea Crust Prime Rib Special, and it was amazing. It melted in our mouths, and the whole dish and sides were flavorful. Our waitress was amazing. She was attentive and enthusiastic, and she gave us the best service.

I have gone to Bin on the Lake in the past and been very happy with it. I was not pleased this time with our Christmas Eve Dinner and thought a $100 for an average main course, salad and glass and a half of wine was a poor value.

The Caeser salad came with a sweet dressing which was most odd. I sent the salad back and the waiter did go downstairs and get a more traditional Caeser dressing and some anchovies. This was nice. However, he served the salad with the dressing on the side in a plastic to go container. For $100 dinner, I don't want to have to mix and dress my own salad from a to go container.

The fish served was a cod which was good and fresh, but the relish with it was heavy with bacon/salt pork. When people order fish, they are often not meat eaters, so why overpower a nice delicate fish with pork or bacon. I basically had a dish that tasted like bacon and I wanted fish. Bad choice.

The potatoes served with the fish were gummy like they had been over whipped or sitting too long or both. Not light and fluffy. I realize they were mixed with cauliflower, but they were still odd looking. Kind of a tan color which one wouldn't expect from a mix of cauliflower and potatoes.

The service was okay, but not stellar. For a location and level of restaurant this is, you would expect top notch service. Our waiter was no more polished than you would find at a lesser restaurant. The wine was good, but we always notice the wine prices are among the highest in Kirkland.

The setting is lovely which is probably the reason for the inflated prices. I will go again for happy hour, but probably skip dinner for the near future.

Beautiful setting with a lovely view of the water. Too bad the food was mediocre at best. Stale focaccia, over cooked chicken, nondescript sauces. Very disappointing.
