   The service and food at BIN595 was fabulous. Our waiter was excellent. We each ordered something different. We tarted with the Brussels sprouts appetizer and then the turkey avocado sandwich and seven layer salad. We ordered wine and enjoyed key lime pie for dessert. I visited this restaurant before and always enjoy. Looking forward to returning.

   Not a lavish meal just standard breakfast items. A grade better then ordinary hotel but not in the realm of top notch cuisine. Staff was friendly but overworked and always tried to be very pleasant just not what I had expected for a special occasion

   Christine was the hostess and somehow ended up being our server too. She was fabulous. From start to finish she was on top of everything. She asked all the right questions and made sure everything was just perfect! Hugo, the bartender was great too. He made this super secret vodka cocktail with Rosemary, lemon and lime juice with a sprig of something else that was a homerun. (It’s worth just stopping in for one of those bad boys). Then came a beautiful bottle of Pinot Grigio at a very reasonable price that was just the right thing to go with our meal. Christine brought out some very tasty garlic knots(the Bin 595 version of garlic rolls). For the main course we had the Jalapeño honey mustard grouper and the glazed grilled salmon. Both were excellent. For dessert, well I can’t really tell you that because my cardiologist would freak out. But just drop in and ask for Christine! You won’t be disappointed! Bon appétit!

   They did a great job of making it special for Valentine’s Day. They brought us a complimentary cocktail each. It would have been nice to have had some bread too but that was not a big deal. The food was good but a little pricey. It almost felt like they want the food to live up to the pricing instead of the pricing to be based on the taste and presentation of the food. We ordered a brusselsprouts dish as an appetizer but it really was better suited as an a la carte side. They were delicious though. We asked for the candied jalapeños on the side. They came out on the side but not candied. We did say something and the waitress didn’t know how to respond but a manager came out and was great about it and offered free dessert. We had for our main dishes a quinoa dish and fish dish. They were good. A bit overpriced but good. As for the dessert, we ordered the chocolate cake. It was complimentary so no real complaints but it was dry and not worth eating. It at the very least needed a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. The ambiance was nice and romantic. Some places give a rose out to the ladies on Valentine’s Day. Not here. But that was okay as I came with a dozen. We will go back as it is worth another try and not many options in Plantation. The staff were great and there is no question they are trying hard to succeed.

   The place is quiet, only four or five tables busy when we ate. The grouper was fabulous, over all the menu is a bit restricted but not short on flavor. I felt some of the wines were a bit over priced, but it is South Florida.

    When we arrived there was no one else in the restaurant so apparently there was only one waitress. Once we got our food we never saw her again. We needed items but by the time she got them back to our table our food was cold so it wasn’t worth it. Pricey meal for that kind of service.
