Bin 595 Ratings and Reviews
I took my wife to this restaurant for her birthday breakfast, our server was very patient and professional, my special request for chocolate covered strawberries became the biggest surprise as it was complimentary along with a fruit basket of red roses, the food was great , pricing was great ,I'll definitely go back and recommend this restaurant to whoever is looking for a place of quiet dining.
The food quality was average, small portion sizes and prices were high. Service was nothing out of the ordinary. I ordered an appetizer. It was never brought out and the waiter did not mention it nor was it included on the bill. The food, cost and service experience does not motivate me to return.
This restaurant is set in the Renaissance Hotel i.e. It's the lobby bar restaurant. As such the noise level can get rather loud. You can hear the conversations of the bar patrons at your booth. The steaks (rib eye) and (churrascaro) were cooked to perfection; however, they got cold very quickly as they were served on plates rather than skillets. The side dishes (marbled and fingerling potatos) were tasty however I couldn't tell the difference between the two. They looked and tasted the same. Overall, I wouldn't go out of my way to dine here. However, if you're on business and staying at the hotel and don't want to venture out, its a pretty decent meal.
Although the restaurant was not full, service was very slow. I had the lobster bisque and Watermelon salad, with added salmon. The bisque was warm, but not hot. For the salad, I got some large chunks of watermelon drizzled with balsamic and bocconcini. The salmon was simply placed on the side of the plate and was flavorless. This meal took nearly 30 minutes to get to my table. The location was convenient to my upcoming meeting, but the food and service would not command a repeat visit.
We were there on New Years Eve. The Hostess took along time to greet us then sat us without drink or wine menus. We waited over 20 min for service which we had to flag the hostess for. Then another 20 minfor drinks. The Menu was prefix. All of thefood was fabulous. If you want great food and don't expect service this place is for you
Food was not good and service was bad. On New Years Eve they ran a special menu and the waiter didn't know it at all. Drinks and food took forever. Tempura shrimp were not fresh and hot, seemed they were heated up frozen ones, salad dressing had to be requested for the salads, filet was severely undercooked and tough, egg plant parmasan was under cook, pasta was served with out sauce, dessert resembled frozen old items, and champagne toast was forgotten to be served.
The menu has completely changed. Almost nothing listed online was still available. Service was adequate however they brought our entrées while we were still eating our soup. Steak was cooked to order but the cut had too much gristle and too much fat. Atmosphere was quiet and suitable for good conversation. All in all not the place that used to be.
There was a party at the bar that made the noise level unbearable. The menu was decent and priced ok. Service was good. However my boyfriend ordered the grouper and felt it wasn't fresh. I ordered the shrimp and lobster salad, but our server never came back and I needed more dressing as the salad was bland.
The bread was the worst I've ever eaten, very hard and dry. The butter was rock solid, but the spinach dip was ok. The entrée was ok also, nothing to write home about. Everything was just ok. For the price it should have been better quality food. I did like the decor but the lights were too bright, no biggie though. My wife and I were the only people in the restaurant so wait time wasn't a factor for anything.
Located inside Renaissance Hotel, it was a surprising 4 star! It can get loud if there is a large group at the bar but once the bar is less crowded, can be a romantic spot. Service was fantastic but I think due to lack of patrons at the time, waitstaff was at a loss for what to do. Must have asked me 8-9 times if I needed anything! I respect the service though and their recommendations were perfect. If all hotel restaurants were this good, I wouldn't need this app 😊
There was only one other table in the restaurant that was occupied. Needless to say the service was good. The food was also good however as a side it was potatoes and vegetables. To pay $40 or so for a steak and get two tiny potatoes was not good. The steak was delicious. Felt the menu was a but over priced but overall experience was very good
Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed our meal! The staff were friendly and anticipated our needs. This restaurant's menu is eclectic and has something for everyone. Our server was superb in his recommendations. Their wine list is impressive as well. I will be back.
Beautiful contemporary decor with uncomfortable seating and inappropriate lighting.
The waitress was lovely and helpful, a great server! Perhaps better management would look at details.
I ordered a salad with shrimp. The shrimp were watery, seemed like they had just been defrosted. The salad was uninteresting, just lots of lettuce.
Sorry it was not better. We are local and would love to have a good fine dining option.
Dinner for two,
Slow ordering, slow getting us food, really slow getting us check, Credit Card machine down, server running to find somewhere that could take our payment. paid cash and dashed.
Strange seating arrangement with half circle booths facing each other. really bright lights. if you sit side by side, you'll stare at another table eating. uncomfortable for both parties. little separation for dinner from noisy bar.
I ordered Hummus, Roasted Garlic and Pita with Semolina Dusted Calamari & Shrimp as my entree. food was good, nothing special.
Service was poor, food was poor to mediocre. The lobster in my wife's' salad was mussy and tasteless. My grouper was fair. The waiter was nowhere to be found most of the time. When we sat down we were the only customers in the entire restaurant, so there was no excuse for the slow service and poor food.
No one at the entrance to greet: Place was noisy, service awful. One of the menu had a missing page. She went and got differnt kind of menu. It is not a upscale restaurant. please go if you want to have a drink. More for the hotel dining. It is in the Renaissance hotel
My 2nd time here and food and overall experience merits a 3rd and more time. Bin 595 provides Plantation with rare quality and non-restaurant chain eating. Being a hotel restaurant probably accounts for its lack of crowds but, customers were steady when we were there. Good variety and selection, portions were substantial and service staff was attentive although not obtrusive.
